   |     ST506/412 - JB2ESDI - JB1 SCSI - JB3 IDE 2/4 - JB2     |

   |  The four jumpers on the respective jumper blocks enable   |
   |   Mediadapter addresses (MD) 0-3 with MD0, the default,    |
   | being the leftmost jumper as shown above. If more than one |
   |  Mediadapter is attached to a hyperSTORE controller, each  |
   | must have a unique address, with one being MD0; the order  |
   |          of the other addresses is insignificant.          |

   | JB1 on the ST506/412 Mediadapter is the "encoding method"  |
   |              jumper and has no pins present.               |

   | It is factory set a folllows: "open" enables MFM, "closed  |
   |                   by trace" enables RLL.                   |
