The Wednesday Breakfast Club

Her grandson said she made better breakfast than the diner, so a
bunch of kids started going there every Wednesday.
Then, when he was 15, he died in an accident.
The club continues, sometimes as many as 30.
At first, she paid out of pocket. Now some of the parents and
quite a few local businesses contribute. But she does the
cooking.
Every Wednesday. Going on 3 years now.

I saw this a couple days ago. I usually don't read feel good
pieces but this one was really great.
