Seeking out Natalia.

Mannix left the underground as he finished he work and looked
around. He wasn't quite ready to go home and he had a mission
for this night. He walked over to the Palace complex proper,. He
wished to see a particular autocrator, in other words, Natalia.
He was curious about the archer. Okay, he was actually
frightened to death about the archer. Not about his own life,
but the idea of someone moving around the city and killing
supernaturals and humans alike for some unknown reason worried
him. His huse and the homes of his friends seem to attract
weirdness like honey attracted wasps. He went to where he knew
her to take office, and hoped she would be there. One could
hope.

with eyes of fire let him in but he could see her free hand
behind her back under the cloak she wore. As he entered there
was books and maps scroll all laid out in order upon a long
table. She looked up from her desk which was a large solid
looking one*

Scion of the three, not something he was called often. Sometimes
he even forgot that fact.
"Lady Natalia, I am sure you have done nothing so heinous to
deserve such attention. You are just unlucky that way. I came to
ask if I might be of use in the hunting down of the Archer. It
appears you could use someone practiced in the librarian arts."

The lightest tinge of a smile lit the tips of his lips as he
replied. She kept gave him opportunities to flirt but he kept
them to himself.
"Besides scion of the three and being a terrible flirt? I am not
sure I bring anything you dont have. While I have a good eye for
detail and can protect myself and pass easily in town without
being known for being a guard or connected to such, you no doubt
have several people that can do the same or better. Still, I
seemto have been at the scene of the crime at least twice
already. And I am willing."

He thought for a moment, weighing his words.
"I am not ready to become a guardsman and I do not wish to
disappear completely. But I am willing to go to fairly great
lengths to help."

Are you willing to maybe take an arrow since apparently you have
been around more than anyone else when the Archer struck?

He had expected this question.
"I am, though I realize I would die if it hit most likely. Maybe
I have a chance to surviving. So many times the arrow has been
close and passed me by."
Personally he wondered if he was inconsequential or there was
another reason.
