Rules

Before starting a topic, please keep in mind of the golden rule:
Treat others as you would like to be treated. We know that as a
community, there are a lot of people you are going to be
interacting with and not everyone sees eye to eye on opinions,
ideas and views. We ask that you keep an open mind when talking
to others and honestly, if you have nothing nice to say, it'll
be best to not say anything at all.
A couple of additional rules to keep in mind are:

[li]No spamming forums; either to up your post count or just be
a menace, refrain from making posts that are considered spam. If
you want to know what is considered spam, these are posts either
a) have subjects that have nothing to do with the original
thread, or b) sprout nonsensical words or phrases. Spamming IS
okay in designated threads such as (random thread, or game
thread designated to hold spamming posts).[/li]
[li]Forum threads must be created with the proper
capitalization. Please do not make threads that are all lower
case, or CAPS LOCK. Caps lock is fine IN threads as see fit
(unless spamming).[/li]
[li]Inappropriate language is permitted! Unless someone asks
you to stop. It will be left to the discrepancy of the staff to
decide how to handle the situation. Although cursing is not
really tasteful, just keep in mind to use it respectfully and
not towards one another in a harmful way.[/li]
[li]Do not flame the staff or any member of the community! Much
like how flaming is not permitted on the Fosff website, flaming
a person directly is a no-no![/li]
[/list]Rules are as follows and can be amended at any point that
sees fit. As for the consequences of breaking any of these
rules, we have implemented a banning system. Breaking any of
these rules in the following order will result in:
Thread-related capitalization offense will just result in a
mod/admin fixing the board, and perhaps a warning to the OP that
the next time they create a thread to keep in mind of the
capitalization rule.
Spamming:

[li]1st offense - warning sent via private message[/li]
[li]2nd offense - warning sent via private message[/li]
[li]3rd offense - 3-day forum ban[/li]
[li]4th offense - permanent forum ban[/li]
[/list]Inappropriate language/content complaints:
After seeing the situation through, a mod or admin would then
decide proper punishment. They will go off based of this
chart:[list]
[li]1st Offense: Warning sent via Private Message.[/li]
[li]2nd Offense: 4 Day forum ban for language, and 7-day for
inappropriate content (such as porn, nsfw images).[/li]
[li]3rd Offense: Permanent forum ban.[/li]
[/list]Flaming/Trolling/Hostility:[list]
[li]1st Offense: Warning sent via Private Message.[/li]
[li]2nd Offense: Warning sent via Private Message.[/li]
[li]3rd Offense: 7 Day forum ban.[/li]
[li]4th Offense: Permanent forum ban.[/li]
[/list]
