HCW Colleseum 2014 Pre-Show
By: ControversyPersonified Date: December 18, 2014, 5:53 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
The opening HCW videos hit and we see a video package
highlighting previous winners of The Battle Royal and big
eliminations, with the ten to zero countdown from the crowd in
the background, before we show a big zoomed out birds eye view
of Chicago before slowly zooming in to see the United Center!
We’re in the usual skybox, with Todd Grisham welcoming us to the
Pre-Show!
TG: It’s that time again…Pre-Show time! We’re in the gradually
filling United Center for the last PPV before Birth of
Destruction VII, Colleseum! I’m here in a Skybox with three men
that’ll help me set the stage for every match on the Colleseum
card! So ladies and gentlemen, our panel! First off he is the
current GM of Collision and this will be his first PPV in that
position, Jonathan Coachman!
Coach waves to the camera.
TG: And we’ve got a commentator for the event, Michael Cole
along for the Pre-Show!
Coach nods as Grisham introduces him, smiling.
TG: And we have the manager for Bill Goldberg and Dolph Ziggler,
Triple H along too.
HHH doesn’t really show much recognition to the calling of his
name, choosing to concentrate on chewing his gum instead.
TG: But we’re going to make you wait a little longer for the
first bit of action, tonight. We’re going to go back to our last
PPV, Nowhere to Run.
The PPV starts with a cracking match with Dolph Ziggler
defeating Daniel Bryan. We actually don’t see a great deal of
the Deathmatch, with it being very violent but with Drake
Younger coming out on top. Then, the big fight feel came back
for The Invasion v nWo match with Jr. as the guest referee, with
the main points of the match shown with a win for the nWo and a
loss for The British Invasion. After that, the Goldberg vs Vader
highlights are shown with Mr. Kennedy being the guest referee
and very much sticking it to Hogan after the match. Immediately
after we see The Shield dominate the group formerly known as The
Wolfpack, sweeping the board with them. The Cage of Death then
lowers ominously, and Jeff Hardy somehow beats HBK in the horrid
structure. Then, amid controversy, the longest Universal
Champion in history Cody Rhodes managed to prise his title back
from Shane Douglas. We go back to the skybox with the image of
Cody lifting the title up high.
TG: It was an unforgettable show that’s for sure, Coach, what
did you enjoy the most out of that?
JC: Well, I’ve got to say there was some brutality and I loved
it, Cage of Death, the Deathmatch. Brutal.
TG: It was certainly, how about you Michael?
Cole: The nWo finally putting The Invasion was a moment to be
savoured, despite not many people backing them to win I was so
glad to see them shut the brits up for a while.
TG: Careful, Cole, don’t want you to be attacked by them…Triple
H?
HHH: I thought it was funny seeing Dolph Ziggler beat Daniel
Bryan up and pin him for the one…two…three.
TG:…Right. Well, first things first we’re going straight to Mick
Foley’s office to…
All of a sudden, we see the scene cut to William Regal. He is
sat in Invasion HQ with a cigarette and a beer, we zoom out and
see Wade Barrett, Brutus Magnus, Adrian Neville and Douglas
Williams are flanking him.
WR: People are asking questions. Why? Why oh why? Why’ve I asked
Cesaro to aid us. Why do you think? After that masked assailant
struck with a double knee to Magnus, you need more back up…and
desperate times call for desperate measures…
We then see Cesaro come forward and join the group. Boos are
very heavy now towards one of the most hated man in HCW's
history.
Cesaro: It sure has been some time... I will say that I surely
didn't miss that American bad attitude...
Heavier boos.
Cesaro: You wanna have answers to your questions? Well... You
ain't deserving of these answers... But I will still enlighten
you, poor people from Chicago!
Boos are defeaning...
Cesaro: You see... The reason why me, Christian and Jericho left
the company is because management so badly wanted Christian to
face his brother several months ago. We tried to arrange things
with management but they wouldn't budge... So, we've decided to
leave. We decided that competing was no longer the thing we
wanted to do.
So, we went our own ways and we did some acting gigs and other
jobs... And then, I've received the call from Mr. Regal. He
basically told me that his group needed a shot in the arm to
finally annihilate the NWO. They had tried to talk to Christian
and Chris about joining them but they both refused and referred
to me as the guy they need.
Hence the call... I wasn't sure at first. I had no intentions of
returning to this rotten company... I was happy doing what I was
doing. Regal was understanding and gave me some time to think it
over.
One night, I was watching TV and I ended up switching
inadvertently to Fusion. And I saw the sight of John Cena...
Mixed reaction from Chicago's fans.
Cesaro: Basically, that sight made me wanting to puke and
reminded why I hated John Cena and the NWO so much back in the
days... So, I then called Regal back and told him that I would
show up at a time where they won't see it coming...
Hence what happened at the end of Fusion... So here I am... I'm
back... And it so happens to be the time where Colleseum is
around the corner...
I think this Battle Royal wouldn't be complete without the man
who won it last year, am I right, William?
WR: Exactly, exactly. We've got this appointment right, I know
that. The strongest pound for pound man in HCW will be here to
definitely make sure that an Invasion member gets to the main
event for Bound for Glory. Simple.
Suddenly, the NWO's theme is heard and all four members of the
group step on the ramp, all staring at the Titan Tron.
WR: Not hiding behind your staff buddies this week, lads?
Cena: Let me tell you something, William. Whoever in our group
goes into the Battle Royal... We will make sure to take those
smug smiles out of your faces.
Especially, you, Tony. I owe you an Attitude Adjustment, you
know?
Cesaro: Oh god! The Angry Cena wants a piece of me... If you do
get in the Battle Royal, good luck doing it...
Suddenly, Hogan's theme is heard and Hogan quickly gets to the
ramp, mic in hand.
Hogan: Cesaro... That was one despicable action you did last
Fusion. One that needs to be punished...
But don't worry, you will still compete in the Battle Royal...
But to defend your win of last year... You'll have to start that
as the number one entrant!
Crowd cheers as Regal doesn't look to pleased. Cesaro doesn't
react, though.
Cesaro: I don't mind that... I proved last year that starting
with a low number can still lead to success.
Hogan goes to respond but Cena is whispering something in his
ear. We can hear that Hogan doesn't love Cena's idea but Cena is
too convincing at the end.
Hogan: Cesaro... John just requested me something... If somehow,
he loses the Synergy Tag Team Title match... He will be entrant
number two!
Cesaro just smiles as Cena gets excited.
Hogan: And if you win the titles, Cena, Seth Rollins will then
take your spot!
The crowd gives a good reaction as we go back to the guys up
top.
TG: Ok, we’re back. We apologise for that, that’s just The
Invasion doing as they please as usual. Now, as you can see
Coach has disappeared off temporarly, and I can tell you why. At
various points tonight we’ll be visiting Mick Foley’s office
where I understand Hulk, Mick and Coach will be present to
supervise all superstars in the Battle Royal drawing their
number, so we can go there right now!
We go to Foley's office, where Coach, Foley and Hogan are
sitting close to the big abacus where all the numbers (Outside
of number one and two, who were given early on in the show.) We
pan out though and see close to Hogan is Jr, who Hogan looks
rather annoyed at being there. We first see all four members of
the NWO coming inside. They have a good hug with Hogan and Foley
and exchange a few kind words with Coach and Jr, before Bret,
Show and Rock go pick their numbers. Cena stays behind. Bret is
the first to draw his number and we do see a slight smile on his
face as he gives it to Coach. Rock then draws his number and he
raises the People's Eyebrow to the number he sees before giving
the paper to Coach. Finally, Show picks his number and after
seeing it, gives it to the Collision's GM.
Hogan: Rock, Cena, if you win the Synergy Tag Team Titles...
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins take your spots in the Battle
Royal. Good luck out there, guys!
The NWO leaves the room as we go back to the guys up top.
TG: Well there’s the first few out the way, The Mean Girls
adding more fuel to the lawsuit fire with what seemed like poor
draws there. Now it’s time for our first match of the Pre-Show!
Let’s see Homicide vs Jimmy Jacobs, Battle Royal spot on the
line!
The two men make their entrances and are in the ring waiting on
the match to start. Both men have been considered under dogs for
most of their HCW careers due to their smaller stature, both men
very dangerous in their own right. Both have shown that they can
compete with anyone but their win loss record hasn’t always
reflected this. A win in this match and strong showing in the
battle royal could propel both of these wrestlers careers to new
and exciting heights. The intensity and desire to win is seen in
the two competitors eyes. The ref calls for the bell and this
match is under way.
They lockup and Homicide sends Jacobs into the ropes and goes
for a big clothesline but Jacobs ducks it and hits Homicide with
a big round house kick. Jacobs then begins to buld momentum
hitting a couple big kicks, then sends Homicide to the ropes and
goes for a big drop kick but misses it and Homicide takes
advantage of the miscue and it’s a big ace crusher on Jacobs.
Charles Robinson: ONE.. TWO.. TH…
Jacobs kicks out at the absolute last second. Homicide is
looking frustrated and begins kicking Jacobs not allowing him to
get up. Homicide then locks Jacobs into a chokehold and it looks
like Jacobs is fading out but after a few seconds finally
reaches the ropes to break the hold. Homicide continues kicking
Jacobs trying to keep him on the ground and remain in control of
this match. Homicide then goes up to the top rope and goes for a
missile drop kick but Jacobs moves out of the way. Once Homicide
recovers Jacobs grabs him and goes for sliced bread #2 but
Homcide blocks it and sends Jacobs into the corner hard.
Homicide then hits a big brain buster on Jacobs and pins him in
the middle of the ring.
Charles Robinson: ONE.. TWO.. THR...
Once again Jacobs kicks out at the last second Homicide s
clearly frustrated and begins arguing with the ref allowing
Jacobs to regain some of his composure. Homicide then picks up
Jacobs and goes for a big kick to the head of Jacobs but Jacobs
blocks it and attempts to send Homicide into the ropes but
Homicide reverses it and hits a big back drop on Jacobs.
Homicide yet again goes for the pin..
Charles Robinson: ONE.. TWO.. THRE…
Just as Robinsons hand is coming down for the three cobs kicks
out. At this point Homicide has lost all control of his emotions
and looks extremely pi55ed and continues arguing with the ref.
While Homicide is arguing with the ref Jacobs rolls out of the
ring and tries to regain his composure but he is clearly
hurting. Homicide rolls out of the ring under the bottom rope
and grabs a tire iron form under the ring and begins choking out
with it and sends him head first into the ring post. Jacobs is
busted open from this vicious attack and is bleeding horribly.
Homicide then rolls Jacobs into the ring and goes for another
Ace Crusher to end the match but Jacobs blocks it and hits a big
dropkick out of nowhere. Jacobs continues trying to build some
offense but at this point is nowhere near 100 percent and has
lost a large amount of blood. Jacobs continues building his
offence until Homicide reverses and irish whip and kicks Jacobs
in the midsection and hits Powerbomb out of nowhere. Jacobs is
out cold but instead of going for the pin Homicide picks up
Jacobs and goes for another Ace Crusher which Jacobs reverses
into a small package..
Charles Robinson: ONE.. TWO..
Homicide kicks out rather easily but is getting furious that
Jacobs is still fighting back. Homicide sends Jacobs into the
corner and goes for a spear in the corner but Jacobs moves out
of the way and Homicide crashes into the turnbuckle hard with
his shoulder. Homicide then turns around right into an arm lock
leg sweep ddt. Jacobs is starting to build some momentum and
hits some big kicks on Homicide. Homicide then reverses and
irish whip and goes for a vertical suplex that Jacobs blocks and
out of nowhere Jacobs hits his Barry Driver on Homicide in the
middle of the ring. But Jacobs is unable to make the cover as he
has lost a lot of blood. As a result both men are out cold in
the middle of the ring. The ref begins making the ten count but
when he gets to six, Jacobs crawls and places his arm across
Homicide’s chest..
Charles Robinson: ONE.. TWO.. THREE..
Jimmy Jacobs pinned Homicide with the Barry White Driver
in 0:22:59.
Rating: *** ¾
Tenay: What a match to kick off Colleseum, and this is only the
pre-show. Imagine how good the rest of the show will be.
JBL: I tell you what Mike. That was a bogus match, Charles
Robinson should of stopped it when Jacobs was busted open.
Homicide was cheated.
Tenay: Are you crazy? Jimmy Jacobs took everything Homicide
could dish out and still came out on top. The kid deserved that
win. Hopefully he isn’t too injured to compete in the spot that
he just earned into the Battle Royal later. We will keep
everyone updated on his condition as the show goes on.
We go back up to the skybox.

