Champions Glory 2014 Pre Show
By: ControversyPersonified Date: August 13, 2014, 6:01 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
We are on air and live from the Target Center from Minneapolis,
Minnesota! There’s around three quarters of the capacity in the
arena and Todd Grisham is in the signature Pre-Show box, happy
as ever with the theme song by Kevin Rudolf playing in the
arena.
TG: Ladies and Gentlemen my name is Todd Grisham, this is the
Champions Glory Pre-Show…as ever we’re going to be previewing
every match on the card, looking at our next schedule for the
upcoming shows, interviews with the superstars and also some in
ring action, but first things first it’s time for a look back on
the previous PPV, Ground Zero!
We go to the opening credits of Ground Zero and straight into
the longest match of the night! We see The UnAmericans prevail
in one of the best matches in HCW history against The Shield,
just. Then, we go to possibly one of the shortest matches in HCW
history as Vader defeats Torrie Wilson for the Global Title.
Following that, we go to a big Ladder match for the vacant
International Title, won somehow by Dean Ambrose when it could
have gone to anyone. After that, the skulduggery by The United
Coalition took place to ensure The British Invasion retained
their Synergy Tag Titles against the NWO. Then we saw a new
champion crowned as Daniel Bryan managed to defeat Matt Morgan
in a TLC match to retain the title. Following that, Mark Henry
and Dolph Ziggler battled to a Double Count-Out, then in one of
the feel good moments of the night Davey Boy Smith lost to Bret
Hart in an I Quit match, before the spectacle of the Pot of Gold
match took centre stage and it was the champion who retained and
got to name this very PPV. We end the package with the champ
raising his belt high before we go back to the skybox.
TG: What a night, so many different memories we can take from
the night, but that was the past, it’s time to look at the
present and the future and that is Champions Glory. Let’s look
at our panel for the Pre-Show, first off we have the enforcer of
the Wolfpack and wrestling legend…Kevin Nash!
Nash throws one up for the camera.
TG: And we are also delighted to be joined by the man who
created this PPV…the Pot of Gold winner…the longest reigning
Universal Champion in history…Cody Rhodes.
Rhodes shows his belt off to the camera.
TG: And we have a commentator for this very event, John Bradshaw
Layfield!
JBL waves to the crowd before turning back to Grisham.
TG: Well then, let’s have a quick word with our panel about
tonight’s main show. What are you looking forward to the most
guys? We’ll start with you Kevin?
Nash: I’m quite looking forward to seeing a couple of our
Wolfpack boys in championship action…Kofi and Sting have got a
chance to pick the CDM and International Titles up respectively
and I know they can do it man!
TG: Fair enough, but how about you JBL?
JBL: I think that the six man Armageddon Hell in a Cell match
for Vader’s Global Title will be one of the matches of the
night…carnage of the highest order will take place in that Cell!
TG: Got to agree with you there John…how about you champ?
Rhodes: I can’t wait to defend my title against a worthy
competitor in Shane Douglas on my own event. Should be great…
TG: Ok then, it’s time to go to our first preview of the night.
Now, our first match has been brewing for quite some time. These
two men have been at each other's throat for the past few months
or so. I'm talking about Shawn Micheals and Jeff Hardy, who will
finally clash at Champion's Glory in what is Shawn's first PPV
match since Birth of Destruction VI... Let's see how these two
have come to this...
The video package starts with Shawn kicking Hardy in the face at
the Awards Supershow.

The fans in Wells Fargo Arena are wondering who the hell's
coming on to that music... As soon as they finally see the guy,
somewhat of a mixed reaction can be heard. Some people are happy
to see the man back to an HCW ring... But most of them remember
what he did before and are vocal in their displeasure...
Shawn Michaels comes to the ramp, looking at the crowd, before
doing his usual entrance. It's weird to see him come to a new
song, though.
He slowly makes his way towards the ring while the announcers
remind the folks watching at home of who that man is and what he
accomplished during his last tenure here. Shawn enters the ring
and quickly gets a microphone.
He comes to the middle of the ring and now the reaction is now
mostly boos.
HBK: So, have you missed me?
Heavy boos.
HBK: That was what I thought... I didn't miss you, either...
Before I get started into why I'm back, I wanna start where it
supposedly all ended... As you all know, before my appearance at
the Awards Show, I was last seen leaving in a stretcher....
After my Hell in a Cell match with the man they call "Junior"
here...

And you all cheered for that, am I right?
Some Junior! Junior! chants are heard. Shawn simply smiles.
HBK: You all cheered for the fact that the story supposedly
ended with him getting his hand raised and winning the war I
forged against him for several months... Think again, you
fools... I would expect nothing less from fans coming from such
a pitiful city like Des Moines, Iowa...
Heavier boos this time around.
HBK: Then, if Junior won the war... Where is he to brag about
it... Oh yeah... We haven't heard a damn thing from him since
then... Stories never always finish with the good guy winning...
He won the battle, I'll give him that... But I won the war,
nonetheless... Because I'm here! And I'm here to stay!
Boos are still very strong.
HBK: Now, enough talking about the past... You all wanna know
why the hell I've came back?
Well, I wanted to return with a bang... And back home, I turned
a wheel with all the competitors that were involved in the
Awards Supershow... And it ended up being Damien Sandow. I had
nothing on the guy... But he was going to be the sacrificial
lamb for my triumphant return.
So, I did what I did... And then, there was the guy he was
facing coming towards me... Jeff... I know that you were
anxiously waiting to face him and shut his mouth... But Jeff, if
you didn't came towards me, nothing else would have happened.
You weren't my target... But you couldn't try to not be the
hero, Jeff, huh?
You wanted an explanation and I gave you one in the jaw. I can't
care less about you, Mr. Daredevil... You aren't me and you'll
never reach my level. If I were you, I would simply let it go
and try to go for other things. Bad stuff tends to happen where
people try to play the hero on me...
Ask Ryback... Ask Bret... And most of all, try to ask Junior
what happens when you play the hero....
(Hardy comes out to a nice pop from the crowd. He has a mic in
hand. He looks quite bothered by what HBK just said)
Hardy: Shawn Michaels....one of the greatest in the history of
wrestling as well as one of the most hated wrestlers going
around lately. I have always admired your work Shawn but just
like most people....I do not like your actions. Now, I know what
you're going to say. You don't care what I don't like and
besides you've accomplished too much to care what people think
of your actions. I can understand that. However, you don't seem
to understand me.
Yeah, I got in your face because your ruined my opportunity to
whoop Damien Sandow's *ss like any decent human being would.
But, kicking me in the jaw...well, I'm not going to sit here and
just take that. If there is one thing I'm not, it's a punching
bag for guys like you to just toss to the side! Whether you like
it or not HBK, you just gave me a challenge. You want to give me
the role of the "hero", fine. I'll be the hero. You'll be the
villain. I don't care. What I care about is how you just said
that I will not reach your level. Hate to break it to you, but
this "Mr. Daredevil" is a whole lot more than just a spot
monkey! I can be more than that and I can reach your level.
You've been the challenge I've wanted since I returned to HCW.
I'm ready to play the hero. I'm ready to be the guy that finally
wins a war against you. I'm ready to go beyond all expectations
and not only reach your level, but surpass your level! It's time
for the Charismatic Enigma to rise to the top!
HBK: Let me break down what you said, pieces by pieces...
First, I do understand where you come from, Jeff. Many years
ago, just like you, I started in the tag team division. We both
felt the same stuff... And then, when it was time to split, me
and you ended up doing better than our partner... We were
daredevils that were ready to sacrifice their body to give these
people the show they deserved. We were ahead of the time...
But this is where the comparatives end! Because, you see, you
never became the Heartbreak Kid! You never became the
Showstopper! You never became the headliner... Simply put, you
never achieved as much as me, Shawn Michaels, has accomplished
anywhere he went.
"The challenge you've wanted"... Jeff, I'm warning you... You
ain't worth my time, here. I came back to make an impact, just
like I did every single time I've stepped inside a ring. Ending
you, like I did to Ryback and Junior, won't give me what I want.
So, go back to your own ways and just admit that it's not a good
idea to go any further with me...
Hardy: Do you honestly think I give a damn about what you want?
I don't care about what you want at all. You're the one backing
out of the challenge even though you started it. Oh and I'm not
worth your time? Bullsh*t! Stop trying to get out of this HBK.
I'm not like Ryback. I'm not like Junior. I'm going to be the
guy that does sin because I'm different from them. I'm always
going beyond the limit to win.
You don't think I have what it takes to beat you or even test
the Showstopper? Bring it on because I do.
Also, I hate to break it to you but you and I do share one more
common trait....A dark past. From what I can see HBK, you're
still the *sshole you were from your past. At least, I have
learned from my past and have become a better person.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg6205#msg6205
date=1397845272]
HBK: You wanna talk about the past, Jeff... You, of all
people... You know that it takes one mistake to lose everything
you accomplished for the last several years...
I've been on that same path, before. I'll leave it to that...
Like I said, people tend to lose everything when they try to
play the "hero" on me. Maybe, someday, you'll get your shot,
kid... If I were you, I wouldn't try... But you've made a career
on gambling with your body...
But like I said, I ain't interested to deal with you, right
now... So, think about it, Jeff...
Shawn throws the mic away and leaves the ring, leaving Jeff a
little lost in his thoughts. Shawn doesn't even turn around one
second, as he leaves the ramp to a chorus of boos.
[quote author=MrAwesome link=topic=6.msg6206#msg6206
date=1397854609]
(Hardy sees HBK walks off and decides to speak one more time)
Hardy: You may not want to deal with me, but I'm not going to
sit around and be ignored. You fired this shot...just know that
I will firing right back!
(Hardy drops the mic. His music hits and heads on out. "Hardy"
chants are heard throughout the arena as Jeff walks up the ramp)
We then see both guys screwing each other and going all out. We
then see the events that led to the match being announced,
including Shawn's inadvertant Sweet Chin Music to Junior's head
and DiBiase announcing the match.

