By: Zipcode Date: January 6, 2013, 6:56 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I know that the G&P Mk46 is probably one of the best Support weapons but i would want one a little bit more cheaper in price and one that i could rely on you guys got any thoughts #Post#: 6594-------------------------------------------------- Re: G&P Mk46 or ...... By: Fire Cracker Date: January 6, 2013, 7:07 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Well, the Classic army line up is a good choice for support weapons, though they're right around the same price range. With either, you dont need much more than a little shimming adjustment in the gearbox and regular upkeeping. With A&K or Echo 1 set ups, you'll be throwing a lot more parts in more commonly (Which is something to expect in a squad automatic weapon). But, if I were to make a different recommendation, I'd say pick up something like a CYMA RPK (Stay away from the Echo 1, it's the same thing + Ugly trademarks and much higher price) which has beautiful performance and a strong V3 gearbox, also a lot lighter than an mk46. Other than that, you can do a cheap build out of a g36- Buy a JG long barreled G36k (Bipod version is the best idea) and a C-mag. Baddabingbaddaboom, you have a strong and great base for a support weapon for under 200$. Other than that, you can buy a JG AUG and buy the Hexagon HBAR kit from a few sites over seas (Can't remember the names currently) for around 300$, though AUG trigger mechs break a lot. ICS Galil ARM's are also considered automatic weapons, but mags are hard to come by. Some say it takes AK mags, some say it doesn't. It's a great gun either way. Lemme know if you have any questions! #Post#: 6611-------------------------------------------------- Re: G&P Mk46 or ...... By: JUDGE Date: January 7, 2013, 12:35 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I would try to find A support weapons with a V3 Gearbox so the cold would not be an issue. #Post#: 6623-------------------------------------------------- Re: G&P Mk46 or ...... By: Zipcode Date: January 7, 2013, 5:31 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Yeah you guys are right i think the V3 is the way. I would want to use it in the winter and actually last then something that might break in a V2. Thanks for the comments guys. #Post#: 6627-------------------------------------------------- Re: G&P Mk46 or ...... I wanted it to perform at a higher level than my stock set up allowed me to. If you know how to upgrade it you will be fine. I would get a classic army SAW or even a A&K m60. A&K makes a great m60 from what I hear.
I would try to find A support weapons with a V3 Gearbox so the cold would not be an issue.
v10 is a gosh darn beast dude. I would put it up to any v3. #Post#: 6634-------------------------------------------------- Re: G&P Mk46 or ...... By: spetz Date: January 7, 2013, 7:33 pm --------------------------------------------------------- V10 or V3 will be fine for winter play and that covers every SAW I'm aware of. #Post#: 6677-------------------------------------------------- Re: G&P Mk46 or ...... By: Deamon Date: January 10, 2013, 11:05 pm --------------------------------------------------------- get a Cyma RPK Cyma is very reliable it may not be top of the line but ive had my thompson going on 5 years now never had a problem with her as long as you dont mess with the gear box too much she'll last. *****************************************************
