Only one BB is to be projected with each pull of the trigger. However, we’re making an exception to this rule for replicas of guns that were designed to fire in full-auto during World War II such as a Beretta Modello 38, Breda M37, Browning, FG 42, Lewis gun, M3 grease gun, MG 34, MG 36, MG 42, MP 40, MP 41, Nambu Type 100, PPD-40, PPSh-41, STEN, Sterling submachine gun, StG 44, Thompson submachine gun, or ZB vzor 26. If you own a replica that you feel should be added to this list, please contact me. FRS/GMRS Two-way Radio Channels Channel 1 is reserved for the Allied command network. Odd-numbered channels 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13 may be used by Allied squads as directed by their commanders. German personnel may monitor the odd-numbered channels but aren’t permitted to transmit on them. Channel 2 is reserved for the German command network. Even-numbered channels 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 may be used by German squads as directed by their commanders. Allied personnel may monitor the even-numbered channels but aren’t permitted to transmit on them. Channels 15 and above are forbidden because of frequency bleed. Channel jamming of any kind is prohibited. FM Radios Players are encouraged to bring portable FM radios onto the field that are set to 88.1 MHz. This operation will feature immersive news reports transmitted from a small moderator-controlled radio station. Opening Ceremony 11:45—12:00 The Allies will be presented with seven Union Jack flags that are to be used to capture control sites during Phase 1. Eisenhower’s Order of the Day will be read to the Allies. Phase 1 12:00—14:00 D-Day will unleash with a concentrated firefight on the easternmost section of the field. The Germans will be dug in and own all seven of the control sites at the start. In a simulated beach landing, the Allies will push for territory. In 30-minute intervals, the control sites will be scored by the moderators, the Allied respawn pole will be advanced to a predetermined location, and the German respawn pole will be withdrawn simultaneously. You can capture a control site by throwing your enemy’s flag on the ground and replacing it with your own. Ten points will be awarded for each control site that a faction owns during the scoring times (12:30, 13:00, 13:30, and 14:00). There’s no limit to the number of times a control site can be recaptured. You’re not allowed to steal or hide your enemy’s flags. On-field Lunch Break 14:00—15:00 The lunches will be distributed by each faction’s commanders at 14:15. Allied lunches will be served at South Bridge, and German lunches will be served just north of Pallet Base. Phase 2 15:00—16:00 Allies start at their new headquarters at South Bridge. Germans start at their HQ located just north of Pallet Base. Players will earn points for their factions by locating and delivering valuable objects on foot to their respective HQs. These objects will vary in size, weight, and point value, but each will be clearly labeled: An object must be placed beneath an HQ tent to score points. Once there, it may not be removed or stolen. Points will be awarded at 16:00. During Phase 2, players may also earn points by capturing and holding the control sites located southeast of the logger’s area, at the sharp bend in the main trail between Alpha and Gully Base, and at Wolves’ Den. These three control sites are captured electronically: http://youtu.be/-6L2NZsCeVk Please remember to hold the toggle switch gently for 3 seconds until you hear the beep. If the green flag is raised, the digital timer after the "G" will start counting to give points to the green faction. If the tan (yellow) flag is raised, the digital timer after the "T" will start counting to give points to the tan faction. If you push the toggle switch toward the color that's already raised, it’ll just beep at you. If the device isn't working properly, please call for a game moderator. But, don't ever touch the little flags or their wires. Yellow is for Allies, and green is for Germans. One point will be awarded for each minute a faction accumulates between 15:00 and 16:00. Allied respawn poles will be located at their HQ tent, the Compound, and Bravo. German respawn poles will be located at their HQ tent, Gully Base, and Alpha. No poles will be moved during Phase 2. Please tread carefully and remember that your enemies are invincible whenever they’re physically touching one of their own respawn poles. Phase 3 16:00—17:00 The German war machine is marching! Deutschland über alles!! Oberstleutnant Omego has been relieved of duty and replaced by Obersturmbannführer Totenkopf of the Waffen-SS: This dreaded juggernaut is invincible to conventional weapons and has the ability to destroy its enemy’s respawn poles. It can only be taken out with a combination of special weapons and the strength of an opposing juggernaut. Totenkopf will lead the entire German Zug in a brutal counteroffensive against the Allies along the main trail starting at the German HQ and ending in a furious battle at South Bridge. Allied fighters are encouraged to defend their hard-fought positions along the trail in order to slow down this menace, but they’ll ultimately need to return to their HQ at South Bridge to dig in for the final showdown! The scores will be calculated during Phase 3 and the winning faction announced promptly at endex. Simplicity These rules are designed to be simple so that participants can focus more on the gameplay itself. There are no mag restrictions, no required squad cohesion, no bleedout times, no medics, and no bandages. Our Commitment to You Since taking over airsoft operations at Harris Field in 2013, the other volunteer field manager and I have never canceled or postponed a publicly announced event because of unfavorable weather or any other reason. We are fully committed to following through with everything we advertise. Your opinions and improvement ideas are valuable to us, so please share your thoughts. *****************************************************