[quote author=MrAwesome link=topic=6.msg6759#msg6759

Hardy: Shawn, your problem is that you keep looking to your past
rather than realizing that the danger is staring directly at
you. You are blind to the present. This is why, like me, you
have had your own struggle with your inner demons. I'm not here
to talk about inner demons though. I could ask every one of
those guys what you did to them but I won't because I've watched
those stories and matches unfold. Instead of telling me to ask
what you've done in the past, how about you start asking
yourself how horrible it's going to be when you are looking up
through the blood running down your face at my hand being raised
over you!
You say how chaotic you are and try to be as chaotic as you
want. But, it won't matter. You cannot hold back the flood of
pain that is heading straight for you! This storm of chaos is
riding up the coast and you're the guy sitting on the couch
hoping that the storm will just ride off shore. Well, this storm
isn't diverging course. It's on a direct collision with your
home and will blow it away! Enjoy the calm before the storm,
Shawn. You're going to wish you planned better for the
storm!
HBK: Those are strong words, Jeff... Ryback posed a bigger
threat than you will ever do... Teddy Boy was a bigger threat
than you will ever be... That's simply the reality, Jeff...
Oh, a storm... All you've been doing in your life has been just
like a storm... You've been living the life in the the fast
lane... I'll simply remind you that those who are always living
their life in the fast lane tends to crash as hard as they've
been running...
The video package ends with Shawn and Jeff brawling inside the
ring.
TG: Very huge issues between these two men and it'll all collide
later on tonight... Cody, you've faced both men in the last few
weeks... While it didn't went well in both cases, tell the HCW
fans about the strengths of both men.
Rhodes: Jeff Hardy has emotion and heart but HBK has the skill
and experience.
TG: Kevin, who do you think has the psychological edge?
Nash: I gotta go with Shawn. I know it's expected cause we go so
far back. But at the end of the day Shawn is one of the greatest
to ever step foot into a wrestling ring. And Jeff may think he
is in Shawns head but Trust me when I tell you Shawn is as
focused as ever. I mean look at it like this Shawn has nothing
to prove. he has done everything in this industry. If he loses
big deal he lost to Still rising star in the bussiness. And if
he wins he just adds to his impressive career.
TG: John, can Hardy and HBK avoid letting their emotions get the
best of them?
JBL: It will be difficult... For Jeff, mostly. As he is a more
volatile competitor who always lets his emotions and the crowd's
reaction get the best of him... Shawn will have a gameplan in
mind and he has proven in the past that he can be a cold and
calculated strategist. He knows Jeff's gameplan and he will have
one of his own.
TG: That means that you go with Shawn for the win?
JBL: I gotta go with that outcome, yes.
TG: Nash, who are you picking?
Nash: Shawn, no doubt.
TG: And our Universal Champion?
Rhodes: Shawn Michaels. But this one will be great.
TG: Well, this could be one of the most volatile matches of the
night. I think we now have a special guest. Matt, who do you
have?

Edge is walking in the back when Matt Striker walks up to him.
Striker: Edge you have a very controversial match with your
brother tonight, he said he would rather quit than face you. Do
you have any thoughts on this going in tonight? Any worries that
he won't show?
Edge: My brother is many things. But a coward is not one of
them. I think. He will show and beg me not to kick his ass one
last time before it actually happens. If he tries to quit I
will drag his butt back into the ring and beat him that much
harder.
Striker: And if his Un-American team mates show...
Edge: He told them to leave me to himself alone. If they show, I
have a spear with their names on it.
Striker: Sounds like your already fired up to go!
Edge: Fired up? This match has been a long time coming. I am
more than ready for this match. Still I should probably prepare
for it. You have any more questions?
Striker: No that is all thanks for your time Edge...
We go straight to a video package.

Hell in a Cell Tornado Tag Team Match
Un-Americans vs John Cena/Edge
Christian goes after Edge and throws him out of the ring. He
goes to throw him into the wall but it’s reversed and Cage meets
the wall hard! Edge looks under the ring… And he finds two steel
chairs… He brings them inside the ring before getting Christian
back inside the ring. He then tries for the Edgecution right on
the chair but Christian blocks it. Edge charges at Christian but
he ducks the clothesline attempt and on the rebound, Christian
surprises him with his own Spear!
Instead of making the cover, though, Christian decides to place
a chair under Edge’s head and pick the other. The crowd heavily
boos, knowing what’s coming. He prepares for the Conchairto… But
before he can hit it, Cena drops him down and applies the STF!
Christian’s trying his best to get into the ropes but as he was
about to tap, Jericho made the save with a dropkick to the back
of Cena’s head. He then tries to apply the Walls but Cena powers
through! Cena then has Chris in his shoulders but he slides out
of the AA attempt. Jericho then tries for the Walls again…
But Edge SPEARS him hard! Christian tries to make the save but
Cena catches him with the AA! Edge covers Jericho!
ONE
TWO
THREE!
Winner: John Cena/Edge at 22:38
JR: An impressive win for both men tonight! All four men brought
their A-Game and while they didn’t use much weapons, every move
was delivered with more intensity as if they wanted to destroy
their opponents’ will.
Cole: At the end of the night, though, John and Edge had the
last laugh.
Cena and Edge gets their hand raised by the referee but
suddenly, they both get knocked down by the Un-Americans,
visibly unhappy of how the match unfolded. They now have even
worse intentions… The crowd boos them heavily as they work on
both men. Christian takes care of Cena while Chris takes care of
Edge. They then both focus on Cena, unloading on him. Christian
then has him in position for the Killswitch… But Edge SPEARS his
brother to the ground! Before Jericho can retaliate for his
teammate, Cena catches him and hits the AA, to the crowd’s heavy
delight.
While Cena celebrates with the fans, Edge stays close to his
brother. He has that crazy look in his eyes… He goes to pick the
two steel chairs… Could he actually hit the Conchairto on his
brother? He places the first steel chair under Christian’s head…
And he does hit him with the Conchairto! The Utah’s crowd don’t
know what to do with this…. As happy as they are to see the
Un-Americans down, some are concerned that Edge maybe went too
far. Cena stares at Edge, wondering the exact same thing.
We can hear tell John that it’s the only way for him to really
understand before he leaves. We see the medical staff coming at
Christian, who seems completely knocked out. The announcers
remind the fans that it’s a serious situation, as much as they
hate Christian. He then gets picked and rolled on a stretcher as
we go to our first video package of the night.

Edge: Christian needed to get the message. A simple spear
wasn't going to be enough. Am I proud of the conchairto? Not
especially. I don't deliberately want to do things like that to
my own brother. I did what I had to do. Hopefully. the message

Best in the World" Chris Jericho not in the best of moods.
High Voltage was a horrible event. Edge took things way too far.
Christian is at the moment laying in a hospital here in Utah,
with terrible, American service. Do not think that things are
over. Whether it is with Christian or by myself, I will be on
the next Collision and Foley... make sure you reserve some space
for me... since I plan on having the Ultimate Un-American
address.
With that Jericho disappears from our screens.

