Once again, this operation is so big that we’re spreading it out
over two consecutive Saturdays. We’ll adjust which components
take place on which day based on that day’s turnout, weather,
player preferences, and faction achievements. Please attend
both Saturdays to get the most out of this event. But, if you
can only attend one Saturday, you’ll still fit in and have an
amazing time!

Semi-Auto Only
Full-automatic and burst-mode firing are prohibited at this
event. Only one BB is to be projected with each pull of the
trigger. However, an exception to this rule is made for
designated machine guns which must be big, heavy, and grounded
as described
[URL=
HTML http://maineairsoft.org/showthread.php?9353-Designated-Machine-Guns&p=79454&viewfull=1#post79454]HERE.
One Hit = Elimination
If you, your gun, anything you’re holding, or anything worn on
your body are struck by a BB, a boffer, or a stealth-hit
(knife-kill), then you’re immediately considered to be
eliminated from play.
Hit Acknowledgement
After being hit, you’re expected to loudly call Hit, hit, hit!
as you wave your red rag a couple times and place it on your
head. You want your attacker to know that she/he eliminated you
so that you will no longer be targeted for more hits.
Close-range hits don’t require such loud acknowledgements.
Stealth-hits are to be acknowledged silently by simply putting
on the red rag without saying hit or anything else. Theatrical
casualties are encouraged because they add to the immersion.
Restrictions
You may not shoot at or attempt to eliminate anyone else while
you’re in an eliminated state. You may not communicate with live
players or use radios other than to announce that you’ve been
hit or to request the use of a med kit to respawn. However, you
may speak to other eliminated players about anything as long as
it’s spoken quietly enough to where no live players will
overhear the conversation. Any game props that are larger/longer
than a softball must be dropped when you are hit, but please
keep your own/borrowed guns/gear with you at all times. The med
kit allows an exception to this rule because it’s designed to be
carried at all times by anyone without regard to his/her hit
status.
Med Kit Respawn
After donning your red rag, you may immediately get up and move
to locate the nearest friendly-owned med kit. Avoid going near
enemies and their control sites because you don’t want to be
accused of cheating by performing reconnaissance as an
eliminated player. Hits that you receive while eliminated don’t
count and shouldn’t delay your respawn in any way.
Acquire a med kit from a friendly player who is ready to hand it
off to you. You may need to wait your turn behind other players
who are ahead of you in line to use it. Activate the med kit by
pressing the silver button:
[URL=
HTML https://youtu.be/CP-ijBbEjUQ]https://youtu.be/CP-ijBbEjUQ
Follow the instructions on the recording which will authorize
you to respawn within a few minutes. Only the one player who
pressed the button will be respawned at the end of the
recording. Other hit players in the area will have to wait their
turn to press the button. After you respawn, hand the med kit
off to the next friendly player in line to use it. If no one is
waiting, carry it with you back into combat.
Med kits may not be forcibly taken away from the player
who is carrying it even if that player is hit/red-ragged.
Likewise, don’t chase down an opponent who’s trying to get away
from you to respawn unless she/he is moving toward your
objective. Avoid dropping your squad’s med kit. Abandoned med
kits may be seized and utilized by an opposing faction for the
rest of the day. Any med kit that fails to emit a complete
audible recording may not be used for respawn regardless
of what caused the malfunction; therefore, handle the kits
gently.
Each NATO and USSR command tent will have a stationary med kit
that will generate almost instant respawns for their respective
players and current allies with each touch of the button,
thereby, creating a nearly impenetrable defense. These
permanently affixed med kits may not be stolen or
activated by their enemies.
Field Insertion
Prior to each Saturday’s startex, players are encouraged to
enter the field with enough equipment and supplies to meet their
needs for the entire day. On April 23 (Part 1) at 11:30, NATO
players will follow their leaders to their command tent located
near South Bridge, and USSR players will report to their command
tent located near the first field entrance:

map layer.
After arriving at their respective command tents, players will
receive insertion instructions from their commanders. For Part
2 (April 30), the command tents could have new locations.
Fusion Orbs and Scoring
The USSR and NATO are competing with each other to secure the
most cold-fusion orbs into their respective vaults:
HTML http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag327/OmegoAirsoft/vault_zpsnyb46msy.png[/img]

unless you’re instructed to do so by written order from a

/>moderator. Fusion orbs may be acquired by holding contr
ol
sites, scavenging, and successfully completing special missions.
The faction with the most orbs in their treasury at endex will
be declared the winner.
Reminder: Players are never required to hand over their
fusion orbs even after being hit. Any game item that’s
smaller than a softball may be pocketed.
Control Sites
Throughout the operation, NATO and USSR forces may fight each
other for the control of seven sites:
HTML http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag327/OmegoAirsoft/Control%20Site%20Map_zpsl2hmwzzb.png[/img]
You can capture a control site by throwing your enemy’s flag on
the ground and replacing it with your own:
[URL=
HTML https://youtu.be/w7j-t8M2c0k]https://youtu.be/w7j-t8M2c0k
There’s no limit to the number of times that the flags may be
switched on a control site, but you’re not allowed to steal or
hide the flags.
The Bank of Latgalia will release orbs to the factions based on
the sites that they control on the hour. Each site will be
scored within five minutes of 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, and 16:00 on
each game day. The different orb values of each site will be
revealed to the faction commanders prior to each day's startex.
On-Field Lunch
You are strongly encouraged to remain on the battlefield
throughout the entirety of each game day. We won’t have a pausex
for lunch; therefore, you're expected to eat on the field during
combat operations. You may eat uninterrupted with your red-rag
on. An on-field lunch will be prepared for you if you sign up
on the

distribution of these lunches will take place around the middle
of each Saturday’s scenario and has been incorporated into the
plot.

Channels 15 and above are forbidden because of frequency bleed.

Radio Latgalia
Players are encouraged to bring portable FM radios onto the
field that are set to 88.1 MHz. This operation will feature
immersive news reports transmitted from a real radio station!
Embedded Moderators
Each squad will have an embedded moderator who will be
responsible for upholding the safety and integrity of his/her
squad so that the operation will run smoothly. Moderator duties
are listed