TG: Cracking start, congratulations to Jimmy Jacobs who’s just
started winning at the right time, but now we go to our first

on and stems back to a brutal match at the Nowhere to Run PPV.
Let’s take a look.
Our package opens with the last stage of the Deathmatch at
Nowhere to Run.

JC: Now, I hear Edge doesn’t seem best pleased with Kofi
Kingston as of late. Kofi has a choice as to whether he wants to
use his rematch for the CDM Title or not. I want to know this
before I announce the card for next week, but before this, Kofi
has a match against the afore mentioned Rated R Superstar. I’m
not going to let up on Kofi’s brutal week though, as he’s going
to face Edge in a match where Steel Chairs will be legal!

There’s a small alternating Kofi/Edge chants.

Edge sees his match and gets an evil grin.
Edge: I see Coachman hasn't forgotten my skill set. Kofi, this
chairs match is very bad for you. I can hear the symphony of
steel crashing against your face. Kofi, I think I will play a
con-chair to just for you.

Chairs Match
Edge v Kofi Kingston
Edge looked happier than we’ve seen him for a while, as he
walked to the ring and passed the full row of 10 chairs ready
for use on the ramp. A pretty beat up Kofi Kingston made a less
energetic than usual way to the ring, choosing not to look at
the chairs on the way by. The match began mostly with Kofi doing
nearly anything to prevent Edge going outside to retrieve the
chairs. He even managed to hit an SOS, but you could tell it was
a rushed one with not much thought as he barely nailed it and
Edge got out pretty quickly at 2.
Eventually though, Edge got the advantage with an Edge-o-Matic
and quickly slid out the ring in the direction of the row of
chairs parked not too far from the ring. He picked one up but as
he did that Kofi had sprung out the ring toward Edge with a
Springboard Cross Body but Edge just swung the chair and Kofi
hit the hard floor. Edge gave Kofi a few body shots with the
chair before discarding it and picking up a new chair and
putting it in the ring. When Kofi came back in, he was greeted
with a Steel Chair shot to the Skull, no messing on from Edge.
Eventually though, Kofi came back. He even went to get a chair
and hit a flapjack on to the chair while it was seated. While
Edge was down, Kofi placed the chair on Edge, ran the ropes and
hit a Boom Drop for two. Kofi seemed to get another idea and
went outside to grab a third steel chair and as Edge got up,
Kofi threw the chair at Edge who caught it and went for Trouble
in Paradise but Edge ducked down, threw the chair down and
nailed an Edgecution on the chair! The near enough academic
three count didn’t happen as Kofi kicked out! This just angered
Edge who went into the corner and measured for The Spear! He
nailed it too, and managed to pick up the three count!
Winner: Edge via Spear at 17:32
Match Rating: ****1/4

Todd Grisham catches up to Edge in the hall.
Todd: Edge, if you could give us a word.
Edge grins then nods.
Edge: What'd would you like to know? I mean, No, there wasn't a
concherto. Turns out, we didn't need one. Kofi will hopefully

JC: So, a lot of you might be wondering why Edge is still in my
office watching me announce the card…simple. Edge has been
impressive lately and as you know I’ve granted him a way into
the CDM Title picture. The way he gets a number one contenders
spot? Well he’ll face the Champion in another chairs match. If
he wins, then he’s going to Colleseum as part of the CDM
Championship match…it’ll be a Triple Threat match, of course.

