Yes, that's the sort of thing that causes issues when browsers
get older, that and if encryption is involved, new versions of
that come out. I use Thunderbird (on its own) to do eMail and
I refuse the updates that often come out very few weeks as long
as it functions well. I'm running v68 and it wants me to update
to v78, but apparently the latest version is 136, so I assume
version 78 is the last that will run on Windows 7.. But I did
a while back have to update it to v68 because the previous version
I was running couldn't handle the newest eMail encryption.

I find my final Win7 version of Opera works on most sites that don't
block it because it is protective of ads and trackers.

Recently I had a real hassle because I had to fill out forms
online to do with the OESP for Hydro. It refused to let me use
my Laptop browser so I had to try to manage it using my phone.

It didn't help that the forms came back twice because they said
it wasn't filled out right. I finally got someone on the phone
and the problem was that Hydro had my mailing address as xxx Road
but they had my Service address as xxx CRT.

I assume CRT is Court rather than Crescent. I'm at the end of a
one lane road so it's barely a Road, let along anything fancier..

But I can go to the Hydro web site using Opera with no problem..

That Old version I mean, since I am running Opera on my Phone too.
Plus my phone is still 100% up to date so if something doesn't
like Opera I have a current version of Chrome on there as well.
