# 2024-05-19 Profectus Beta 1.2

Profectus Beta 1.2 comes with the following changes:
* Add settings.json file in user-specific config directory
* macOS .app bundle support
* Themes are read from the OS's user-specific config directory. On first startup, the config directory for profectus is created and the bundled themes are placed inside it.
* Default fonts are bundled in the binary.
* All Scroll Protocol success status codes (20-29) are supported. This was a recent addition to the Scroll Protocol to add UDC categoriztion.

The config directory is in the following places for each platform:
* `$HOME/.config/profectus` or `$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/profectus` on Linux
* `%%APPDATA%%/profectus` on Windows
* `$HOME/Library/Preferences/profectus` on macOS