Chairs Match – Non Title, if Edge wins the CDM Title
Match at Colleseum is a Triple Threat
Edge v Drake Younger
Edge came out first to a good reaction. Younger came in
afterwards, to a good yet a little quiet reaction from the fans.
The announcers expressed how big this match is for both men as
Edge wants in the CDM Title match and Drake don't want to see
the match become a triple threat.
Early on, the action was inside the ring as Younger tried to
out-wrestle the veteran and former CDM Champion... It wasn't a
rousing success so Younger brought the fight to Edge, who gladly
answered with shots of his own. A mistake would allow Drake to
bring several chairs inside the ring. He then hit a vicious shot
to the head, causing Edge to bleed.
Younger then tried to punish Edge by hitting several moves into
the sea of chairs but the Canadian showed his legendary
resiliency. Edge fought back, using the chair to inflict damage
to the champion. A powerbomb into the chair nearly got the win
for Edge but the action spilled again on the outside, where
Younger took control, hitting a moonsault that broke the
announcing table. He then brought the action back inside and
goes up top before hitting a Frog Splash for a near fall. He
then hits a Northern Lights Suplex for another near fall.
Drake started to get frustrated but a intended chair shot to
Edge missed the mark. Edge then ran into the ropes for the Spear
but Younger ducked and the poor ref got taken out. Younger used
it to catch Edge by surprise with Drake's Landing but since
there was no ref, no count. Younger then decided to roll Edge on
his back and place a chair under his head.
Drake was thinking of hitting Edge's own Con-Chair-To but as he
swung the chair back, Edge quickly got up and caught the champ
with the Impaler DDT right on the chair. As the ref started to
finally come to his senses, Edge went for the Spear but Younger
ducked again. Drake then tried for the Backdrop Driver but Edge
pushed him into the ropes. Younger went for a clothesline but
Edge ducked and with the momentum of the ropes, he catches Drake
with a thunderous Spear for the win and a spot in the CDM Title
Match!
Winner: Edge at 20:39
Match Rating: ****
Cole: It now means that the CDM Title match is now a triple
threat!
JBL: Edge has pinned both him and Kofi in the last two shows. We
are maybe looking at the new champion!
Tenay: This was an outstanding match, gentlemen!
Cole: Indeed. Everyone in the crowd is pretty happy it seems.
Anyway, we'll be back with more action after a short break.

We see The Coach in the ring.
JC: I’ve got a few things to go over, the first of which
concerns the Crimson Deathmatch Title…as you all know, Edge won
a match last week to qualify for a CDM Title match, making it a
Triple Threat match. So what sort of match will it be? Well,
this will be an innovative match that I know hasn’t been done
before. It’ll be a Triple Threat Elimination match, with a
couple of very special twists. To start off with, it’ll be a
tables match. Whoever goes through the table is then eliminated
from the match which leaves two men, who will contest a Ladder
match with the CDM Title hanging high above the ring!
The crowd like it…
We then see highlights of the six man tag match involving all
three men in this match.

*Matt Striker walks in*
MS: So Drake, how are you feeling after your match at NoWhere to
Run?
Younger: I'm feeling on top of the world. I just became the CDM
Champion just like I said I would Matt.
MS: Congrats on that! Do you think Kofi will cash in that
rematch?
Younger: Well Matt, Kofi is one hell of a competitor and I'm
sure he wants this back, so yes I'm sure he will. Now weather or
not he'll win is a whole different story because I'm not losing
this title to anybody. I'm the King of DeathMatch and anyone who
steps in the ring with me will find that out.

Kofi and sin cara have seen the card for collesum
Kofi : Drake and edge, you both might want to prepare for the
battle royal rather than our title match. You both know that you
stand more of a chance in the battle royal. Neither of you will
stand tall, both of you are going to fall. You will both be in
trouble, at it will be in Paradise.
Sin cara and Kofi : We got the whole world in our hands .
The package then ends with various clips of Younger beating
people like Morgan, Ziggler, Kingston and Batista, Edge with the
CDM Title, then finally Kingston with the title before we go to
the skybox.
TG: Well, not a great deal of talking there but I’m sure these
men will make up for it in the ring. Let’s for the first time
tonight go to the analysis part, first off, Triple H. Who do you
think all the match with it's couple of different stipulations
and elimination format suits most?
HHH: Edge. Since it involves tables and ladders... It's right
down his alley. It will be for Younger and Kofi to prove me
wrong.
TG: Alright, Coach, as the Collision GM, you made this match a
Triple Threat, stacking the deck against Drake Younger. Why was
this?
JC: Well I couldn’t ignore Kofi’s rematch clause, a problem with
Kofi would be a problem with the disciples and nobody wants
that. However, you can’t ignore Edge with his form and the
history he has with the title. No complains from Younger and
Kingston, they must like the challenge.
TG: Ok Coach, Michael, you know for a fact that no man goes into
a match in a HCW ring at 100%, but who is the closest to this?
Cole: Younger is used to taking punishment, where as Kofi
perhaps isn’t, and he has been in a couple of brutal matches.
Edge, who’s won two chairs match has just been in Singles
matches, so he is as close as you can be to 100%.
TG: Ok, predictions time. Coach?
JC: Edge for me. He’s a strong favourite.
TG: Do you agree Hunter?
HHH: Edge is definitely my pick, Todd.
TG: And Cole.
Cole: I don’t think Kofi stands much chance, despite a nice
victory over Steiner on Collision. The pressure of being
favourite might get to Edge, I’ll go for Younger.
TG: Ok guys, cheers. Now we’re going to go to Renee Young, where
she is joined by Edge. Renee?
We go to the interview green screen with Renee Young smiling at
the camera.

RY: My guest at this time, one of the competitors in the CDM
title match, the Rated-R Superstar, Edge!
Edge: Why, Hello Renee.
Crowd gives a good reaction to Edge arriving to the spot.
RY: Edge, you are competing in a triple threat elimination match
for the title tonight. With you pinning Kofi and Younger in
consecutive weeks, would it be normal to consider you the
favorite?
Edge: You could say that. But I am not stupid enough to be
overconfident either. I have been around the block a time or
two. I was the original Crimson Deathmatch Champion and will be
again tonight.
RY: Also, with the first fall being a table match and the second
being a ladder, do you feel that your experience could be a
tipping point in this upcoming contest?
Edge: Have you ever seen a TLC match? Tables, ladders, they are
my playground.
RY: Understood... One last question. If you lose this title
match, you will still be competing in the Battle Royal. What
would be your thoughts going in to that match if you do compete
in it?
Edge: I am the ultimate opportunist Renee, what will be going
though my mind is to be keeping my eyes open for the opportunity
that sends me to the grandest stage of them all to face the
Universal Champion. f course, I don't see my self in the battle
royal. I will be wearing a new title around my waist tonight.
RY: Good luck tonight and thanks for taking the time.
Edge nods and walks off toward his locker room.
RY: Back to you, guys!
TG: Edge looks ready! Now as you can see Coach has left to join
Mick Foley and Hulk Hogan just round the corner in Foley’s
office. Let’s go there now:
We return to the room where the number entry drawing is going
on. Up next... The NWO's major rivals, the British Invasion. Of
course, Regal is with them and we have a lot of tension inside
the room. Nothing is said, though, as Barrett, Williams, Magnus
and Neville draw their numbers, show them to Regal and then give
them to Coach. We have a staredown between Regal and the two
honourary members of the NWO as the group leaves.
As soon as they do, the Mean Girls, flanked by Kane, arrives to
the room. They of course throw a smug face at Hogan while they
each go for a number. Both don't look too happy about their
numbers.
Torrie: Are you sure this isn't rigged? That wouldn't surprise
us...
Coach: Please give me your numbers, ladies!
The ladies aren't happy but they finally give the numbers and
they quickly leave the room. Hogan tries to take a look but Jr
makes sure Coach keeps hold of them. We go back to the guys up
top.
TG: Well, those Mean Girls adding more fuel to the fire with
their continuing issues with Hulk Hogan…
Coach retakes his seat.
TG: How was that Coach?
JC: Uncomfortable. Could feel the tension on both occasions.
TG: Not surprising, now we go to The Global Title scene though,
and the title over the past few months has gone from Vader to
Goldberg and back to Vader again. This will be the last
encounter for that title, in a Last Man Standing match. Let’s
take a look.
The package begins with all the falls from the previous three
matches between the two, before we see Goldberg a bit annoyed.

