Back my old wheel guys, the padels on my new wheel are not
working again:@ so ill see what the warrantee will offer.
Did some practice today and I didn't really lose time, just have
to the feel of it again.

Rolled my ankle today, so unless I can learn to play with the
controller tomorrow tomorrow, I won't be racing.

That's the worst Angry...I did that 3 days before Thanksgiving
and I couldn't walk for almost 4 days.

Q: 2nd, respectable time I supposed. Would've liked to squeak a
13 out but I'll take the 14.5.
R: 2nd, broke front wing at turn 1 cus the car just did not
brake. Came in and changed it and put primes on. Drive thru at
pit exit, was not happy. Was about to just sign off, cus I am
tired and I got a long day tomorrow, but thought I'd take
advantage of the small grid and just bring it home.
Car started coming to me before long. I was in a good rhythm and
reeling in kart/kiwi until I missed my braking point at the
chicane and sailed through it, one corner cut too many. Another
drive thru.
Served it as Gazza was getting a front wing replaced. A few laps
later I guess kart and kiwi had contact and I got past Kiwi.
Kart made a mistake a few laps later before the tunnel and I got
that place as well.
Rode by myself a while and then suddenly saw Striker coming out
the pits just ahead of me so I put a lot of pressure on him but
could not do anything about it as he was on fresh tires and I
was close to pitting. Wound up binning it at the swimming pool
complex on my in lap so I had a short trip to the pit to change
to options for the last 16 laps.
The final stint Striker and I were keeping a similar gap until I
guess he pitted for a broken wing? Just pipped him coming out of
the pits, a few laps later I guess he missed T1 and suddenly
found myself comfortably in 2nd. Was running similar pace to
Stubbs until my tires hit the cliff and the last 3 laps were
very slippy.
So glad to put this track away. This may have been my best
Monaco result ever in a league race. Could have gone a lot
worse.
On a different note, we need to seriously step back a minute and
talk about this league. These 6 - 8 car grids can't continue
guys. We need to either get some new guys in as reserves or
those that are missing races (excuses or not) need to confirm
that they're still interested. Ring up Castrol and Jon and tell
them to give it another try, because it is sad to see the
interest waning and it's making these finishing positions not
very rewarding.
