Well, how about incorporating the "reincarnation" function, and allowing a Roguer one (or two, or three, or...) chance to be re-incarnated, with some yet-to-be-determined pen- alty. My own thoughts would be to take away some gold, scatter the con- tents of the pack around, and put the rogue on a level equal to one-half the one s/he was on when he got killed. But maybe the experience points shold NOT be reduced.