my manager..
Ms: But I just need one quick word..

Hogan:I will talk about the Global Title picture for a second.
You see, Bill Goldberg is maybe on a little losing streak but he
will get one last chance at the Global Title at Colleseum
against Vader. And it will be the last match between these two
powerhouses. So, to finally clarify who's the best between these
two, I have decided that their match at Colleseum will be a Last
Man Standing Match!
The crowd gives it a small positive reaction because both men

Heenan: I'm not going to keep wasting my breath on a new guy
like you. Vader has bigger fish to fry. The dumb fish named
Goldberg is the fish to fry.
(Heenan sighs)
I am not shocked that Hogan decided to put Vader in a last man
standing match. It seems that Hogan understands the brutality
that Vader can put people through and he clearly wants to see
Goldberg suffer just like he did at the hands of Vader. While
many may be shocked that I'm not upset at this announcement, I
am actually very excited. Vader loves last man standing matches
mainly because he is always the one to be left standing. He
isn't afraid to go to war once more with Goldberg. Vader knows
the risks. He knows the level of violence which will unfold in
front of millions of people. With all of that, he still knows
how to be the last man standing! He is the most vicious,
unforgiving monster in HCW and Goldberg will bear witness to
that. All will bear witness to Vader's destruction yet again!
Vader will remain Global champion as always and be the last man
standing!
Vader: Goldberg, YOU'RE NEXT! IT'S TIME! IT'S TIME! IT'S VADER
TIME!

(Heenan and Vader are backstage. Heenan is pacing back and forth
as Vader stands resolute)
Heenan: You know what I think when I think of Goldberg?
Overrated, inadequate, roid rage, pathetic, dumb, white trash,
and so much more! I say all those thing because they are true.
He is a fluke. His attack on Vader this past week was hardly
noteworthy. Yeah, maybe he laid a little pain on Vader, but so
what? Any person in the world can get a jump on an unsuspecting
individual. Goldberg tried to prove a point and he failed.
At Colleseum, it doesn't matter what Goldberg has done in the
past. What matters is what the two men in the ring do to each
other. When the situation comes to that, the clear outcome is
Vader remains champion! Vader has been on a roll ever since
taking back his title and his roll will continue. We have proven
that if the Hogan never was involved in that Hell in a Cell all
those days ago then Vader would still be champion because
Goldberg did not deserve it.
This is the story of Goldberg's career. He hasn't deserved
anything. He gets a few wins here and there, but he is nothing
but a hype machine. He pumps everyone up only to let everyone
down. He is the Johnny Manziel of wrestling. All hype, no
result. You see Vader is a proven warrior. He has destroyed. He
has conquered. He is a deserving champion because of all that.
Vader, week in and week out, proves that he is the Global
Champion for a reason. He proves why he is the Mastodon of HCW!
Nobody can touch the podium he is on. Few can catch a glimpse of
what lies on the podium, but Vader will only step on their hands
for them to fall back down.
The facts are here. I am the Brain and he is the Mastodon and
together, nothing can stop us from reaching any goal. Vader is a
wrecking ball which swings back and forth constantly destroying
everything before it. If I were you Goldberg, I would not be in
the way, but I guess its too late for that.
Vader is angry. He is tired of you constantly trying to prove
that your on the same level as him. He knows that you're not!
Nobody is! The Universal Champion isn't even on the same level
and the only reason why Vader hasn't gotten that title is that
he is too busy proving why he is the best Global Champion in
history! You're going to get hurt, Goldberg. It's the reality
that you'll face soon enough!
As for you Triple H, you may be "The Game" and "The Cerebral
Assassin", but I do not care. You do not have the plans that I
do. I'm always steps ahead. I've been steps ahead from the very
start of Vader's feud with Goldberg! You may always have a plan
B, but I have plans that go through the entire alphabet beyond.
There's always a plan and Vader's victory lies at the end of
every plan!
At Collesseum, Vader is going to remain Global Champion. He is
to show why he is the Mastodon of HCW!
Vader: IT'S TIME! IT'S TIME! IT'S VADER TIME! GOLDBERG, YOU'RE
NEXT!

Singles Match
Bill Goldberg (W/HHH) vs Jimmy Jacobs
Goldberg brought back the action inside, where Jacobs fought
back with some aerial moves but Goldberg regained control by
catching a flying crossbody attempt and hitting a fallaway slam.
He looked ready to finish this... But suddenly, Vader and Heenan
came at ringside. Hunter has words with Heenan, which forces the
ref to focus on the two.
While it was happening, Goldberg, who was focused on Jacobs, who
was trying to get up, got hit with a right hand to the back of
the head. We only see after the shot is given that Vader had
brass knuckles on his hand. Goldberg seems out cold. Jacobs gets
up and sees the opportunity. He slowly picks Goldberg up and
then hits the Devil Lock DDT. The ref finally focuses back on
the action as Jacobs was making the cover... For the three count
and his first win!
Winner: Jimmy Jacobs at 7:18
Match Rating: *1/4
Cole: Jimmy Jacobs has won his first match in HCW... But not
with some controversy...

Non-Title Match
Homicide vs Vader
Every time Homicide tried to add to his momentum, Vader crushed
it with a power move. Homicide then tried to catch Vader off
guard with the 187 Cutter, but Vader pushes him away. He then
crushes him with a vicious lariat. He then tried for his
dangerous powerbomb but Homicide countered it beautifully into a
frankensteiner and a very near fall.
Homicide then tried Da Gringo Killa... But Vader was too big and
he countered it by hitting a vicious powerbomb for the three
count and the win.
Winner: Vader at 18:29
Match Rating: ***
JBL: Another win for Vader... And he isn't done yet!
Cole: He's dragging Homicide into the Corner... Is he going for
the Vader Bomb?
Tenay: Homicide is almost motionless...
But before Vader can climb the ropes, the crowd pops... Vader
turns around...
Cole: WHAT A SPEAR BY GOLDBERG!
Tenay: Listen to this crowd! Normally, they don't like him...
But they surely prefer him to Vader, now.
Goldberg roars before looking at Heenan. He then picks Vader
up... In position... And then hits a thunderous Jackhammer!
Cole: How strong is this guy?
JBL: I'm positive that Vader will be very angry after tonight.
Tenay: What goes around always comes back around, John.
Cole: We'll be back with another match after a quick break. Stay
with us!

