Valencia - Sporting Lisbon
Final game of the season sees us with nothing to play for other
than an opportunity to relegate Sporting. With the pressure off
hopefully we can finish on a high and give ourselves confidence
going in to the new season when we must have a chance to build
on our league trophy success. A fully fit squad to choose from
means we'll go all out for a great victory rather than rest and
play fringe players.

Ajax remain unchanged for the final match of the season away to
Benfica. The subs bench featuring four 17 year olds with bright
futures. Ajax will be lifting the Adidas League trophy at the
end of the match having secured the title some weeks ago. But
the motivation of trying to conclude the season undefeated has
kept the performances sharp.

Paris St.Germain - Liverpool
So it all comes down to tonight .. the maths are simple, it is
out of our hands ...
if Atletico win, there is nothing we can do
if they fail to win and we win, the title is ours
if we fail to win, we hand the title to them!
Runners up is secured, but having led the table most of the
season, it would feel like a disappointment if we do not finish
the job ..
Young starlet Izconil is out suspended - who will replace him in
midfield? - the defensive Fabinho? The experienced Wijnaldum ?
Youngster Clarkson? Or all-rounder Maiga?
Raingod confirms he will have an additional defender on the
bench this week as a contingency against injuries or red cards
..
As for the opposition, well a victory would send the PSG puppies
down - which if it did happen would be an inconvenience for
Matt, but not disrupt his long-term youth approach ..

Club_Brugge - Atalanta_BC
So Atalanta sit one point clear of GaryG's Leipzig - and it is
simple - win the match and we win the league.
If we dont, we need to match his result, but as they are at home
to bottom club and already relegated Alkmaar, a win is
essential.
Brugge sit 3rd from bottom and safe, but with nothing to play
for will they go into the game with confidence?
The feisty win over Leipzig last week has taken its toll with
THREE players out suspended ..
Caldara returns to the back 3 after his late goal, Gomez
replaces top scorer Ilcic, whilst Barkeley comes into the
midfield. He has spoken out in the press about his patchy form,
but said he has loved his time at Atalanta and would love to be
a part of a victory today ...
With left winger Candreva suspended, young striker Nuwesorp will
play wide left, with Gomez as the target man..

Villarreal_CF - Olympique_Marseille
With 2nd place wrapped up and a full squad to choose from, I am
looking for Marseille to return to the form we had earlier in
the season heading into the playoffs. We're still struggling to
score goals and been unable to keep a clean sheet. Reus will
return tot he starting XI after being benched in the first half
last match.

Borussia_Dortmund - Atletico_Madrid
It all comes down to this. Atleti are in the driver's seat,
let's hope the pressure is not too much for us to see this one
to the finish line. James Maddison returns after being out 4
matches with injury. Already anxious to see how this plays out
while still trying to decide on how we're going to setup
tactically. Good luck Skittles if you're still sheeting for
this match.
