Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the BOLDED fonts in TERM 4.8? I
realize this is likely an ANSI terminal emulation feature but bolded fonts just
 do not look pretty on native Amiga screenmodes to my eyes.

JrComm doesn't force bold fonts and neither does the telent program "DCTELNET"
which is ironic since that is a program I would expect the behavior from.

NComm mirrors this behavior as well, despite any settings changes I make. Maybe
 I am just not finding the right one in both cases?
