It comes on one of the cable networks >here. They run several episodes a night, though. Not being a good >"binge-watcher," it made it a little more difficult to keep up with, but it d >ndeed seem like a good show. MP>I need to see if a new season has shown up there yet or not. Being set so far in the past I'm not sure catching newer shows or older ones matter all that much other than the relationships between some of the characters that changed over the years. The idea of it didn't strike me as being that great but once I got into it I've kept up to date with the shows that have now been running for 19 years. It must be popular to have lasted that long, and most of the characters are aging better than one might expect.. B) MP>There is another Canadian show, about a female private eye set in a similar >time period, that I got into watching on PBS online. I cannot remember the >name but it also seemed decent, and the lead is easy on the eyes. ;) I think you mean Frankie Drake Mysteries. (2017 to 2021) That is set a slightly later than Murdoch but still in the late 1920's. Lauren Lee Smith is Frankie Drake and she IS quite easy on the eyes. B) She was in another series called The Listener where she played a modern police detective, but in that one she had very short platinum blonde hair rather than the red locks she sported in Drake, although I think in 1 or 2 Drake seasons her hair went blonde too.. --- * SLMR Rob * [Enter]... ?!? ...
