The answers to today's Strands, game #607, are SKULL FEMUR FIBULA ULNA RADIUS

First off, what a treat to have a Halloween-themed board with orange and 
purple highlights and a spooky results grid. In the words of Strands, Well 
done! 

This game was very much a case of trick or hint for me. I started off well, 
seeing SKULL and then FEMUR, but after getting these and the third most 
obvious bone, FIBULA, I ran aground. 

Fortunately, I found plenty of non-game words in the pumpkin patch and hints 
gave me ULNA and RADIUS and after getting the spangram I was able to unearth 
STERNUM and HUMERUS. Yesterday's NYT Strands answers (Thursday, October 30,

What is NYT Strands? 

Strands is the NYT's not-so-new-any-more word game, following Wordle and 
Connections. It's now a fully fledged member of the NYT's games stable that 
has been running for a year and which can be played on the NYT Games site on 
desktop or mobile.
