Talk about movie/tv adaptations and how they horribly failed or met your every expectation and more. <3 #Post#: 23-------------------------------------------------- Re: Books of Past, Present and Future <3 By: Faith Rivens Date: April 18, 2011, 5:47 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I'm going to jump ahead and begin a discussion. I don't know if anyone has read Game of Thrones or even heard of the Ice and Fire series, but the HBO show just began yesterday and it's brilliant so far. A little raunchy at points, but if you're 18+ it's a perfectly enjoyable show. If anyone's a fan of the books, it's fabulous and I highly recommend it :) <3 #Post#: 28-------------------------------------------------- Re: Books of Past, Present and Future <3 By: QuidnamInferorum Date: April 18, 2011, 8:19 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I've heard only great things about the show, but I didn't know it was based off a book series. I'd love to know your thoughts on the book-to-show transition as the series goes on. #Post#: 55-------------------------------------------------- Re: Books of Past, Present and Future <3 By: Gizlam Date: April 19, 2011, 6:54 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I have personally seen/read neither the book or the show (Infact hadn't heard of it until a few days ago) but I have only heard good things. And stuff about it being a little saucy! Haha! I watched it for the first time last week and... yeah. Stopping here. *****************************************************
