Club Membership
We have now established our club 'Cyclekarts GB'. Our aim is to
promote the growth of the CycleKarts hobby in the UK going
forward in a light-hearted and safe manner, and we are welcoming
new members. As a member you will be eligible to enter your
cyclekart into club run events, and other events to which the
club is invited, you will continue to get access to our growing
knowledge bank via the forum and be invited to the Annual
General meeting, where you will be able to cast your vote and
have your say on the future of the club. In the fullness of
time we aim to offer the benefit of public liability insurance,
club logbooks and limited production parts and all sorts of
wondrous things yet to be conceived!
We anticipate that full membership for next year (our first full
year Jan - Dec 2023) will be in the region of £40, but for 2022
subscription will be the reduced amount of £30.
We are offering 2 levels of annual membership as follows:
Full Membership - As a full member you will be eligible to
enter your cyclekart into club run events, and other events to
which the club is invited. £30
Associate Membership - For anyone who is not a full member
but is actively participating (driving, mechanic, marshalling)
in CKGB events. £20

Hi, would it be possible to have a list of full club members and
associate members. I and others are interested.

Will have to have a think about that - you know GDPR and all
that. Might be possible but need to have a think.
However, you may have noticed that we've done some work on the
forum and cleared out some of the old default "badges" that the
system gave people for posting a lot. We now have two badges -
one to show someone is a CKGB member and one to show someone is
on the CKGB committee.
You can see a list of forum users who are CKGB members by
searching the Forum members list - this link should give you the
current list:

your inbox hidden amongst all those last minute Christmas
shopping offers!
There's a great year of events ahead for members and of course
you'll be part of growing cyclekarting in GB

The 2024 Cyclekart season is coming to an end and the planning
for next season is in full swing.
Current CKGB memberships will expire at the end of December
2024, unless started this year after the 1st November, and
renewals will be due for the 2025 season.
This year, the committee has frozen the cost of membership for
the 2025 season and full membership remains at £35 with
associate membership at £20 for the year 2025.
The forms below can be used for new memberships (no membership
number required) and renewals.
I urge members new and old to pay by bank transfer where this is
at all possible as my local bank branch has now closed its doors
and the banking hub we have is both slow and not open every day.
This has resulted in a 24 mile round trip to the bank for me to
cash a cheque. If you need to send payment by cheque, it may
take me some time to process these and renew/start your
membership. Remember to make sure that you mark payment via bank
transfer so we can identify what it is for and who you are.
Please return the form via email or post - see form for details.
Membership cannot be renewed without a current (2025) year form.

downloaded here in a writable PDF format (scroll to the
bottom)...

To clarify the bit above about needing a current year form, we
need to keep this for the GDPR regulations as it gives us
consent to keep basic records digitally. If your details remain
unchanged on renewal, just write "unchanged" or leave the field
blank. As long as I have your name, payment and consent on the
form I can process. A membership number helps

I have had a few rogue payments to our account for which I have
had no form to process. If your membership form is not
submitted, I cannot process your renewal as the form constitutes
consent for CKGB to hold data under the GDPR regulations. If you
have submitted payment without a form, please return the form to
me as soon as is possible to ensure that I can process your
renewal. (Return address on the form or email)
