By: Chappie Date: February 20, 2015, 10:29 pm --------------------------------------------------------- So this winter has been an absolute DRAG... Have you guys been doing anything to stay in shape? If so, what have to you been doing? I personally have been going to the gym (planet fitness) whenever possible. But I also bring a few weights with me to work to use during downtime. But I also do push ups and sit ups if it's quiet enough. Which it usually is. #Post#: 7576-------------------------------------------------- Re: Staying fit? By: spetz Date: February 20, 2015, 11:36 pm --------------------------------------------------------- I run and weight/body weight train three days a week, then try to get some quick HIIT sessions in on off days. #Post#: 7577-------------------------------------------------- Re: Staying fit? By: Chappie Date: February 22, 2015, 2:18 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Kendall has been doing HIITs almost daily. Next week I am ordering insanity 30 which she and I are going to start doing. I'm pretty pumped to start it. I would consider myself pretty fit, but I have heard people who are more fit than I am who can barely handle insanity. So we'll see. What have other people been doing? #Post#: 7578-------------------------------------------------- Re: Staying fit? By: spetz Date: February 22, 2015, 5:03 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Be ready for a much larger food bill. I was talking to a guy who did that and he doubled his caloric intake. #Post#: 7586-------------------------------------------------- Re: Staying fit? By: JUDGE Date: March 1, 2015, 10:27 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Weight training 6-10 times with sessions of 1-2 hours each during the average school week. I had weight training for an elective for half the year, and now I go to the weight room whenever I get the chance on my own time. This is a pretty good improvement for a guy who was only able to bench 96lbs and run for only 30 seconds before getting extremely winded at the beginning of this school year in September. Plus I wanted to start getting in shape for college and the police academy in the near future. I also started drinking V8 which helps boost your vitamin levels majorly. Plus seeing that one A**hole in the locker room who's the most out of shape guy in the entire school still wearing tighty whiteys makes me feel so much better about myself hahaha. Bench Press - 192lbs( 2 reps of 8 ) Leg Press - 450lbs ( 4 reps of 5 ) Leg Extension - 180lbs ( 2 reps of 5 ) Leg Curl - 110lbs ( 2 reps of 5 ) Shoulder Press - 108lbs ( 2 reps of 5 ) Wide Grip Pull Down - 130lbs ( 2 reps of 5 ) Rowing - 150lbs ( 2 reps of 8 ) Trap lifts - 90lbs ( 2 reps of 10 ) Squat - 230lbs ( 2 reps of 2 ) Spread Eagle pull downs - 70lbs on each arm ( 2 reps of 10 ) Spread Eagle pull down and hold - 100lbs on each arm for one minute Tredmill- Sprint for 1:30 and then jog for 5:00 for a cool down Flutter Kicks - ( 2 reps of 20 ) Leg Raises - ( 2 reps of 20 ) Medicine Ball Side Throws - ( 2 reps of 20 ) Crunches - 50 in one minute Push ups - 15-20 in 30 seconds Punching Bag - different combinations for 10-15 minutes #Post#: 7589-------------------------------------------------- Re: Staying fit?
