Sad fact is that in a regular home today, the Captain Paranoias of the world
must share their networks with people who purchases all sort of useless IoT
crap.

I tend to place all the suspicious stuff in their own network segments or LANs.
I even have two wireless networks at home: one for regular clients and one for
suspicious clients. THe suspicious clients don't even get access to the
Internet.
