SyncTERM is the top dawg BBS Terminal Software!
Why?...
It is developed CURRENTLY, in 2o26, by a TEAM of BBS rockstars!!
The software IS created by the Synchronet BBS Software crew, and it
does have some features that are best suited for Synchronet BBSes.
(Mouse support, xBIN graphics and more...)
That being said, IMO it is the BEST way to connect to BBSes,
period! Theres so many features here, from ANSI-capture to mouse
support to 40 column mode, 16:9 (widescreen 132 column modes)...
it's simply a feature-packed ANSI Terminal Software that you should
think about using in 2o26!
You can find the software, and information about building it from

Alternatively, I found this Linux build script VERY helpful when I
couldn't figure out the necessary packages needed to build, support
and run SyncTERM. It's by MeaTLoTioN of The Quantum Wormhole BBS
and is really good. It works great for Ubuntu, Arch, Raspberry Pi
OS and other main Linux distros.
TEXT Build SyncTERM
For most of us, MeaTLoTioNs script will
just work.
