Mannix shivered at the kiss. He turned.. to see no one. He
turned around and looked at his work.
"As you say."
He went back to his work. But he found himself having trouble
concentrating. Finally he had to close his eyes and clear his
mind. When he opened them, he concentrated on nothing but the
work before him.

Mannix finished and once again he went over his time. It was a
habit with him. When creating art time flowed very quickly for
him and he rarely noticed. He looked at the drawing he had done
and then back to the body, judging his work. It was good though
he was unsure of the one vein. In his drawing it stood out where
in the body it belnded more. He made a note on the edge of the
work and set it down. Mannix set down the work and looked around
to see where Lady Alexi was.

He wandered, his auspex up to he could see better as well as
hear.

Of course the dead can tell us so much about life. . .this poor
girl lived a pleasing life she enjoyed it to the fullest and was
struck down by a cowardly person
*sitting in a tray next to the body was several glistening items
they were small so was unclear exactly they were*
Had many years ahead but now she is in the land of the dead

Mannix listened carefully to everything she said and kept his
eyes open as well. He really did have an enquiring type of mind,
curious about the world around him.
"I feel for her. It is sad that her joy was cut short like that.
What was her name, How was she killed and what are those things
in the bowl?"

She was a girl who worked servicing men and women. She was good
at her job she says

Mannix nodded and then frowned as he thought about it.
"She was killed by diamonds? Or were they on the weapon used or
in her for another reason? Poor thing. Does she remember her
name?"
He loked closer, making sure she wasn't one of the ones his
father frequented.