The package ends with both men hitting their finishers and then
staring at each other in the ring.
TG: A behemoth clash that’s for sure. Panel time, first off
Michael, who does The Last Man Standing stipulation favour?
Cole: Could not tell you, both men are strong, both are
vicious…it seems impossible to me to see either of them down for
a count of ten apiece, even the managers cancel each other
house.
HHH glares at Cole at this point.
Cole: However, I look at the two big moves for both men…Vader
Bomb and Chokeslam for Vader…Spear and Jackhammer for Goldberg?
I’ve got to choose Goldberg for that reason.
TG: Fair enough, Triple H, can you flat out guarantee that you
won't get physically involved in this match?
HHH: I will only get physically involved on Heenan's a$$ if he
gets involved. But I think it will be between the two monsters
that will collide tonight, And not about the managers.
TG: They’ve had three encounters in the past: the first was a
cell match where the ending was somewhat marred by Hulk Hogan.
Then on an episode of Fusion, Mr. Kennedy, who shouldn’t of even
been in the building, caused a no contest. This was followed by
a match at the last PPV, which Vader won, but the attention was
still on Kennedy. Coach, are you happy that we can finally focus
on the two individuals alone?
JC: Yeah, it’s been a long time coming. Finally, especially with
Triple H’s guarantee that he’ll behave himself we can
concentrate on the two individuals in the ring and honestly
there’s no way I’d rather have it.
TG: Ok Coach, predicition?
JC: I can see both men battling it out so much that they could
incapacitate one another for the full ten count…so I’ll go for a
draw.
TG: Interesting, Triple H, I am guessing you're choosing Bill
Goldberg to be the last man standing?
HHH: That's the case. Look, I respect what Vader has done and I
don't expect him to be an easy challenge for Bill to overcome.
But Goldberg has used the last few days to prepare like he has
never prepared before. Vader will have to kill him to keep him
down for the ten count!
TG: And you Michael?
Cole: Sorry, Hunter…Vader for me.
HHH scowls at Cole but doesn’t take any other action.
TG: Thanks guys, now though we’re going to pay Matt Striker a
visit. Matt, who’ve you got?
We go to Striker.

Re: HCW Colleseum 2014 Pre-Show
By: ControversyPersonified Date: December 18, 2014, 6:08 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
MS: Ladies and gentlemen, my guests at this time... The New
World Order!
The Chicago's crowd gives a good pop to the entire group, who
all goes on the side of Striker.
MS: First, I wanna talk to Show and Bret. Guys, you two are
already assured of a spot in the Battle Royal. Any thoughts
before this match?
Bret: It is one of the most fun matches these fans can see...
And it makes the winner's career go up... This is the place
where old feuds enter a new stage and where new rivalries can be
created. It's a match that you just can't prepare for... You
dunno when the other guys will enter the match so it's all about
instincts. It's all about trying to avoid being close from the
ropes at all times.
Show: And for me, it's pretty simple. I'm seven-foot tall and I
weigh almost five hundred pounds. Good luck for any man to throw
me over the top rope. I'm going to throw people out left and
right...
MS: And what happens if you try to eliminate any of the other
members of the NWO?
Bret: Matt, we're maybe a family out there... But we are all
competitors. We all want to win and Show's will understand if
for exemple, I get to eliminate Show...
Show: Which obviously won't happen...
Bret stares at Show for a second.
Bret: Anyway, we will all gun for that title shot at Birth of
Destruction... It is the goal of every single wrestler out
there.
MS: Now, I wanna talk to Rock and Cena, any last words on the
Synergy Tag Team Title Match you have tonight?
Cena: Matt, it's going to be electric tonight! Two of the most
iconic Superstars in HCW will collide with a dangerous duo of
young studs who are making quite an impact. We collided with
them on Fusion and it was already a great battle. They maybe won
it that night, but this time, we are fighting for the Tag Team
Titles and there is no way...
Rock: And The Rock MEANS nooo wayyyy!
Cena: That we are losing this time. Seth and Roman, this will be
the biggest match of your careers...
Rock: And The Rock guarantees you this, me and John will bring
you their absolute best because we know we will need to. You are
definitely good... My cousin has the same blood than I have and
Seth is a very smart and athletic young man... But as good as
you are, we're simply better!
MS: One last question... Recently, the group has had plenty of
issues with different people or stables. Will it play a part in
the Battle Royal?
Cena: Well, if somehow, me and Rock loses our title match, we
very well know that we'll have a target on our backs. Whether
it's the Mean Girls... The Shield... Even our former member, the
Undertaker and his disciples... Or most importantly the British
Invasion... We'll be ready for all of them.
Show: To all of those people, if they think they can target us,
they better be ready for a war out there.
Bret: Because we ain't backing down from anyone, whether they
are friends or foes...
Rock: The NWO will rise like we've always risen out there...
Cena: And if I get my hands on that bald-headed Swiss bastard,
believe me... He is getting a beating the Chicago fans will love
for every second that it will go on.
MS: Thanks for the time, guys, Good luck, tonight!
All: Thanks, Matt!
MS: Guys, back to you.
Everyone bar Triple H looks quite impressed with that.
TG: nWo seem ready for tonight that’s for sure. Another preview
gents, I think. This is one featuring the nWo as they attempt to
prise the titles from The Shield’s grip. Let’s take a look.
The video package with images of the Shield beating down several
superstars. The Un-Americans, Randy Orton, the Wolfpack, they
all are shown suffering the storm that is the Shield. We then
see all three members of the group holding up their titles.
A group as ruthless as unpredictable...
Then, we see a shot of Cena and Rock laying the Smackdown to
several superstars in their illustrious career. We then see some
footage of their elimination tag team match they won against the
Mean Girls over on Fusion, which gives them their shot at the
titles.
A formidable duo of Hall-of-Famers...
[quote author=Black Widow link=topic=6.msg7494#msg7494
date=1417947979]Roman: So we get to face the NWO again? This is
the best that Fusion has to offer? We've shown that we can beat
them and, now that they're done playing with Barbie dolls, we
are going to completely destroy them. Cena... "cousin"... I hope
you have life insurance for what we're going to do to
you.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg7498#msg7498
date=1417993202]Rollins: These two guys, Roman, have lost to
us... Yet they still got in that number one contenders match. I
can smell injustice a thousand miles away. I think you're right,
Roman. Time to send a message to the NWO...
We then see some footage of their excellent non-title match
several weeks ago on Fusion. Match that the Shield won.
[quote author=Thurl link=topic=6.msg7532#msg7532
date=1418274527]Rock: Roman, you say I can't walk the walk? Well
let me tell you something Cousin, you and your little boys
obviously can't see us.
Cena raises a brow as Rock waves a hand in front of his face.
Rock: Yeah, I said it. I am also going to say this. Roman, you
are looking at the Great One, and I didn't just get that title
from nowhere, I earned it. Just a couple weeks ago, I beat my
own team mate, the Big Show. You may be a big man, but you are
no Big Show. Perhaps you missed it a couples months ago but I
beat our Global champion twice in a row. Its not a fluke no
matter how much his little weasel says it is. I am still the
Great One, and you are under estimating me and John if you think
this will be an easy win.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg7498#msg7498
date=1417993202][b]Cena: Seriously, guys... You
wanna threat us over this? We will see each other soon. Bring
the talk there then.
We see some more footage of the Fusion match between both teams.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=6.msg7414#msg7414
date=1416962305]
Rollins: To think about it, guys... Those are two guys that have
accomplished so much in this company... Yet, they embody exactly
what is wrong with this business...
The New World Order has been in control of Hybrid Championship
Wrestling ever since it has been created. Hell, for the last few
years before Mick lost his job weeks ago... Both GM were
honorary members of the stable... If that ain't the biggest
example of injustice, I dunno what it is...
But no, we aren't going to go the Invasion way with them... It
never works... We'll simply use the platform we are given to
send the message that embodies our brand of justice to two of
the greatest performers this company has.
[quote author=Black Widow link=topic=6.msg7524#msg7524
date=1418219139]Roman: You know, there's a big difference
between you and I... sure, you're the "People's Champ" and
everybody loves you... yes, you can definitely talk the talk.
But when it comes time to put your money where your mouth is,
you fail. Where's the Rock that I grew up admiring? He's long
gone. You can talk the talk, but you can't walk the walk, and
you've never been able to. That's where you and I are different;
I can walk the walk. Hell, you had a bunch of spoiled blonde
bimbos take you to your limit. You've dishonored not only our
family but our culture as well. After my real brothers and I
beat you, that goat-looking troll and that rainbow-haired misfit
who does not belong in my ring, Seth and I will destroy you and
your Superman tag team partner at Colleseum, and I'll show the
world who the real hero of the Anoa'i family is.
[quote author=Thurl link=topic=6.msg7532#msg7532
date=1418274527]Rock: Exactly. Family or not Shield, the most
electrifying team in all of entertainment is coming for
you!
We end the video with some more in-ring action between them and
a staredown with both teams.
TG: Great video! I'll start with Cole... Michael, you've seen
Rock and Cena compete for several years. What makes them a team
to be reckoned with?
Cole: They are two of the greatest competitors this company has
ever had. These two men have shown a better chemistry in recent
weeks and this will be crucial to defeat a team who's chemistry
is extraordinary.
TG: Coach, you have seen the Shield work in the first few weeks
of your GM tenure. What is the most impressive thing you have
seen from them so far?
JC: It's got to be the way they can cleverly use the numbers to
their advantage. A prime example was the way they strategically
ordered the entrants in the Elimination Chamber back at the last
PPV. These guys are clever and vicious and that's a deadly
combination.
TG: Hunter, your thoughts on this matchup?
HHH: The Shield is a very dangerous group of hungry men who have
shown they're ready to do everything to set their own brand of
justice on HCW. I've been to several wars against Cena and Rock
and while I don't like them as much as I love other guys...
These two guys are two of the top superstars this company has
had since its debut. If the match we had on Fusion is any
indication, it'll be the biggest test of all four men's careers.
TG: Who do you pick, Hunter?
HHH: I think that the ruthlessness of the Shield will outduel
the experience of the NWO. But it will be a war out there...
TG: Coach, do you see the Shield keeping the titles?
JC: Even though I do prefer the way the nWo goes about their
business as Collision GM I'd like the belts over on Collision
for a little longer, and I think Reigns and Rollins, while not
individually great can use teamwork to win as Rock and Cena are
0 and 1 in Tag Title matches in HCW.
So yes Todd, The Shield for me.
TG: Michael, do you go with the other two guys?
Cole: It will be a tough call... I'm happy to be able to call
that match, because it has everything. I'll go with the NWO in a
great back-and-forth match to become Synergy Tag Team
Champions... But either team winning wouldn't be surprising.
TG: Thanks, guys. It promises to be one hell of a tag team
match. And now, it’s time for one of my favourite parts of every
Pre-Show! The touring schedule going all the way up to Birth of
Destruction VII!

