Everyday he taught Petra more, readng and writing but also how to speak beter and how to do little things. He started working on an idea for a new book. He was still looking for inspiration and in the meantime sketched for an hour or so every day, drawing the things he saw, the people, the city. He worked, not just to keep up, but to develop other styles, try new things, become more than he already was. He was also working on becoming more in other ways. He knew there were ways to tell more about a person than he could see easily. So as he walked and saw the city, he would stop and draw, or drink something for show and cncentrate of random people, looking at them and using blood. It was so close. Sometimes he almost could swear he saw something. But he would not be discouraged. He would figure this out. He also had started to work harder on his sword work. Not just on beng better but faster. Each time he struck the wood post, he thought faster, faster. each time lunging forward or moving just a little faster. Just to work on it, he did a few art pieces that way too, trying to use his blood powered gift to draw and pain faster, to create faster. His walks had been good and he started to talk to the merchants in the area, asking them for tidbits, sharing stories, trying to make them feel at home with him(even if he had to use his presence to do so.) Hopefully he could soon depend on them to bring his rumors and news from around the city. There was still so much to do. But he had only been back a little while. *****************************************************
