My only problem is I cant use manual gears with the controller,
I know I could learn but I just don't have the time.
The Wednesday night would work well for me too.

Macca...if I could do it, you could do it! :)
In all seriousness though, this is the first racing game i've
ever played with manual gears. I will admit that it took me a
couple of weeks to a month to get good times with manual gears
on a controller. It is much better with manual gears IMO though
because it is easier to use the gearbox as a brake to slow you
down for a turn, and after running all the tracks while learning
the manual gears, you get a good idea of which gear you should
be in for each turn.

Thanks Drew, I appreciate your confidence in me haha. I know I
COULD learn but as I said above I'm very busy at the mo. I
really want to join you guys but I will be forced to pull out if
the rules don't allow me to run auto gears. Il leave it in
Gazzas hands.... let me know buddy.

Hey Cam as we all agreed last night auto gears are fine, i dont
think anyone gains an advantage by which gearbox they use, if
anything i think manual does, so i will change it in the rules.

We might kick off the season on the 5th october with the new
game, this gives everyone 11 days to get a handle on the changes
in the new game. let me know what you think.

Sounds good to me Gaz. I will look forward to this, I just hope
we get a good bunch of guys. I think the core group of us that
race are very very fair racers. OK we have the odd hiccup like
last night (Canada) but generally we have some bloody good
races.
Really looking forward to the new game............ safety
car!!!!!!!!!!!
Going to be interesting to see how it is implemented online aye.
