Harmful bacteria like E. coli, salmonella, and fecal coliform > thrive in reusable bags unless they are washed after each use, according > to an August 2011 peer-reviewed study, "Assessment of the Potential for > Cross-contamination of Food Products by Reusable Shopping Bags." There are some things... dry goods like a box of cereal... I would not mind using cloth bags to carry. There are others... things that sweat or have juices that can leak... that I would never want to put in a cloth bag, even if I wash the bags weekly. I think this explains a good reason why I should not be alone in this thinking. Mike * SLMR 2.1a * What do you mean, QWK??
