Access Technology's 20/20 Spreadsheet Integrated With Prelude Office Software


NATICK. Massachusetts. January 29. 1990 -- Designed to meet the unique
integration needs of UNIX-based computer users, Access Technology,
Inc., developer of the popular 20/20 integrated spreadsheet package,
and PhaseII Software Corp., owner of the Prelude Office Software
office automation package, today announced the availability of an
integration module that links the two products.


With its Prelude Office Software, Phase II was included in the
largest-ever Air Force UNIX computer procurement -- the recently
awarded $1 billion Air Force AFCAC-25 1 Office Automation Contract
won by AT&T.


The integration module, developed by PhaseII, reads and writes 20/20
spreadsheet data to the Prelude clipboard, and provides a direct route
from 20/20 to the Prelude Office main menu.  The module fully
integrates 20/20 as a selection on the Prelude Office main menu.


The integration of 20/20 and Prelude Office Software provides several
tangible benefits to users of both products. These include:


o Increased spreadsheet functionality for existing Prelude Office
Software customers. 20/20 is a fully integrated spreadsheet that
combines advanced graphics, database management and consolidation
facilities. 20/20 also has the ability to read, write and consolidate
Lotus 1-2-3 and PC Excel models directly from the 20/20 command line.


o 20/20 customers gaining the advantages of a leading integrated
Office Automation solution that has a common user interface (including
mail and calendar management) across multiple UNIX-based hardware
platforms.
