By: Mannix Date: March 17, 2018, 10:17 am --------------------------------------------------------- Mannix was there as he was for every appointment. He watched the city as he waited thinking about what he knew of Cassius. They had spoken several times now but it seemed he really didn't know much about the man. He was good at talking about things without saying anything. Not that Mannix minded, it was good for any politician to learn. Or vampire. But he wondered what the mans real interests were. He had never even asked to look at Mannix collection and had turned down the three books he brought as recompense, He brought a lovely book of divine poetry from song of Solomon tonight. It was nearly pornographic with the illustrations. This was a rare book for him to illustrate but fun and really worth more than a little He had good offers for it or a copy, if he took the time to make another one. Unfortunately he hated doing a book twice and it wasn't as popular without his illustrations As good as his scribes were, they just didn't copy his artwork as well as the originals. He waited and watched. #Post#: 1422-------------------------------------------------- Re: Sumarian lessons two. By: Mannix Date: March 17, 2018, 1:50 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Mannix smiled at the man. "Largely uneventful. Nothing new or unexpected. I hope your week has gone well? I am looking at teaching myself a nother language. I was thinking ancient egyptian. I was hoping to talk to you later about what languages you believe every scribe and researcher should know. Oh, I brought a book to offer you as payment. If you wish to look at it." He offered the man the book to examine.. #Post#: 1488-------------------------------------------------- Re: Sumarian lessons two.