---------------------------------------------------------
The map of the USA and of Canada is now shown and there's eight
pinpoints on the map, three in the US and five in Canada.
TG: After tonight, we'll stay in the state of Illinois for the
first set of shows. Collision will be held not too far from
here, in the UIC Pavillon. A place were Jim Crockett Promotions
and WCW used to held shows back in the 1980s and 1990s. The
people of Rosemont will get to see Fusion over at the Allstate
Arena. Fusion went there once before in May of 2013, where
Alberto Del Rio and Cody Rhodes engaged in an outstanding
non-title main event.
Then, we'll have the 2014 Awards Show in Boise, Idaho, where
fans will be able to see wrestlers from both brands in
CenturyLink Arena.
Then, it will be a major trip to Canada. We'll start this with
the people of Collision paying a visit to Vancouver to Rogers
Arena. It will be HCW's first visit to Vancouver. The people
over on Fusion will pay a visit to Bret Hart's hometown of
Calgary, in the Scotiabank Saddledome. It will also be the first
visit in this town.
After that, the next cycle will be in Ontario, as the guys over
on Collision will pay a visit to Edge's hometown, Toronto, where
they will have a show at Air Canada Centre. While they have
visited Toronto before, it will be the first time that they come
to the arena where the Toronto Raptors and Toronto Maple Leafs
play their home games. The people in Fusion will go to Hamilton
to pay a visit to FirstOntario Centre for what will be the last
show before the biggest PPV in HCW's year...
Birth of Destruction VII will be held inside the almighty
Olympic Stadium of Montreal, hometown of Sami Zayn. 66 308
people can enter inside the former home of the Montreal Expos
and the stadium where the 1976 Summer Games were started.
The map disappears and is replaced by Todd Grisham.
TG: Now that we are done with the touring schedule... Our next
preview is for a match that will signify the end of a feud that
has been going on for several months. The Universal Championship
will be defended in a 60-minute Iron Man Match! Cody Rhodes and
Shane Douglas have been battling for that belt and tonight means
the end of their issues. And with Kurt Angle as the special
referee, the odds of finally figuring who's the real Universal
Champion are almost at 100%.
Let's see how this has started... At Champion's Glory...
We start the video package with Shane Douglas retrieving the
title in that Three Stages of Hell match at the PPV. Then, we
see him proudly wearing that title...
And then we see the ending of the Nowhere to Run main event with
the ref counting to three, even when Shane placed his leg on the
bottom rope before it. We then see Cody celebrating his win and
Shane losing his mind on the ref after that match...
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=51.msg7437#msg7437
date=1417201522]Hogan seems to not have expected this guy to
interrupt him. The crowd gives Shane an excellent ovation while
he goes to the ring quickly and with some zing in his step. He
gets a mic while Hogan scratches his head.

