Man confesses to having started last year’s fire in Bohemian Switzerland

   A man has come forward to the police claiming to have started the
   largescale fire that wreaked havoc in one of Czechia’s most famous
   national parks known as Bohemian Switzerland last year, CNN Prima News
   reported on Friday. The forest fire was the largest the Czech Republic
   has ever seen.

   According to the TV station, the man confessed to having started
   several smaller fires in the national park that occurred during the
   Easter period. However, during the interrogation, he eventually
   confessed to also starting a fire at the site called Malinový důl, from
   which the flames subsequently spread into much of the rest of the park.
   Police have not yet confirmed the man’s confession.