As soon as they attack, Ambrose comes, guns blazing, but the
numbers game is in firm control of the Un-Americans. They are
starting to punish the three members of the Shield and the crowd
heavily boos…
Cole: Those bastards are in firm control right now…
King: Wait a minute! Who’s the guy’s looking like he just rode a
bike???
The crowd is buzzing as an unknown guy has just came to the
opposite corner where the Un-Americans have been beating down
the Shield. He’s waiting for one of them to turn around. That
guy ends up being Christian...
Cole: WHAT A THUNDEROUS SPEAR! Christian just got broken in
half!
JBL: Who’s that guy…
King: Look at the Shield! They’ve regained control over the
Un-Americans! And now, they’ve thrown the rest of the
Un-Americans outside of the ring!
JBL: Christian! Get out of here…
King: He’s surrounded by all three members of the Shield plus
the motorcycle guy… He doesn’t know where to go…
Cole: SUPERMAN PUNCH!
The crowd goes wild as Reigns is pumped up and lets his
trademark roar go, which means bad trouble for Christian…
Luckily, Jericho gets him out of the ring, as all four
Un-Americans are retreating towards the backstage area while
staring at all four men. While the Shield extend their fists
like they usually do, the motorcycle guy suddenly begins to take
away his helmet…
Cole: EDGE!!! IT’S THE RATED-R SUPERSTAR!!!
King: What is he doing here? He’s a Fusion wrestler!!!
JBL: Why in the blue hell security doesn’t get that guy out of
the arena?! He’s trespassing the other brand…
Jericho is shocked! Cesaro can’t believe what he sees! Sheamus
wonders what’s going on! And Christian… He looks like he just
saw his death live!!! Edge jumps to his signature pose bouncing
on the bottom rope, and grins as he simply stares at all four
guys while we go to a commercial break.

Edge make his entrance in the Chesapeake Energy Arena to a much
bigger pop than he is used to. He does his usual antics in the
ring, than gets a mic.
Edge: So. I guess Bobby, Vader and the Global Championship will
have to wait. Lucky for them since that means Vader will be
holding that title just that much longer. Heenan can't fool me,
he was scared his Mastadon's days as champ were coming to a
close. Anyways, on to more important things. Did you all see
the look on my dear old brothers face after I took of the
helmet, and he realized it was me that hit him with a Spear? It
was priceless. I hope you took notes dear brother, that is how a
spear is done.
This gets a pop from the crowd.
Edge: Now I know, Jericho has his panties in a wad, and Cesaro
and Sheamus are playing follow the leader and are ****ed only
cause he is, but here is what it is. I don't care about any of
you three. You have poisoned Christians mind with your crap.
Apparently the conchairto a couple months ago wasn't enough and
I need to take a more hands on approach, which at Champions
Glory, I will. Christian, its good you told the three little
pigs to keep their noses out of this. Its enough that I will be
beating sense back in to you, Foley can't afford to lose all of
you from his roster at my hands.
Edge gets another pop.
Edge: Any questions? No? Good. See you soon dear old brother..

We see Christian Cage by himself backstage in the Chesapeake
Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
Decision, decisions. The word "decision" is defined as "a
conclusion or resolution reached after consideration." I now
face myself in need of reaching a conclusion or resolution on
this topic regarding the match against my brother, Edge at
Champion's Glory. I have given this matter long consideration
and thought. It would appear that the entire world wants to see
this. Everyone wants to see a brother vs. brother encounter.
My Un-American fellows are instigating the fight, Edge is
attempting to provoke me, and even the IWC is begging for this
match to happen.
How cruel the world is. Cruel to the point where one is forced
to fight their own brother. I am being pushed to a breaking
point with this but I have made my decision. My Un-American
brothers are for it, most of the HCW locker room is for it, Edge
is for it, and management, clearly is for it. I took some time
last night and gave my associates, The British invasion, a call
and asked them to comment. They told me that Edge is a virus
that needs to be taken care of, very much like the NWO, and
William told me that if anyone was capable of taking care of
Edge, it was me. So after hearing the words of the United
Coalition together I have decided...
That I will NOT fight my own brother! I refuse to be forced by
this company, which hasn't given me crap, to fight my own kin
and blood. I don't have support on this, but hear me out, Edge
is my brother. I grew up with Edge! I know Edge! I know my
own brother and this isn't him. The Edge I know would never hit
me with three con-chair-tos. He's just confused at the moment
and I do need show him the right path... but fighting him at
Champions Glory isn't the way to do it.
Therefore, here is my position... if by the time Champion's
Glory is here I still have to fight my own brother... then I
quit!

Edge: Because at Champions Glory I will still beat the crap out
of my dear old brother. That's if he has the guts to show up...
And with that we go to black with the two men staring at each
other in the ring before we return to Todd Grisham.
TG: A pretty personal battle will turn ugly tonight…this is the
first time we will hear from our panel tonight, we’ll start with
you JBL…what’s Edge got to do to win tonight?
JBL: Christian doesn’t want to know tonight, so Edge has just
got to pick the scraps and win this…should be easy enough for
him tonight…
TG: What's Christian got to do beat Edge tonight if he does
show?
Nash: Well Todd, I think Christian has gotta get out of his own
head. I mean he may call Edge his brother, and he may well love
him like a brother. But business is business and this little
issue right here is business. Besides I've never seen two
siblings that didn't fight every once in a while. But if
Christian goes into this mach still thinking that he is fighting
his "brother" and not wanna go all out to beat edge, then he
doesn't have a chance.
TG: Do you believe that any sort of interference in the match?
Rhodes: If it were any other match, I'd have to say yes. But
Christian seems like he really wants to handle this on his own
and I think the rest of the Un-Americans will respect that.
TG: We’ll go for our predictions…Cody?
Rhodes: I'm gonna go with Edge, but if even a single
Un-American makes his presence felt, Christian will be taking
this one.
TG: For you JBL?
JBL: Christian’s hearts not in it…Edge for me.
TG: Please give us a prediction Kev?
Nash: I think the "Edge" in this match has to go to Edge. No pun
intended Todd. I mean but Edge has always been one step ahead of
Christian and I don't see that changing now.
TG: Well thanks guys…and now it’s time for a part of the
Pre-Show where we work out where we are going and when…it’s
touring schedule time.

to our first title match we are previewing…the Synergy Tag Team
titles are on the line…The Champions The British Invasion will
defend against three teams that are hungry for the gold…The
Shield, The UnAmeicans and the New World Order! Let’s have a

Cena can’t believe it and thinks it’s for the best if he goes up
to the top rope. He looks as though he’s going for his big Leg
Drop from up top but Williams dodges it and takes advantage by
picking up Cena by the waist, running him into the corner and
nailing him with a Chaos Theory. Williams leaps right into the
cover!
ONE!!
TWO!!
THR-A KICK OUT BY CENA!
The crowd react, they’re loving this. Williams waits for Cena to
get up and goes to nail another Chaos Theory but Cena rolls
through it and counters into an AA which he successfully hits!
He goes for a pin!
ONE!!
TWO!!
BURCHILL BREAKS IT UP!!
To the despair of the crowd and the anger of the Rock, Burchill
broke the pin and Rock decides to deal with him by repeatedly
punching Burchill and whipping him into the corner. Cena then
picks Williams up and sends him into the same corner where
Burchill is. Cena then strolls over to the corner and picks both
champions up on his shoulders! Cena nails a Double Attitude
Adjustment! He goes to make a pin, but Rock stops him and tells
Cena to place Burchill on top of Williams, which he does. Rock’s
plans become clear as he then strips off an Elbow Pad and nails
a People’s Elbow! Cena makes the pin for surely the last time!
ONE!!
TWO!!!
............

The crowd boo heavy as William Regal drags the referee out of
the ring to the floor. Show spots this and starts going towards
Regal, leaving Regal to try and circle the ring to avoid him,
but Regal gets caught by a big outside dive from an airbourne
Rock! It wasn’t exactly high flying, so Rock is on his feet
pretty quickly and Regal uses the guardrail to get up, but he is
now stuck between Rock and a Hard Place. Big Show grabs hold of
him in a Military Press position as Rock strips an announce
table then stands on it. Big Show stands Regal on the announce
table and the intentions of Rock become clear as he hooks Regal
for a Rock Bottom while Cena from the ring and Show from nearby
watch on. Rock is about to lift Regal but…
JBL: What the hell…
Cole: What’s happened here?
King: All the lights are out in the arena…we’ve lost power.
There is no light at all in the arena, then about 15 seconds
later we hear a crash through an announce table. The crowd cheer
as they assume that’s Regal gone through, then the crowd are
distracted by a big American flag with the nWo logo on it on the
titantron. Slowly though after ten seconds, this fades away and
is instead replaced by four flags: the flags of Switzerland,
Canada, Britain and Ireland. The crowd start booing…are The
United Coalition at it again? The lights come back on and the
fears are confirmed. Crowded around a Broken announce table is
William Regal, Chris Jericho, Christian and Davey Boy Smith. The
Rock is lying in a mess, but we didn’t see any physical contact.
Our attention turns to the ramp, where Brutus Magnus, Wade
Barrett, Sheamus and Antonio Cesaro are beating up Big Show, not
a disqualifiable offence. Cena is just staring at the group
crowded round The Rock though, shock on his face. Cena knows the
referee is still down so turns round back towards to the two
Invasion members in the ring, but he gets caught by Paul
Burchill who is now up. Burchill has Cena in position for Cena’s
patented Attitude Adjustment, and he actually dares to perform
it. Williams appears to have made a recovery too, and he locks
Cena in an STF while Burchill leaves the ring to help with Big
Show who is resisting. Jericho and Regal grab the referee and
throw him back in the ring perfectly in position to see a shock
Cena tap out, and somehow the Invasion have retained!
Winners: The British Invasion via Williams beating Cena by
Submission in 23:09.
King: What is this? Come on!
JBL: Maybe the lighting staff are having problems backstage…The
Invasion were about to win anyway!
Cole: Give me a break! This is pathetic!
All members of the Coalition manage to escape before the nWo can
regroup as Roberts makes the announcement and we go to a
highlights package.

