I suppose that's why the space before the quote character isn't 'normal'. When you second-level quote it now you have the above result, instead of this:

Yeah, you gotta do what you gotta do to keep yourself interested in these hobbies. In my case, when development has slowed, and meaningful conversation has slowed.. you have to go out of your way to try to talk about something somewhat interesting. Honestly, quote characters aren't all that interesting, but desparate times require desparate measures, you know?
