However, a win today and the third place remains a possibility. It's a stretched squad that prepares for the game as Matt Harrison moved on a bunch of squad players on deadline day to generate cash for next season. It's all part of the grand plan, but it's not without risks and he's hoping for no injuries or suspensions between now and the end of the season. #Post#: 1892-------------------------------------------------- Re: Pre-Matchday 15 - All leagues By: Chris S Date: October 16, 2020, 8:08 am --------------------------------------------------------- Leicester_City - Olympique_Marseille Marseille travel to Englad to take on Leicester. We are motivated to return to winning ways after a loss and draw in our previous two matches. Thauvin is back meaning full squad selection available. Certainly felt the absence the of Thauvin last week, the squad is strong through the middle but we're a little thin on players who fit our system that can play on the left or right, that will be address EOS. #Post#: 1893-------------------------------------------------- Re: Pre-Matchday 15 - All leagues By: Chris S Date: October 16, 2020, 8:14 am --------------------------------------------------------- Paris St.Germain - Atletico_Madrid Tricky match for Atleti as we head to the French capital. PSG are looking to move toward the top 3 while we are focused on keeping pace with Liverpool and Juventus. We've been in great form lately coming off a couple of major victories, hopefully we can keep it going and not succumb to the pressure. No easy fixtures up in the Elite division, good luck Matt. #Post#: 1894-------------------------------------------------- Re: Pre-Matchday 15 - All leagues By: Raingod Date: October 17, 2020, 2:31 am --------------------------------------------------------- Liverpool - Real_Madird After 3 matches out through injury, in which time Liverpool lost their last 2 games, Salah is thrown straight back into the starting line up to link up with Neymar for the first time. Clarkson drops to the bench as our favoured 433 formation returns. Real beat us 3-0 last time out, and although StevieT left before I had the chance to avenge it, we must focus on getting the 3 points today against an unmanaged side. #Post#: 1895-------------------------------------------------- Re: Pre-Matchday 15 - All leagues By: Raingod Date: October 17, 2020, 2:46 am --------------------------------------------------------- Atalanta_BC - VfL_Wolfsburg After 1st league defeat of the season, Raingod opts to play 3 up front for the 1st time. With new youngster Nuwedorp looking in blistering form in training, and the experienced poachers of Gomez and Ilcic, it was time to change things around after playing with a stable 352 line up all season. Jota and Barkeley drop to the bench. On paper this is a banker home win, but the team know after last week there is no such thing ... #Post#: 1896-------------------------------------------------- Re: Pre-Matchday 15 - All leagues By: guest13 Date: October 17, 2020, 10:21 am --------------------------------------------------------- Bayern Munich v Juventus We are getting to the business end of the season now where the games hold just that little bit more significance each week. Next up for us we travel to Munich to face the Mighty Bayern, who despite come into the game in poor form, are a quality side with players who can hurt any team. We are at full strength though there are one or two tactical decisions still to be decided ahead of the game. #Post#: 1897-------------------------------------------------- Re: Pre-Matchday 15 - All leagues By: guest13 Date: October 17, 2020, 10:24 am --------------------------------------------------------- RB Leipzig v PSV Eindhoven It is squeaky bum time of the season as after the last round of games, we sit just one point behind Atalanta who have let us back into the title race. However, we must overcome a PSV side who have not pulled up any tree's so far this season but are dangerous on there day. Tyler Adams is still our through injury which is a blow but should be back for the final three games of the season, otherwise we are at full strength. #Post#: 1898-------------------------------------------------- Re: Pre-Matchday 15 - All leagues By: Warthog Date: October 17, 2020, 2:28 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Tottenham v Valencia Valencia are all set for the guaranteed defeat this week just hoping to put on a good show. As the only league team to give them a run for their money this season in the home fixture when we were robbed of the victory after on loan keeper Gazzaniga threw the game against his parent club. He has long departed unsurprisingly. The only player out is key striker Gotze meaning a change of formation, which is likely to make little difference to the outcome of the game. If we can keep it below double figures then we'll have done well. *****************************************************