The Hitman walks into the nWo to a chorus of cheers and congrats
from Rock, Show and Cena. They all clap him on the back and sing
his praises stopping only when the door suddenly opens again to
reveal none other than the Co-CEO, Mick Foley.
Everyone: Mick!
IC: Hey Boys, I couldn't go back to Collision before visiting
you guys first.
Bret: We saw the tumble you took out there, you ok?
IC: I will be fine. That wasn't the worst fall I have ever
taken.
Show: I for one am glad you are here. We want a rematch against
the Invasion.
Rock: For the Tag titles that is. That ending last night was a
joke we deserve to have a real ending to the match.
Cena: The Un-Americans put their noses in a match that was none
of their concern.
Foley raises his hands.
IC: Guys look. I am not any more happy than you are about it.
The Board is still trying to piece together what exactly
happened. I am all for a rematch on one of the next Fusions, but
ultimately, its up to Hogan to make that happen. I do appreciate
you all running out and stopping the interference in Pot of Gold
though. Tell you all what, I will put a good word in with Hogan
some time soon and we will see what happens.
Show: I like that, but I may pay a visit to the Hulkster myself
come Fusion.
Rock: Mick, we are far from done with them. Bret knocked off
Daveyboy, and nWo will knock off the rest of them before we are
through.
IC: Congrats on that win Bret, I enjoyed the match.
Bret: Thanks Mick!
IC: Guys I gotta be on my way, its great to see you all again
though.
Foley shakes all their hands and heads out of the arena and to
the airport to go to the next.

to return the favor. Only we won't need to hide in the dark.
Rock: Foley said he would be ok with a Future episode of Fusion.
That leaves it up to you doesn't it?
Show: Yeah, we could win the titles on Fusion and be more than
happy to defend them against Collisions best at Cody's pay per

nevertheless... I feel sick to my stomach. I do feel like I've
let the NWO down... But it's how you respond to adversity that
will make me a winner at the end... A lot of people here are
basically saying that it has become a war of attrition... I say
that if the United Coalition wants a war... We're going to give
one... And we're gonna make sure that never again will anyone

WR: This is a bloody disgrace! The New World Order asking for a
rematch when they got beat...ridiculous. They should have been
disqualified in the first place, Big Show and The Rock were man
handling me and Rock was about to drive me through a table! It's
not my fault an idiot HCW technician accidentally turned the
lights out and The Rock fell through a table, and it was Rock
that went through a table, not Cena, I know the ever changing
members of the nWo is confusing for a man of your lack of
intelligence Big Show but at least try and keep up.
Point is ****s, we are under no obligation to offer the New
World Order a rematch. It's Collisions shot and barring The
UnAmericans have an even worse tag team line up than we have

Christian then hits Killswitch but before he can get the three

charges at Kofi and both men go over the top rope. It leaves
Christian and Cara alone. Cara surprises his opponent with a

on the TitanTron. It looks like he's in his office.
Hogan: Before I respond to your last comment... I have an

clear enough... At Champion's Glory, the Invasion will defend
the Synergy Tag Team Titles... In a 4-way Match!
Their opponents... Two from Collision... and the New World

Crowd goes wild as Regal isn't pleased at all.

The package ends with the four teams on the screen and we go
back to Grisham.
TG: An intriguing bout rammed full of talent…let’s see what Kev,
John and Cody have to say. First question is yours Kevin, what
do you think of The Shield’s chances tonight?
Nash: Ya know, The Shield got into this match by beating two of
my fellow Wolfpack members, and a member of their group is
defending his title against Sting at the ppv. So ya'll probably
expect me to pick against them but I can't do it. Seth Rollins
and Roman Reigns are the real deal.
TG: Ok, JBL, what about the New World Order?
JBL: I think that they’re more bothered about stopping the
Invasion from winning…we’ve got a different combination to what
we saw last time…The Hitman and The Giant do have a chance but
there priorities may lie elsewhere.
TG: Cody, Do you see any dissension occurring in the match
between The United Coalition?
Rhodes: Considering its an elimination match, I could see it
not happening. But both of these two teams are the worst of the
worst so I expect them to stab each other in the back when you
least expect it.
TG: JBL, your prediction?
JBL: The Invasion manage to always pick up the major victories
by some way or another…Invasion for me.
TG: To you champ, who do you reckon will walk out of Minnesota
with the Synergy Tag Titles?
Rhodes: As strong as all four of these teams are, the Shield is
gonna be my pick.
TG: And Kev?
Nash: Shield for me.
TG: Well thanks for that, but now it’s in ring time…The Angry
Giant Matt Morgan will take on the undefeated upstart Drake
Younger…let’s go down to ringside.

---------------------------------------------------------
Younger came out first to a small but yet positive reaction. The
HCW fans love his guts and he is still undefeated early on in
his career. He poses for the fans before Matt Morgan's music
plays and the Blueprint comes to the ring in his usual foul
mood. We saw JBL making his way down through the crowd to join
commentary as this one began. The commentators remind everyone
that this is a match to determine the number one contender for
the CDM Title that will be defended later on.
We're underway and Younger uses his speed early on to ground the
big man with a beautiful DDT. Morgan would regain control of the
match with a belly-to-back suplex before sending Younger into
the corner. He charges but Drake lifts his right leg in the
mouth of the Blueprint. Younger goes after Morgan and tries to
throw him into the ropes but it is reversed. Matt tries for a
clothesline but Younger swiftly counters it into a crucifix for
a two count.
Younger charges at Morgan but he gets caught into a Gorilla
Press. Morgan then works on the head and back of the smaller
opponent. He then slides out of the ring and picks up a steel
chair. He tries to hit him right on the head but Drake gets out
of the way and dropkicks his right leg, dropping him to his
knees. Younger then goes up top and hits a flying crossbody for
a near fall.
That angered Morgan who regained control of the bout for some
time. He even hits a powerslam for a near fall. He then punishes
him with the chair but the kid fights back by once targeting the
right leg of Morgan. He then wowed the crowd with a moonsault
from the second turnbuckle and a frog splash only for Morgan to
kick out at two in a half both attempts.
Despite the match being a Falls Count Anywhere Match... Both men
stayed inside the ring. Morgan tried for the Hellavator but
Younger countered with elbows to the head. He then tried for
Drake's Landing but Morgan blocks it before nailing him with a
violent chair shot to the head. Morgan covers but somehow,
Younger kicked out at the last second!
Morgan was pi$$ed off... He went to the corner and signalled for
Carbon Footprint... But Younger ducks, kicks him right in the
groin, which is legal in that match, and hit Drake's Landing for
the three count!
Winner and new Number one Contender for the CDM Title: Drake
Younger at 11:19
JBL: What a disgraceful way to end this match!
Cole: What are you talking about? There is no DQ in Falls Count
Anywhere matches, you know that. Drake had the instinct to
target the big man there and get him in position for his
finisher.
Lawler: Remember, folks... Drake Younger hasn't lost a single
match since his arrival to HCW!
Cole: And he'll get a chance at the CDM Title pretty soon. We go
back to the guys above for the rest of the Pre-Show.
Instead of going back to Grisham though, we go to Striker…
MS: My guest at this time...Mr. Ratings, Dolph Ziggler.
Dolph comes in with Henry by his side. As is the common act
for Ziggler lately he isn't showing off but has a hood up and is
wearing darker clothing than usual.
MS: Dolph Ziggler, you were unsuccessful in your match against
Drake Younger on Collision-
DZ: Woah woah woah...Matt, what are you talking about? I love
how you interviewers give half the story to make you look bad.
Striker, let's go to before Drake Younger's "Victory" over me. I
was involved in an episode of Piper's Pit. That ended with me
being on the receiving end of a Mandible Claw...my own boss
attacked me because he felt like it...this is obviously a
heinous crime that deserves to be treat with appropriate
consequences. I hope the board take appropriate action against
Mick Foley otherwise I may take action myself...and I'm talking
legal action...but Mick, hear this. I dare you to attack me
again Foley. I dare you.
But, going back to your stupid question Matt, yeah, Drake won
the match. Good for him. But he beat a wounded man in his sort
of match. We'll cross again soon, and the outcome will not be
the same.
MS: Thanks Dolph, but finally...you're not in a match, not on
the Pre-Show and not scheduled to appear. Why is that?
DZ: Well first things first me not being on the PPV is like the
Jackson Five without Michael...not as relevant as it was, not
complete, not as good and not worth seeing. I'm simply being the
good guy here and improving this PPV and the Pre-Show by showing
up.
Also, as mentioned before I want to see if any action is took
against Mick Foley...
And as I'm rather pissed off tonight, that means one thing:
Henry: Somebody gonna get they ass kicked!
Ziggler and Henry leave and we snap back to Grisham.

