2025-07-21 Butlerian Jihad numbers

Since I've been posting so much about the Butlerian Jihad, you might
wonder how many IP addresses or networks are actually being banned.

Here's what Munin shows:

At the end of June, things start picking up and on July 3, numbers
start going up for real. The butlerian-jihad jail (1 hour) dances up
and down and sometimes goes up to 5k but reaches 10k around July 9.
The butlerian-jihad-jail (1 week) climbs to around 8k in the same time
period. After that numbers fall back down but since July 12 or the
week-long ban hovers around 3k and the one-hour-long ban jumps up from
zero 5k many times, reaching 11k on July 17.

Currently, 2.70k IP ranges are affected by the week-long ban.

At the same time, people have been wondering on Reddit, two people
sent me emails about Emacs Wiki and three people sent me emails (or
contacted me on Discord/IRC) about Campaign Wiki.