Hogan: Didn't I say I am not a happy guy at this moment... You
better have a good reason to interrupt me...
Douglas: You're damn right I do. I was robbed of the Universal
title and I want to know what the hell you're going to do about
it.
Hogan: I didn’t see the match live as I was way too mad to care
about it. I did see a replay of it and I saw what happened. You
have all the rights to be mad and you will get that rematch at
Colleseum.
But before we go with that, what were you thinking to put your
hands on the ref after the match?
Douglas: You were too mad to do your f*cking job? If that's the
case, I don't owe you a d*mn explanation.
Other than the fact that the ref was an idiot with his head up
his a$$.
Hogan: Look, as much as you were unhappy of the missed call and
I have been in your shoes before... That doesn't mean you can
put your hands on a referee. And it isn't the first time you do
so… Don't wait for your next pay check because it will be the
financial side of your punishment for your actions.
Douglas: You can take that paycheck and shove it up your a$$. I
don't care. I want Rhodes, and I want him now.
Hogan: Typical reaction... I also saw what happened last
Collision and Cody isn't here tonight...
Heavy boos from the crowd.
Hogan: Your issues with him have been blowing over both brands
lately. We will calm this before it gets too far out of hand.
Douglas: Of course the golden boy isn't here. You can't have the
face of the company getting his a$$ handed to him by the guy who
will call the company on its bull$hit, right?
Hogan: Like I told you, you will get your final chance to do so
at Colleseum... But to regain this belt... You are going to have
to do something you have never done before...
Douglas: Nobody cares about your dramatic pause, grandpa. Spit
it out.
Hogan: If I were you, I would avoid getting in too much trouble
physically tonight in that no DQ match against Goldberg...
Because you will have to compete for sixty fu cking minutes at
Colleseum! You will face Cody one last time in an Ironman
Match!
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=39.msg7436#msg7436
date=1417201252]Now, I came out here to address the so-called
“controversy” in my Universal Title match. Apparently Shane had
his foot to the rope. Truthfully, I rewatched the footage and
yes, it was a missed call.
*The crowd finally cheers something Cody has to say and the
“Douglas” chants begin again. Cody waits for them to die out
before speaking again.*
And while I will admit that it was a missed call, whether or not
he would have gotten the rope break there wouldn’t have even
mattered. Shane Douglas was beaten from the moment he stepped
foot in that ring with me. Shane, you’re simply outclassed.
I’m royalty in this business, the youngest and longest reigning
Universal Champion in HCW history. What are you, huh? A paper
champion, that’s who. And that is all you will ever be. You
will forever be known as the guy who got lucky one night against
the Face of HCW and my legacy will continue to grow.
[quote author=pat2007 link=topic=51.msg7438#msg7438
date=1417201767]The crowd gives a standing reaction as Kurt
Angle makes his way to the ring. Judging by Hogan's reaction, he
wasn't expecting this guy to show up. Angle makes his way to the
ring and does his trademark jumping pose of his before going
close to the apron, letting the reaction go for several seconds
before getting a mic. The fans, who weren't expecting this guy
to show up, continue to be on their feet and even some Angle
chants are heard.
Hogan: Well... Ladies and Gentlemen, HCW's alumni and your
Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle!
Reaction gets even louder. Kurt loves it, obviously.
Hogan: May I know what brings you here? I was about to announce
the special referee...
Angle: I know, I know. Sorry to interrupt you all of a sudden...
But I wanna talk about that, too.
Hogan: Oh really? I know you saw the main event of Nowhere to
Run as you were a member of the panel for the Pre-Show...
Angle: I hated that ending too, Hulk. These two were tearing the
house down until that disappointing missed call. And that is why
I am here tonight.
Hogan has a puzzled look for a second but quickly finds out what
Kurt means. The crowd kinda has figured it out, too, as they
cheer very loudly.
Hogan: Ah... You want that responsability, don't you, Kurt?
Angle: Look, I dunno who you had in mind and it was probably
going to be a good decision anyway but let me explain to you why
I would be the best man to do that job...
Number one, I was involved in several Iron Man matches before,
including a couple of classics with a man I think these fans
know quite well. A man by the name of Brock Lesnar...
Standing ovation for the former co-CEO and one of the greatest
wrestlers in HCW's history. Angle nods as Hogan keeps staring at
him.
Angle: I know what it takes to compete in a 60-minute match... I
know what Cody and Shane will have to do out there and I know
they would trust a man who knows that all their efforts they
gave to get there must not be compromised because of a missed
call or an incident.
And number two, there's no man who can bring the three I as well
as I do. I have the intensity to stay focused for the entire
duration of this match, as I have done before. I have the
intergity needed to enforce the laws of the ring to both men.
And I have the Intelligence of knowing what to do and what not
to do as a referee. All these things makes me the perfect
candidate to be the man in the middle for this exciting and
important matchup...
Hogan: I don't want to sound like a man who likes to burst
people's bubbles... But you've had your share of issues with
both competitors in that match...
Angle: I knew you would bring that, Hulk. Look, my only
intention is to make sure that at the end of this Iron Man
match... We'll have a Universal Champion that won't be
surrounded by controversy. Yes, I've had my share of battles
with both Cody and Shane. But I am no longer a wrestler, Hulk
and I don't plan on returning to the ring for quite some time. I
respect both men in this match... I know how much they want to
win this match and they need a ref who can make sure to stay in
the background and make the right calls.
Look, I know that these days, you rather make your decisions
based on if it is good for the brand and not for the fans. Just
don't see me just as a good decision for the fans.
The crowd starts chanting Yes! and the scene is unreal. Hogan
seems lost in deep thoughts for a while...
Hogan: Kurt... You... You... You get what you wish!
Ladies and gentlemen, your special referee for the IronMan match
at Colleseum, KURT ANGLE!
Give me the flammable life
I'm cold as a match
Ready to strike
So here I go...
We see the endings of both matches at Champion's Glory and at
Nowhere to Run.
Here lies a city on fire
Singing along
The arsonist choir
Now here I go...
We see images from the city of Chicago and his rabid fan base.
It started with a spark
And burned into the dark
Now here I go...
We see quickly the rise of Cody's career into what he has become
today.
There is a river I found
Into the wild
Under the ground
So here I go...
A button on a string
And I heard everything
Now here I go...
During that part, we see Shane in the Revolution and then his
quest to redeem himself that led him to where he is today.

hits his offense on Shane.
And held you in my bloody hands
These rattled bones and rubber bands

You'll never make me change my name
Pay no mind now ain't that something
**** it all! I came from nothing
During that part, we see several things that happened in the
buildup to these matches... The Cody's slap... Shane picking the
Universal Title... And then both men raising the Universal
Title.

Iron Man match. For those of you too stupid to understand,

During that part, we see footage of Cody's only Iron Man match

see Angle fighting Lesnar in that same match. We then see him
wearing the referee t-shirt.

I'm something

We see the crowd rise and we see both Shane and Cody make one of
their entrances. We then finish with the scene at the end of the
contract signing, which is Kurt separating both competitors.
TG: One hell of a video package, guys! Coach, I'll start with
you... Is Cody right to say that Shane isn't good enough to step
in the ring with him for sixty minutes?
JC: No, he's not. I do believe Cody's better than Shane but
saying that a former Universal and International champion isn't
good enough is a little unfair of Cody.
TG: Hunter, you've had your battles with Shane in the past. You
think he is right to feel that Cody can't beat him either?
HHH: I hate Shane a lot... But I've always recognized that he is
one of the best this company has. With how these two matches
went, he can surely feel that way. Hell, this confidence is what
can help him win tonight, because you need a lot of confidence
to survive an Iron Man match!
TG: Cole, is the Iron Man match the toughest match for a
wrestler to compete in?
Cole: It's definitely up there, Todd. You have no idea how much
cardio and toughness a man must have to compete for sixty
minutes. And mentally, with the stakes of the match, it's so
tough for the competitors to keep their initial gameplan.
TG: Who do you pick?
Cole: I will go with the man who got cheated on at Nowhere to
Run. I think Cody's newfound attitude will cost him the title at
the end of the match.
TG: Hunter, may we presume that you are picking Cody to win?
HHH: Definitely. It will be a great match, though. Cody has been
champion for so long and there is a reason for that.
TG: And Coach, do you see the Universal Title staying over on
Collision?
JC: Yeah, I do. I don't think it'll be comprehensive for Rhodes
but I don't think it'll be properly close either. I'll even
predict a score, 6-3 to Rhodes
TG: Intriguing score. We'll see! It promises to be one of the
best Universal Title matches in recent years. We'll go now to
some more entry numbers being drawn.

We once again return to the number-drawing room as we see a
string of wrestlers waiting for their turn. We start with
Hunter's two clients, Bill Goldberg and Dolph Ziggler.
DZ: What a pleasure it is to be drawing my number, right here,
in Mick Foley's office!
Hogan and Coach roll there eyes as Ziggler does the thumbs up,
while Hunter and Foley have a little staredown as both clients
go to pick their number. Goldberg isn't the happiest guy in the
room, for sure... Dolph looks happy of his number.
Hogan: Bill, if you win the Global Title tonight, Vader will
take your place in the Battle Royal.
They go to leave and Ziggler ends up face-to-face with Daniel
Bryan. Ziggler finally leaves as Bryan is quickly followed by
the man fighting for the International Title tonight, Jeff
Hardy. They both pick their numbers and while Bryan looks
happy... Jeff is even happier.
Coach: Jeff... If you win the International Title, Dean Ambrose
will take your spot in the Battle Royal.
They both give their numbers to Coach as they leave. Jimmy
Jacobs then enter the room and picks his number. He is not
pleased with the number he has gotten. He stares at Hogan while
giving his paper to Coach before finally leaving. Edge follows
suite and picks his number, he does look happy with the pick.
Coach: And Edge, If you win the CDM Title tonight, Drake Younger
will take your spot in the Battle Royal.
Edge gives his number to Coach as he leaves. We go back to the
guys up top.