TG: Now it’s time for our next preview: The International Title.
This upcoming match is one that is quite intriguing... As Dean
Ambrose, one of the three members of the Shield, will defend the
International Title against the man responsible for bring the
Wolfpack to HCW, Sting. And it is a Dog Collar Match, which adds
to the craziness that this bout could be. Now, before we go
check the video package for this match, I must tell you that the
match has to end via pinfall. I know there has been Dog Collar
matches that ended with the hitting in the four turnbuckles
thing but Ambrose made it clear that this wasn't the way it's
going to go.
Let's see how things started... At Ground Zero...
The video package starts with footage of the 8-man Ladder
match... All the crazy stuff... Including Sting hitting Ambrose
right in the head with his baseball bat... And Ambrose finally
retrieving the belt in the end.
We then see the footage of the Number One Contenders match
between Sting and Edge, which Stign won.

leader and we will show our dominance. That we are THE top
stable in HCW...Believe that....and believe in the
Shield.
date=1406924483]Nash: Yea I'm pretty happy with how everything
has turned out, it took a little bit for things to come together
but we are getting there.. This weekend Kofi has a shot to bring
some gold to the pack, and I certainly think he will captalize
on this oppurtunity.. And then you my friend have a shot to
become the International Champion later on that night.. Dean is
a tough little ****.. Want me to come out there with you??
Sting: Nah I got this and you're right Dean is a tough
competitor but we are fighter for a better cause, the Greater
Good if you will.. We represent the future with a little blast
from the past.. The Future is now, come PPV no mater what the
stipulation is I will prevail, oh and Dean I hope youre watching
this cause It's Showtime my friend.... haha!
[quote author=chris_K link=topic=6.msg6904#msg6904

Ambrose: Oh Sting.....You know, I've been thinking about this
stipulation for quite awhile. I could have chosen something
easy like a handicap match or even a special referee but easy
wins aren't my style. I want to bleed. I want to make YOU
bleed. I want chaos. I want you, in a dog collar match. And
after our match, after I have broken you and my brothers are tag
team champions, I want you all to do one more thing....

usual, with a spiked dog collar around his neck with a chain
hanging from it. Blood is dripping from his forehead)
Sting: WOOOOOOOOOOOO.. DEAN, IT'S SHOWTIME BABY!!!!!!!!
(The screen goes black)
TG: Another intriguing matchup... Cody, with both men being
attached to a chain and with a dog collar around their necks...
Can we expect a war out there?
Rhodes: I don't think we should expect anything less! As a
former International Champion, let me tell you, winning that
belt and having a good run with it gave me the confidence to
step up to the main event scene and look how that ended up.
Both of these guys should act like this match could put them at
the top of the card if they win.
TG: John, what should Ambrose do to fend off the Stinger and
keep his International Title?
JBL: Dean has a lot of experience in crazy matches like the one
we'll have tonight. He made a living on how to endure punishment
and he will simply need to do that once again against a man who
can also be crazy sometimes...
TG: Nash, you know Sting quite well... What does he need to do
to gain the International Title?
Nash: I think he just needs to go out there and stay focused.
Sometimes Sting can lose his composure and go a little.. um
crazy to say the least. But if he stays focused he is one of the
toughest performers to beat in any match
TG: So, I presume you go with your Wolfpack leader?
Nash: Well, I was gonna refrain from making a prediction but
since you put me on the spot, yeah let's go with Sting!
TG: What about you, John?
JBL: It'll be a crazy match... But I'll also go with the
experience of Sting over the toughness of Ambrose.
TG: And what about you, Champ?
Rhodes: Youth, insanity, and chaos will break Sting. Ambrose to
retain.
TG: Thanks, guys. We'll go to Matt Striker, who has some guests
with him.
We go to Striker who is already surrounded by Nigel McGuinness,
Adrian Neville, Brutus Magnus, Wade Barrett and the current tag
team champions Douglas Williams and Paul Burchill.
MS: Nigel, can you tell me on behalf of The Invasion what
tonight is all about for you?
NM: Very simple answer Matt…retaining and obtaining
championships.
We’ve got to make sure that this The Synergy Belts go from
Burchill and Williams to Magnus and Barrett is the only Synergy
Tag Title change tonight…we’re not going to slate our opponents,
claim how unfair our life is and state how we’re going to
dominate. We’ve got a gameplan and telling everyone is not part
of it…and as you saw on Fusion, there’s always a Plan B. As for
obtaining, well, Douglas Williams has been overlooked for far
too long now. The man made John Cena tap out at the PPV previous
to this and one PPV down the line things won’t change. No matter
if you’re a big ball of fat thinking you’re a mastodon, a woman
thinking she’s cared about, a loudmouth arsehole who thinks he’s
as good as he was, an average guy who think he’s a multi
platform sensation or a wrecking machine who thinks he’s
unstoppable…you can and will not manage the in ring prowess, the
in ring ability and the in ring venom of this man Douglas
Williams. He will be the winner…but until then….
Invasion: Long Live The Invasion…
We go back to Grisham…

Number One Contender Match
Winner faces Vader for the Global Championship at Champion's
Glory
The Rock vs Mr. Kennedy
As we return from the break, Bobby Heenan and Vader are already
at the commentators' table.
Rock first comes to the ring to a very loud ovation. He looks in
the zone, ready to punch his ticket for Champion's Glory. He
poses for the fans while staring at the champion.
Then, Kennedy comes to the ring, looking as confident as always.
He comes to the side where Vader and Heenan are and asks for a
mic. But as he turned around to enter the ring, Vader suddenly
attacks him from behind and throws him face-first into the
ringpost. Rock doesn't like this one bit and he unloads on the
champion... But as he goes for his trademark spitting right
hand, Vader ducks and knocks him down with a vicious clothesline
before throwing him into the ringsteps. Vader is fuming as the
ref has no choice but signal the no contest.
Heenan walks in the ring after Vader’s decimation of the two
participants.
Heenan: Enough is enough! Hogan, I told you that I demand that
Vader and I be taken seriously! He is the Global Champion for a
God damn reason! He is the Mastodon of HCW! He and I are the
ones who should be choosing his opponents or rather…his victims!
But, once again, your power has gone to your head. I guess all
of Vader’s beatings to you cannot put the damn idea into your
head that you should not be the one calling the shots around
here. Vader and I are the deserving people to be calling shots
around here.
The fans are really irritated at Heenan clearly. Vader tells
some fans at ringside to shut up.
Hogan, I’m a reasonable man, but you’re the one that pushes me
over the line! I am an upstanding citizen, a paragon of what a
good man is! You are the one that causes me to unleash hell! I
really never wanted Vader to put you in a hospital, but you
brought on yourself. I’m not going to stand for being mistreated
any longer and neither is Vader. We are the voices of reason!
You’re the one whose ego drowns out all of the reason! The
beatings that Mr. Kennedy and Rocky boy got tonight are a direct
result of Hulk Hogan’s ignorance. I don’t normally have a
problem with these men other than them being unreasonable
a**holes.
Heenan soaks in all the jeers he is getting and smiles.
Oh please, I know you people love us. I, for one, know that the
fans are really tired of the way Hogan runs this brand and are
looking for change. (The fans booing is deafening at this point)
Well, Vader and I are the change HCW needs! Vader and I are the
ones who know what is right and what is wrong! Hogan is a blind
fool who can’t get past his glory days and realize that he is a
“has been”. Nobody cares about Hulkamania. This generation cares
more about how many followers on Twitter they have than what
Hulk Hogan knows best! I’m the one who realizes this. I’m the
one who should reach out to the fans and give them what they
want. What they want is me and Vader being the ones to run the
show and prove why we are both the best. The Brain and the
Mastodon shall be listened too and appreciated!
Hogan: Would you shut up?!
The crowd roars as Hogan is at the top of the ramp. And he isn't
pleased...
Hogan: You will listen to me... Because of your actions and
because everyone has been wanting a title shot of all kinds...
I've came to a decision...
At Champion's Glory, you will defend that title... Not against
one wrestler... But five other ones! And those five are Torrie
Wilson, Bill Goldberg, Douglas Williams (Some boos), Ken Kennedy
(Pretty loud cheers) and the Rock!
The crowd goes wild for the announcement. Of course, Heenan and
Vader are very irate.
Hogan: And since you want to strip these people from a great
main-event for your own egos to feed... Then, I'll strip you of
the power Cody Rhodes gave ya as a champion. I will decide what
match you'll be in... And I have the perfect idea...
These fans will get something they've never seen, something
they've never experienced... A 6-man Armageddon HELL IN A CELL
Match!
The crowd goes even wilder as Heenan is irate at Hogan. Vader
isn't looking far too pleased, either, as the announcers hype
what Hogan just announced and the repercussions of what happened
during the night. The show ends with shots at Rock and Kennedy
who are recovering from the attack but are looking slightly more
pleased.
We see Vader being hit with Two different Rock Bottoms and being
pinned by Rock.
[quote author=MrAwesome link=topic=6.msg6807#msg6807

