Of course. They aren't going to betray their country for free.  And these
congress-critters also thing that they are also in the Elite class (emphasis on
"think" because they aren't).

Yup.  Standard practice.  Use the emotional argument.  But that's not having
the impact it used to.

Sort of like when a company cuts out layers of management to downsize and
everything still works as smooth as it did before, leaving people to ask "What
