However, Thunderbird is the easiest on my eyes, my most preferred email client, and even the default font seems to support way more utf-8 characters than any other newsreader I've tried. So I will keep looking into it and see if I can find any way to fix it (maybe even hacking smapinntpd to remove these spaces if present). Regards, Nick ....
