brcon2026: 25 Years of Gopher Protocol!

This series continues of what you can expect at brcon2026 from 27th of

## 25 Years of Gopher!

In mid-1991 the Gopher system was released at the University of
Minnesota. In 1993 it was moved into RFC 1436:

As of 2026 Gopher has grown up, ended its education, is now starting its
career to become the CEO of the Internet some day. Will it marry? Will it
have kids? We don't know.

But we know for sure, that gopher gives us:

* a hierarchical menu system of easy to access information
* a simple syntax
* a system that can be created quickly and inexpensively
* maximum of flexibility until today (UTF-8, plumbing, links to different
  other younger and future protocols)

At brcon we will see the current state of gopher and dream about the
future of gopher.
