The real question is: How many other leftists listened to the debate and
learned from it?

My feeling is that the answer is "too many for the Left to be comfortable".

Then you see the snowball effect as the ones who learned changed their lives,
became more happy and successful, and other Lefties saw that too.

Remember that it's the Left who is keeping people down.  Keeping success out of
the news cycle.  Because their voters won't stay on the plantation if there's
something better out there.
