Yes, I hesitated when I said English versions since a lot of them were in British English originally. MP>Sanford and Son was based on a British show, Steptoe and Son. I need to >see the original sometime. That's one I hadn't heard about originally being British. MP>There was a show in one of the Scandanavian countries... It made me curious about the original. Yes, that one is listed in most lists of popular shows remade in American English versions and relocated into usually the USA.. I was trying to think of another show I got through BBS the other day. It takes place in Glasgow, a Marine Homicide show called Annika after the main character.. It's usually pretty good, although a little funny in places like she will suddenly stop and look into the Camera and talk to the watching audience outside of the show, explaining or commenting on something. That show is a copy of one from Norway. We occasionally get a free trial of channels that cost extra to get on my package and I was happy to see I got one of the BBC channels, but a look the other day didn't show any programs that I was hoping to find.. --- * SLMR Rob * Error: Computer possessed...
