MIKE'S GINGER SNAPS Servings: 1 T. ginger 1 egg 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. dark molasses Mix flour, ginger, salt, soda and cinnamon. Cream together shortening and sugar, add egg and molasses. Add dry mix gradually. Roll into balls. Roll into sugar. Bake at 350F for 12 minutes on greased cookie sheets.
