30th to 31st AUGUST - KIT CAR FESTIVAL (LINCOLN KIT & SPORTS
CAR SHOW)

This first post of this topic will be updated as and when
information is received or becomes available.
DATE: 30th to 31st August
VENUE: Lincoln Showground (previously held at Newark
Showground)
STATUS: Provisional
DESCRIPTION: Static display plus dynamic activities on our own
grass arena
JURISDICTION: NORA permit
EVENT SUPPORT ROLES:
Event Lead – Ian Fletcher
Clerk of Course –
Deputy Clerks of Course – Jim Rawnsley
Event Secretary –
Marshals/Timekeeper –
Medical - Provided by venue
EVENT REGULATIONS: “To be issued”
COSTS: To be confirmed. Entry and camping at showground likely
to be free for the first driver of a cyclekart. Standard fee
for passengers and camping. CKGB fee likely to be around £10 to
£15 for drivers and less for additional drivers.
OTHER COMMENTS: For 2025, the venue and name of the show has
changed. Camping available on site. The Lincoln showground
campsite and exhibition halls are supposed to be better than
Newark.

Please can you give an early indication of entering by posting a
% probability of entry, which will allow the club to finalise
the entry fees.
Please can you also indicate if you can fill any of the event
support roles.

Over the weekend, it was confirmed that this years show will be
at Lincoln showground and not Newark showground. The title of
the show has also changed from "Newark Kit Car Festival" to the
"Lincoln Kit and Sports Car Show". The camping and show
facilities at Lincoln are believed to be superior to those at
Newark. The show prices are expected to be confirmed by mid
February.
