   Low pressure in the southeast brings unsettled weather here; generally
   settled elsewhere with bright conditions and sunny spells, then
   becoming unsettled northwest.

   Thursday
   Sunny and dry in Spain and Portugal today, some cloud in the north
   later; quite warm in the southwest. It is likely to be staying fine
   across the Balearics too. One or two showers for Corsica and Sardinia
   but otherwise sunny. Some in central and southern Italy in the morning
   with a notable northerly wind but fine for the north. Showery largely
   fade later. Fine from Slovenia towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, widely
   rainy further south with snow in the Balkan mountains. Heavy rain in
   Greece, some of it thundery. This rain extends to the west coast of
   Türkiye, but the rest of the country should be dry and bright with
   sunny spells.
   France will be dry and fair, morning sun increasingly interrupted by
   cloud from the west. More dry weather and sunny spells in the Low
   Countries, though increasingly cloudy here too. Germany will be dry
   with sunny spells, less cloud building here than to the west. A mix of
   cloud and sun for the Alpine countries, Poland, and Hungary. Cloudy for
   Ukraine and Romania, widely rainy in southern Romania and Bulgaria.
   Rain and wind in western and southern areas of Norway today with spells
   of rain northward along the coast. Bright for Denmark with good spells
   of sunshine. Fair for Sweden with sunny spells here, best in the east.
   Staying fine and cool through the Baltic States and Finland, some cloud
   at times over the Baltics.

   Friday
   A cloudier day in Iberia though still warm, sunny spells west. Cloud
   extends across the central Mediterranean islands with only scattered
   showers. Fine for Italy with some cloud in the north, odd showers to
   the south; strong north-northeasterlies in southern Italy. Mostly dry
   for the Balkan States though rain and snow over the hills, good
   sunshine in the north. Westerly winds in southern Greece with spells of
   rain, at times heavy. Rain in western Türkiye, fine to the east.
   A cloudy day for France and the Low Countries, this cloud extending
   into Switzerland and west Germany. A southerly wind increases along the
   English Channel and North Sea coast through the day with patchy rain
   here pushing into central France. Fine with sunshine east Germany,
   Poland, and southward through Czechia and Austria. More cloud further
   east in Ukraine and Hungary. Heavy rain in south Romania and Bulgaria.
   Southerly winds picking up in Norway, some spells of rain in southern
   areas, drier but cloudy to the north. Similarly cloudy in northern
   Sweden and Finland, sunny and dry to the south. Similarly fine in
   Denmark. A mix of cloud and sun in the Baltic States, some odd patchy
   rain east.