(Vader and Heenan are in their locker room. Words cannot
describe the anger on Heenan's face. Vader is seen punching a
wall when the camera comes in)
Heenan: This can't possibly be allowed?! Hogan cannot keep
stripping people of their powers every time he is p*ssed off!
This is once again a blatant violation of Hogan's power. He
cannot simply abuse his General Manager position any time he
wants! It's downright wrong. This is why I should be the one
running things around here. I would never let this sort of thing
happen!
I mean for God's sake Vader, he put you in an Armageddon Hell in
a Cell match! You're the Global Champion what kind of respect is
that! You had the right to choose your match stipulation but
Hogan's ego had to get in the way again! I am not settling for
this. Piper cannot let this go unchecked!
(Heenan stops to catch his breath)
I will say Vader. There is one bright side to this whole thing.
This may be an Armageddon Hell in a Cell match but it mine as
well be called Vader's playground! The Hell in a Cell is your
yard. The only reason it has Hell in the name of this match is
because those superstars are trapped in there with you! Nobody
wants to face a Mastodon locked in a cage. You will destroy
every single person in that match! You will show why you are the
Mastodon! You will show why you are the Global Champion! Hell,
you will show why that match is pure Armageddon. You aren't
locked in the cage with those superstars. They are locked in the
cage with you! You will decimate every one of them! Do you hear
me big man!?
Vader: I WILL DESTROY THEM! THIS IS ARMAGEDDON! IT'S TIME! IT'S
TIME! IT'S VADER TIME!
(Heenan pats Vader on the back with a grin. Vader looks
absolutely hyped now to destroy anyone or anything...)

Rock: Stll flapping your gums Bobby Heenan? Even with this Hell
in a Cell? Has it not occurred to you that the numbers are
against Vader in this match? Have you thought about it for one
moment that Vader doesn't even have to be pinned to lose? Being
that Torrie is in this match that worries me. I could lose with
out even being pinned. Keep running your mouth Bobby Hennan and
one of these days you will find the same fate as Paul Heyman.
The Weapon of destruction to the face. Haven't heard from Paul
since Show did that. Yeah even though he don't have to, The Rock
is going to beat your big ugly candy ass and then the Rock will
be the People's Global Champion, again!

Heenan: You shut your damn mouth Rock! I'm sick of you. I'm sick
of the candy ass*s, the Smackdown hotels, and so on and so
forth. You treat me like I am not the Brain. You would like to
think that you're always one step ahead of me, but in reality
I'm three steps ahead. There's always a plan and you can't
predict it. You better accept these facts Rock! The odds are
stacked against Vader just as they are stacked against you. Yet,
the funny thing about odds, is that they are always changing.
The odds are changing, but you can't see it.
Vader is walking out still Global Champion and people will see
why Vader is the greatest Global Champion in HCW history! Trust
me, I'm well aware that Vader doesn't have to get pinned. I'm
well aware that the weak and feable Torrie Wilson is involved in
the match. None of that matters. Your millions of fan are going
to witness something that the people will never forget and
that's you losing to Vader. Nobody will ever forget this match!
Nobody will ever forget the day that the Mastodon's reign will
be established as the most dominant thing HCW has ever
witnessed!
Can you smell that?
We see Wilson with a few impressive displays but then losing to
Vader.

Torrie is seen pacing around her locker room frantically while
Kane watches, his body language suggesting he is trying to calm
her down.
Torrie: Why would he put me in a 6-person Armageddon Hell in a
Cell?! WHAT IS HE THINKING?!
Kane reaches out his hands to stop her but Torrie shoves him
away.
Torrie: Get your hands off me! I still haven't forgiven you for
LOSING our tag team match!
Torrie stops pacing and turns to face the door.
Torrie: He's trying to punish me. And you know what Kane? This
is NOT on! He WILL be hearing from me about this. Come on, Big
Red idiot, follow me.

We then see Goldberg destroying pretty much everyone since his

interviewing Goldberg)
Rene: What are your thoughts on the 6 man match for the global
title?
Goldberg: Well first of all it's a five man, the other "man" is
a female and honestly has no business being in the ring with
us.. But that's another issue for another day, anyway to be
honest I'm not to pleased with it.. Since my return to HCW I am
undefeated in singles matches so a 6 man match really puts me at
a disadvantage.. Since it's not an elimination match, My goal is
to go out there and focus on the weakest link and get a quick
victory and become the new champion..
Rene: Who is the weak link you are referring to?
Goldberg: We all know who that is Rene.. Haha
(Goldberg walks away laughing)
We then see a couple of Williams finest moments but no big

The camera shows Kennedy, Warrior and Savage playing some Texas
Hold'Em at a table inside their locker room. It looks like
Warrior doesn't know a damn clue about how to play the game.
Savage: Ohhh Yeahhhhh... So, Ken... What do you think? Odds
aren't in your favor inside that Cell...
Randy decides to raise the pot with a quarter of his remaining
chips. Kennedy looks at his hand and throws it away. Warrior
looks at his cards and grumpily decides to call Savage.
Kennedy: I've been in far worse than inside that structure,
Randy... May I remind you that I was kidnapped by that Canadian
and brought to Alaska? Man, that was far more scary than facing
all these idiots inside the Cell.

Kennedy is back in control on the outside of the ring and he
nails a suplex to the Rock! Kennedy breaks the count and picks
up the Rock, ramming his back against the side of the ring!
After multiple shots, he rolls The Great One back into the ring
and goes for a pin, getting a very close 2 count! Ken is seen
laughing it up, knowing he is in control. He slowly stomps and
slaps and punches Rock all around the ring, talking trash after
each and every blow. The crowd begins to really cheer for Rocky
and it just makes Kennedy more vicious. Kennedy slaps The Rock
one good time across the face and The Great One replies with a
slap to Kennedy! The two start trading shots until The Rock
finally gets the upper hand! Kennedy is dazed as the Rock goes
to hit the ropes but when he meets Kennedy, he is caught in
position for the Mic Check! He goes for it, but Rock holds
tight and doesn’t budge! He nails him with a back elbow to the
side of the head, tosses the arm over his head and nails him
with the Rock Bottom!!! He goes for the pin and it is just
enough to pick up the win!!
Chimel: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner of the match, THE
ROCK!!!!!!!!
Time of the match: 15:10
Dale Seltzer's Rating: ***3/4
After the match ends, Hulk Hogan shows up once again on the
ramp.
Hogan: I have a big announcement to make... Here it is... At
Champion's Glory, I've decided that the Armageddon Hell in a
Cell match... needed a special referee...
And that Special referee will ensure that whoever wins this
match will have deserved it...
That Special referee... Will be me!
The crowd responds with heavy cheers as Kennedy simply smirks at
Hogan's announcement. The show ends with the announcers hyping
the main Fusion matches at Champion's Glory and wondering how
the wrestlers in the Armageddon Hell in a Cell Match will react
to Hogan's announcement.

The Hell in a Cell wasn't enough for you! The six competitors
weren't enough for you! Now, you are involved! This is one of
your biggest power plays yet! You deserve to be relieved of our

Hey, Hulkster. Did you agree to do this ref gig to pay alimony
to Linda, or are you just so concerned with your image that you
need to be involved in some way?
Because let me tell ya, brother, your image looks like a used
condom that got rolled up and discarded from your new gal pal's
window. Which, coincidentally, happened JUST PRIOR to some
younger dude exiting the vehicle. I saw it with my own eyes,
man. You should probably know.
Regarding that whole used condom thing, yeah, that was just
about your rapidly shriveling skin.
There's just so, so much wrong with your image that I can now
understand why you're begging for more TV time.
Ya got a complex, man. Seek help.

We then see Hogan and Wilson’s various issues.

