Ahead of the team news press conference Ajax Amsterdam announced
that caretaker manager Mark Reed had accepted the role on a
permanent basis having impressed so much this season, Borussia
Dortmund have accepted his resignation and will see him continue
as caretaker until a permanent manager is appointed.

we are not doing very well at the moment we must do better so i
will rotate my team around and try a different tactic and
hopefully we can get the 3 points

Atletico_Madrid - Liverpool
A familiar foe in rival manager Raingod. Expecting a difficult
match but Liverpool are without Mo Salah and Atleti have been
playing well as of late. We'll see how we go.

Valencia_CF - Olympique_Marseille
Third time facing Valencia this term. We've played well on the
last two but it does not make them any less of an opponent.
Valencia are in a good way and seemed to have solidified their
top 11. Marseille are missing 21 year old fullback Muldur due
to suspension but other than that we have a full squad to choose
from. Will Marseille stick with the tactics that have worked so
well against Valencia or switch it up to try and catch them off
balance?

Valencia - Olympique Marseille
We have a full strength squad to choose from for the first time
in a number of weeks which sees key defender Paulista return.
We're up against our bogey team on what is a really tough
fixture but hopefully home advantage will give us the edge. The
team has been practising different formations this week which
may also see a change in tactics to perhaps spring a surprise or
two.

Can Liverpool bounce back from their defeat on penalties to Ajax
in the cup midweek, and without their striking talisman Salah?
They travel to a Madrid team on good form, and Raingod v Chris S
in EFLO is currently 0-1 to Chris - when Marseille beat
Atalanta in the cup .. can we get revenge?
Luckily, new 18 year old starlet Clarkson has been registered
and will straight in to the XI in a 442 line up.. the first time
Liverpool have lined up with only 2 strikers ...

On paper a straightforward game - but PSV are struggling to stay
in the league so will be up for a battle.
We will continue our expansive style that has been successful so
far this season ...

Ajax vs Lyon
Having been enticed to signing a permanent contact with Ajax,
Mark Reed moved quickly to encourage Lucas Moura to do the same
thing. The on loan forward has scored 12 goals so far this
season and so £95m was paid to convert the loan deal from Spurs.
The mid week cup victory over runaway Elite division leaders
Liverpool kept the unbeaten record going.
Back to the league this week and the dilemma is still what is
the best formation and line up, the debate likely to delay the
team submission until the last minute!

PSG v inter
Despite last weeks poor performance and result, Matt Harrison is
looking at tweaking the side rather than making wholesale
changes. The focus remains determinedly long term, despite PSG
dropping into a relegation spot, although whether the fans
accept that and follow his vision is yet to be seen. The beast
Makutungu is suspended, which could pave the way for a return
for Meunier, who hasn’t started since his own disciplinary
problems saw him sent off in week 3. Apart from that, the same
players are likely to start, even if the formation is different.
