It's so simple.

1) Rince rice (rub between hands)
2) Add to pot
3) Add double the water of the amount of rice

Turn pot on like 1 or 2 on the dial.  Cover.  After around 8 mins stir,
lower heat to simmer and leave until done.  

No special equipment needed works every time, nice and fluffy never had
an issue.