The scene shows Torrie and Kane in her brightly decorated pink
locker room. Kane is sitting down next to a coffee table and
Torrie is pacing around in a short, magenta silky robe.
Torrie: I think I should prepare my victory speech for when I
win the Hell in a Cell match. Quick! Kane, get a pen!
Torrie tosses a pen into Kane's masked face and points at him to
pick it up. He does and grabs a piece of paper.
Torrie: Eh hem... make sure you get everything, Kane.
"First off, I would like to thank me, for being so beautiful,
inspirational and so damn talented.
Secondly, I'd like to thank my parents for creating me.
Next, I'd like to thank my dog Chloe for being a loyal
companion.
And I'd also like to thank Victoria's Secret for supplying me
with cute outfits and sxxy lingerie.
And that fat chick in make-up who does my make-up before HCW
shows.
Thank you all! I am YOUR Global Champion!"
Did I miss anyone Kane?
Kane pauses and shakes his head. Torrie giggles and twirls
around in her robe before disappearing out the door.
Then finally we see Hogan glaring up at The Invasion which of
course contains Williams.
[quote author=JamesPerfitt link=topic=6.msg6927#msg6927
date=1407580323]
Douglas Williams has just heard the words of Torrie Wilson and
is laughing non stop, when he eventually stops laughing he says
these words to Torrie
Douglas Williams: I didn't realize that you had a dog Torrie, i
thought your only ugly looking, collar wearing, muzzle wearing
companion was Kane. But you cannot honestly think you stand a
chance in A Hell In a Cell match do you. You will be squashed,
squeezed and will eventually just be forgotten. you pose no
threat to me or anyone in the Cell. I Personally think the fat "
Chick" that does our make up poses a bigger threat to me than
you do. you mention all these like Your sxxy lingerie and cute
outfits, well that doesn't do anything to your in ring ability.
LONG LIVE THE INVASION
The package ends with a graphic of all six people and the cell
in the background.
TG: Well, I think that’s going to be brutal for sure. It’s panel
time…Cody, Three people for you to give me what they have to do
to win this match: Douglas Williams, Torrie Wilson and The
Rock...
Rhodes: Douglas Williams needs to watch his back, as many people
will be looking to hurt the British Invasion. Torrie needs to
stay out of sight, maybe under the ring and steal this one. The
Rock simply needs to dominate like he has and use the HCW fans
to get behind him.
TG: Cool, ok. Kev, what about Vader, Kennedy and Goldberg?
Nash: First off, I don't think Goldberg has a chance, he is as
****y as he was down south and thinks he is unstopable. He may
be undefeated in 1on1 matches since his return but this is a
different ball game and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he
was the one who got surprised with the pin. As for Kennedy, I
like Kennedy he has a big mouth but I like him. I don't think he
wins this match though. Now Vader, Vader is a whole different
type of fighter. I've never backed down from a fight but you'd
have to pay way more money than I make now to get in the cage
with guy, especially cause he is already going in to the matched
pi55ed off.
TG: Ok, and JBL who does a Hell in a Cell favour?
JBL: It favours any man that strives on carnage and there’s a
clear clue there…Bill Goldberg.
TG: Is that your pick?
JBL: Yeah, it is.
TG: Mr. Rhodes?
Rhodes: Mr. Kennedy.........Kennedy.
JBL: And finally Kev?
Nash: I'm gonna keep it short and sweet I'm gonna go with Vader
winning in grand fashion.
TG: Ok guys, thanks for that but now it’s time for another
interview…Matt?

Striker: Yes, my guest at this time... Fusion's GM and also the
special referee for the Armageddon Hell in a Cell Global Title
match, Hulk Hogan!
Hogan steps in to a great reaction. He's already wearing the
referee shirt. He looks in great shape.
Striker: Thanks for the time. Just wanna know how you feel hours
away from the PPV?
Hogan: You know, Matt... I've been hitting the gym the last few
weeks, getting myself into the best shape I can get, knowing all
too well that every member of the HCW fanbase is wondering if it
is a good idea for the Hulkster to step inside one of the most
hellacious structures this company has and referee a match of
major implications...
In short, I feel like I'm 30 years old all over again!
Striker: Some of the competitors in that match have also
wondered if you would be a impartial referee, knowing that a
member of the NWO...
Hogan: Matt, sorry to cut you off but Hulk Hogan has refereed
matches before and never I was partial to anyone... So before
all contestants go all berzerk on me, I say that they shouldn't
worry about me... The Cell is already a major thing to worry
about...
Striker: Before you leave, just wanted to know if you had any
comments on what Kennedy said...
Hogan: Matt, Kennedy is one of the premier trash-talkers in this
company. I will lose every single time if I decide to respond to
his insults. So I'll simply tell him this... I know what you
don't like about me... But you better concentrate on finding a
way to survive the Cell and the five people you're facing rather
than focus on me, brother.
Striker: Thanks once again and good luck out there tonight.
Hogan: Thanks Matt!
Striker: Back to you, guys.
TG: Our next match is one that while it was only announced last
Collision, it still could be an intriguing contest, as the CDM
Title will be defended in a stipulation our Universal Champion
will announce shortly... Daniel Bryan will defend it against
Kofi Kingston. The announcement was made at the end of the Pit
segment we saw earlier on. Let's hear what Kofi had to say about
getting the opportunity...

TG: At least I can get an interview with you Kofi, are you
nervous about your title match tonight?
Kofi: It's a big oppurtunity, I'm gonna give it my all.. And I
have my brothers in my corner I'm gonna bring home the gold just
like I hope Sting does...
TG: So, first things first, champ... Since Daniel Bryan hasn't
made his choice... What is the stipulation for the CDM Title
match tonight?
Rhodes: Lets make it a lumberjack match!
TG: Very interesting choice... Kevin, who is favored in that
type of match?
Nash: Well, all I'm gonna say is this, a Lumberjack match would
any "pack" an advantage.
TG: John, I'll cut to the chase... Who wins this match?
JBL: Kofi, simply because the sooner we can take that title out
of the very quiet Daniel Bryan, the better the title will be...
TG: Kevin, who wins?
Nash: Kofi hands down
TG: And our Universal Champion?
Rhodes: I think with this stip, Kofi has a better chance and he
will pick up the win.
TG: It will be quite the intriguing contest. I think Matt has
final special guests. Up to you, Matt.

(Matt Striker is seen backstage with Bray Wyatt and Sin Cara,
who is wearing his new wolf shaped mask)
MS: Um, I'm here with Bray Wyatt and Sin Cara of the WolfPack.
Now Bray you and Sin Cara are not in action tonight, and since
the CDM lumberjack match was just announced is it safe to say
that y'all will be ringside to help Kofi if he should need it?
Wyatt: Matt, haha it's never safe to assume anything when it
comes to the Wolfpack.. We will do whatever it is that we think
is in the best interest of everyone involved
MS: I think you mean y'all will do what is in y'all's best
interest
Wyatt: Don't tell me what you think I meant Matty boy
MS: Um okay so any thoughts on where Batista may be? He has not
been seen lately
Wyatt: Our brother Dave is simply resting and recharging his
batteries, whenever he returns, wherever that may be he will be
better than ever..
Ms: Look can I just get one straight answer..
Wyatt: haha
Ms: Okay well Sting with a second chance to bring Gold to the
Wolfpack, what would that mean to the group?
Wyatt: It would definitely help aid the change that is
inevitably coming..
Ms: Change? Who or what is changing
Wyatt: Ya see, We all Have the ability to change thE now
(memoRies) all we need is a vOice. And to defy them for THEY
tell us who to be.. Greed, Envy, and jealousy is what leads this
company now.. The Future is now.. Down with the machine..
(The lights flicker and only Sin Cara is left standing with
Striker)
Sin Cara: FOLLOW THE WOLVES!!
(Sin Cara walks off and leaves Striker standing there completely
freaked out by the interview)
TG: Our last match is our main-event, a match a lot of people
are excited to see. Our Universal Champion, Cody Rhodes, will
defend his title against "The Franchise" Shane Douglas in a
two-out-of-three falls match. The first fall is a regular one,
the second is a submission match and if a third is needed to
determine the winner, it will be a ladder match.
Let's see how things unfolded between these two...
We start the video package with footage of the Pot of Gold match
at Ground Zero, which ended with Cody becoming the first man to
defend his title inside the structure.

