There was a Man walking with a couple of large cat like
things... i don't know exactly what they are but they were
awesome

her, She wondered exactly what these "cat like things" were.
"Can you describe them more, these animals? ..and the man, what
did he look like? Surely a man who walks such beasts is
interesting himself."

Maybe but the Cats had my attention . . . they were a kind
oranges gold.... with Big black stripes their paws were like the
size of my head

"Oh!...sounds like tigers. I wish I knew where he was going with
them, perhaps we could go and see them. They are beautiful, but
they are also deadly." She was not sure how she knew that, but
she was certain of it. She had hoped Sarah had noticed the man
better, it could have given her a clue to where she could find
them.
She had a thought and her eyes lit up, "When I was looking for
the lyre I saw an animal dealer. I do not know if he has tigers,
but when we go to the bazaar we can stop by there and see what
he has!"

She laughed, "We cannot go now. I talked with your mother and
she is going to send one of the men along to protect us so we
had to plan it on a day off. But we will go...and hopefully find
tigers." She shook her head, still half-laughing, "And I will
see if I can find out more about the man with the tigers between
now and then. With a little luck I could find him and see if
they are tame enough for a young tiger enthusiast to meet."

She laughed again at the girls excitement. "Well I don't know
how the owner would feel about that, or the other girls, or the
customers." She raised an eyebrow questioningly, "And what do
you suggest we feed such a huge beast? Bad customers?...they are
big animals..big cats specifically...they eat a lot of meat ..a
lot ...daily. I do not think we are wealthy enough to buy a cow
a day to feed such a beast."
Her eyes lit up, "However...if some certain songbird became a
famous singer.....perhaps she would become wealthy enough to
have a pet tiger..."

"I am glad you are happy as things are, but you never know what
fate has in store for you."She leaned to nudge Sarah's shoulder
with her own,"and singing for a tiger sounds better than singing
for your supper." She giggled, "Although I guess once you had a
tiger you would have to sing for it's supper..." He let the
thought trail off.
"But for now, we sing for the joy of singing! So tell me, did
you find any new songs?"