The crowd begins cheering as they hear that familiar music,
knowing their Universal Champion and the only man to
successfully defend his title inside Pot of Gold is about to
show up! Cody bursts through the curtains and the crowd gets
even louder upon sight of him! He looks incredibly excited and
who can blame him after his big win! He slaps hands with fans
all the way down and finally enters the ring, grabbing a mic as
well.
Boy, it feels good to get to walk down that entrance ramp as the
Universal Champion. It feels great to get to stand in this ring
as the Universal Champion. It feels incredible getting to
defend this Universal Champion. But standing in this ring,
looking at all you people and getting to tell you that I am YOUR
2014 POT OF GOLD WINNER AND STILL YOUR UNIVERSAL
CHAMPION…..well, I don’t know what to call that but I can tell
you I sure as hell love it and I never want it to end!
The crowd begins chanting “Cody! Cody! Cody!” as the champ
grins.
God, I love that! But, on to the reasons I came out here.
First, as I mentioned, I won Pot of Gold so I get to make all
the decisions regarding our next PPV! I say we give this bad
boy a name, and rather than pander it any longer, I’m gonna go
with the first name that came to my mind…Champion’s Glory! And
Champion’s Glory is gonna have that name for one reason. Every
champion gets to choose the stipulation to their match, and
every champion will be defending their title.
The crowd cheer, excited about all the interesting match-ups
they could see.
We then see how Shane Douglas became the number one contender.

As the first notes are played, the crowd gives a pretty good
positive reaction to the number one contender for the Universal
Championship, Shane Douglas. He slowly makes his way towards the
ring, as the announcers are wondering what he's doing here,
since he doesn't have a match.
Shane, as soon as he enters the ring, asks for a microphone as
the crowd keeps the positive love for the Franchise.
Shane: As you probably already know, I ain't known to talk a
lot... Maybe back in the days of the Revolution, I was the
loudest man in the room but lately, I mind my own business. When
I'm asked to compete, not only I do it, but I also do it as only
I can do. And my record lately shows it...
Two weeks ago, I won Beat the Clock, which allows me to get what
I've always desperately wanted... A one on one shot at the top
prize in the game... The Universal Championship...
And for once... I indeed have something to say... Cody Rhodes...
Crowd gives a great reaction to Cody's name being heard.
Shane: I know you're here... And I've never been afraid of
talking to an opponent's face... So why don't you come here so
we take care of all the talking cr@p before we can settle this
in the ring at Champion's Glory? And you better come quick,
because I hate to waste people's time doing nothing...
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKkvy0BW6hQ
Smoke and Mirrors hits and the crowd begin to cheer as out comes
the Universal Champion with his belt around his waist and a mic
in hand. He seems a bit more serious than usual but still
excited to be on FUSiON. He enters the ring and comes face to
face with Shane.
I'm here. What do you have to say to me?
Shane: Two things... First, congratulations on becoming the
longest reigning Universal Champion in HCW's several-year
history...
Secondly... You know how much I respect the Rhodes bloodline...
I truly think you've become a special kid, Cody...
Cody smirks and nods.
Thank you Shane, that means alot.
Shane: You've held the belt for what... More than an entire year
now?
440 days to be exact.
Shane: And for most of those 440 days, you've been portrayed as
the underdog... When you faced Kurt the first time, everybody
thought that you were going to lose
And then, when he had his rematch, nobody expected you to beat
him in two straight falls... Then, it was the Swiss Superman and
the threat of his fellow Un-Americans... Then, it was Taz and
his undefeated non-title record against you... Then, it was
Steiner who had everything to lose...
And finally, the Pot of Gold match where no champ had defended
his belt... What I wanted to say is that for those 440 days,
you've been looked as the underdog... An underdog that everyone
wanted to see win, but an underdog nonetheless...
And now, after 440 days I'm finally not. Is that what you were
going to say? And let me guess, now that I'm not the underdog,
I won't come out on top? Is that what you think Shane?
Shane: With a smirk Well, it's good that you've came to that
conclusion. You've been loving every single minute that you've
held that title and who would blame you, Cody. But the reality
is that now... People expect you to win... When the title is on
the line, people expect you to somehow find a way to turn things
your way. There's not many people who will think that I can beat
you at Champion's Glory. And you know what... I love being the
underdog...
Well its a good thing you like being the underdog Shane because
you are. And thats not me saying you aren't a tremendous
competitor because you are. It's just anybody going against the
longest reigning HCW Champion would be an underdog, that's a
plain and simple fact. And although I may not be an underdog
anymore, NOTHING and I mean nothing else has changed. I'm still
the same guy these fans love.
Crowd pops a little bit but its not as loud as Cody expected.
I'm still the guy who has taken on all comers!
The fans give a slightly better reaction and Cody smirks.
And after I beat you in our 2 out of 3 falls, I WILL STILL BE
UNIVERSAL CHAMPION!
This gets an even better reaction and Cody nods his head.
Now thats what I'm talking about! Shane, I'm telling you, when
you step inside the ring with me at Champion's Glory, it will
not be like any other match you have ever been in. When this
title is on the line, I take it up to a whole new level and
NOBODY, not Angle, not the Un-Americans, not Taz, not Steiner
and not even you can stop me!
Shane: Hmm... I like that attitude... I will give you the
respect you deserve as the Universal Champion that you are...
But I will simply tell you this, Cody. I've went through hell,
too... And if you underestimate me, you will end up just like
the man you took that title from... Because... I want you to
remember these words very clearly, these are the last I'll throw
at you before Champion's Glory...
Maybe the only man who can beat Cody Rhodes for that title... Is
Cody Rhodes himself!
Cody: Well in that case, I'm sure as hell happy I'm stepping
into the ring with Shane Douglas and not Cody Rhodes. Good luck
Shane...
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg6881#msg6881
date=1406870427]We start the show with Shane Douglas already
inside the ring, a mic in hand... The crowd gives him a good
reaction.
Shane: I know that last week, I've said that what I said back
then would be my last words before Champion's Glory... But what
I saw earlier tonight simply gave me no other choices... Here's
what happened earlier tonight...
The TitanTron shows Cody walking towards some place... And
besides him... Paul Heyman! The crowd doesn't know what to think
as the video shows them discussing something but the sound isn't
very great. Than, the Tron fades to black as Shane is seen
shaking his head.
Shane: Sincerely, I don't know what you two were up to... But
Cody, let me tell you this before I beat our Global Champion...
Don't trust Paul Heyman... Every single time he associates
himself with someone... That someone gets tricked into whatever
master plan he has in mind... Believe me... I know it...
And I ****ing hope that you ain't planning anything with him
concerning our match because I'll be even more happy to kick
your ass and become the Universal Champion!
Some cheers... Some boos... Anyway, the crowd is quite divided
by Shane's last words. But as soon as Vader's entrance music is
heard, heavy boos are thrown at the Global Champion...
After the match, Shane got up and wasn't happy... And then, the
Universal Champion made a beeline towards the ring and
immediately went at Shane's face for quite the heated
discussion. But before shots could be thrown, a group of road
agents got in between both men. Both guys didn't look quite
happy as we went to our first commercial break of the
evening.
A CHAMPION TRYING TO ADD TO HIS LEGACY...
We see some in-ring footage from Cody at his best.
A CHALLENGER TRYING TO FINALIZE HIS QUEST FOR REDEMPTION...
We then see some in-ring footage from Shane at his best before
the video package ends with both guys staring each other...
TG: I'll start with John. Is Shane inside our champion's head?
JBL: Not at all... Shane's playing some childish games on our
champion... For God's Sake! Cody has been champion for almost
500 days... He has seen plenty of different competitors and
different approaches and yet he always prevails. Shane can try
his absolute best, at the end, it will be decided inside the
ring.
TG: Big Kev, I know our champion will be all ear... How must he
approach this match?
Nash: I hear everyone talking about how this will be Cody's
easiest defense. My only advise for you champ, is don't buy into
the hype, prepare like this is your toughest battle. Don't let
up.
TG: Now, Cody, I must ask the question for the entire HCW fan
base... What was going on in that video we saw last Fusion with
you having a discussion with Paul Heyman?
Rhodes: Well, Paul was for one, congratulating me on all my
recent success. Secondly, he was merely telling me to keep
things fresh as champion and not stay complacent. Brilliant
words from a brilliant man. Shane may try to paint me as the
bad guy but it's a feeble attempt to rattle me. I know who I
am. I'm the Universal Champion. And he is simply "The Franchise"
Shane Douglas.
TG: I won't ask you who's gonna win the match...
Rhodes: "The REAL Franchise of HCW" Cody Rhodes is my answer,
whether you want to hear it or not.
TG: For you, Big Kev?
Nash: I gotta go with the champ in 3 falls.
TG: And John, you think our champion can keep the longest
Universal Title reign alive?
JBL: He will. Shane can bring his absolute best... It's not
enough to beat Cody when the gold is on the line.
TG: Ok, well we're out of time...thanks to Matt Striker, Jerry
Lawler, Jim Ross, John Bradshaw Layfield, Kevin Nash and Cody
Rhodes...I've been Todd Grisham, bye folks and be sure to watch
Champions Glory!
There's a decent cheer to end the Pre-Show and we go to black
with the theme song playing loud.