TG: Thanks for that, but now we’re going straight back to Renee
Young who’s got a very special guest referee…
Renee has already got Angle stood next to her.
RY: My guest at this time, the man who will referee the Iron Man
match for the Universal Title tonight... Kurt Angle!
The Chicago's crowd gives Angle a good reaction as well. He's
already in his referee attire.
RY: Before we talk about the match you'll be doing tonight... I
wanna know if you have any comment to say about what Cody said
last Collision...
Angle: Renee, I will say the same thing I said to Cody back
then... If he wants to take the credit for me leaving and using
it to stroke his ego, he can do that. He's a man, right now...
My only goal is to get the job done tonight and make sure that
we get a decisive champion after tonight.
RY: You've had issues in the past with both Cody and Shane. Do
you fear it could impair your judgment out there?
Angle: I can understand your point, but I wouldn't have taken
this job if I would let my past times with them go in front of
the job I was asked to do. It's well known that me and Shane
were the main guys of the Fusion's branch of the Revolution but
we also had our battles for the International Title at that
time. I am elated by how far Shane has come since then. He
proved and he keeps proving that he can be a franchise player
for the company.
And Cody... He's the one that ended my Universal Title reign and
while people might think I resent him for that night, it is not
the case. After seeing him hold that belt for as long as he
went, I just think it had to happen. He simply needed that major
win to propel himself into the Hall-of-Fame discussion. I'm also
happy for him, as much as he wants it to be about himself these
days.
My job is simple... Tonight, a true Universal Champion will be
crowned...
Oh, It's True! It's DAMN true!
RY: Thanks for your time and good luck with your assignment.
Angle: No problem, Renee and thanks.
RY: Guys, we return to you.

We go back to Grisham, with Coach back in his seat.
TG: Well, I must admit I had a couple of doubts but Kurt’s done
a good job of convincing me he’ll call this fairly. Now, it’s
time to go to another title preview. This one is for The
International Title, Jeff Hardy v Dean Ambrose…let’s take a look
at this one!

The crowd is patiently waiting when all of a sudden, Jeff
Hardy's music begins playing.
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPqrGGAwjHE
The crowd goes wild for North Carolina native, Jeff Hardy. As
the crowd cheers, Hardy steps out with his usual pyro. He
appears to be in good health after the brutal match at Nowhere
to Run. Not only that, Hardy has a smile on his face and high
fives the fans at ringside before entering the ring.
Hardy goes on to the top ropes and applauds the fans. He mouths
the words "Thank you" and "I love you" to the crowd. He grabs a
microphone as the music stops playing. He soaks in the crowd a
little bit more.
Hardy: I won!
The crowd cheers big time for Hardy yet again. Hardy has a big
smile after saying that.
Hardy: After months of pain and agony, I stand before all of you
today as the winner of a war unlike any other. Shawn Michaels
has fallen victim to his own ignorance. He is not the winner. I
am. His quest to change me and be the demigod that he wanted is
over. Now, I stand tall as the true winner and a proud man. All
of you saw a side of me like no other in that match. I went
above and beyond. I did things that I never thought I would do.
The match did certainly bring another side of myself out. I beat
Shawn Michaels because of that. I beat Shawn Michaels because my
fear pushed me to a point where it was time to fight or die! I
refused to say die! I refused to let Shawn have the better of
me. I was not going to let that bast*rd walk out with a damn
smile on his face!
With all that in mind, did Shawn succeed in his goal? Did he
change me?
If Shawn wanted to change me and bring about a darker path, he
has failed! I may have gone to the very limits of my body, mind,
and spirit to finally destroy Shawn, hell, my body still hurts
like all hell itself! But, I am the man that you all still love.
I am a daredevil, the enigma, and so much more! I am still Jeff
Hardy! I am ready for anything and anyone! Nobody will ever
break the very man that I am! Shawn Michaels, you have failed! I
have won!
No longer will we all be tortured by Shawn Michaels and his
ways. Now, it is time for me to look towards the future. It is
time for Jeff Hardy to rise up to the top of HCW and be the best
that I can possibly be! I have never been more energized than I
am right now! Who's ready for Jeff Hardy to rise to the top!
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiHECnWxq7s
As soon as that music plays, the crowd knows what's going on and
Jeff actually gets ready to fight as we see the three members of
the Shield come from the crowd.
Cole: Jeff, run!
Tenay: It's not a good idea to stand there, Jeff.
JBL: Don't be too greedy...
All three members of the Shield go to a different side and comes
to the apron. They all stare at Jeff, who wonders how to fight
back. As soon as they all enter the ring, Hardy tries to go off
on all three guys but the numbers game is too much at first, as
they start a 3-on-1 beatdown, to the crowd's boos.
Hardy fights back, looking like an house of fire. He drops
Rollins and Ambrose... Only to get speared to the ground by
Reigns!
JBL: How foolish was Jeff here...
Tenay: And I think the Shield aren't done yet... Don't tell
me...
Cole: Triple Powerbomb! They maybe injured Jeff again!
Tenay: Why would they go after him?
JBL: I dunno... The Shield doesn't give much reasons, you know.
The Shield leaves through the crowd, happy of their work, as
Jeff is struggling to recover from the attack.

(Renee Young is in the medical room with Jeff Hardy)
RY: Jeff, after the Shield's brutal assault on you which adds to
the injuries you already have, how can you possibly be ready for
the next Collision?
Hardy: Are you kidding me? I don't care what those Shield goons
did to me this week! I'm going to come back and fight!
RY: Jeff, they clearly have intent on making sure you don't set
foot in the ring. They said it themselves. They see that you are
everything that is wrong with wrestling.
Hardy: You know how many times I've been told that I am
everything wrong with wrestling? Just go on the internet and
read some comments about me from 4 years ago, I've heard it all.
I've heard every little bit of criticism about me for years and
I never let that get to me! I get back up and I fight! I know
I'm not every one's favorite person, but I know I belong in this
company!
Did you just not see what I went through with Shawn Michaels? He
didn't think I belonged in the same ring as him, but I proved
him wrong in every way! If the Shield fully believe that I don't
belong in the ring, they can keep coming and I'll keep fighting.
I don't see any injustice in myself. I see myself as a person
who stands up and believes in himself. I stand up for the fans
so they don't have to listen to complete jacka**es like the
Shield! People may see that as pandering, but that's only
because they don't have the heart that I do. I believe in every
word that comes out of my mouth! I'm passionate about this
business and I'll be damned if the Shield are going to prevent
from stepping in that rig!
So, to the Shield, if you want to take me out, you can see me
next week. I'll be at Collision with all of my injuries. I'm
hurting badly, but I'm going to stand in the middle of that ring
and waiting for a fight. I challenge you to come out and try to
beat me down again. I'll accept the odds against me. I don't
care! I'll fight you guys every single week till every single
bit of me is broken.
RY: Thank you, Jeff.
(The camera fades out as Hardy is getting checked on by the
medical staff. He grimaces as they continue to examine him.)

Roman: Jeff Hardy represents a false impression of what a HCW
superstar should be. He's wild, brash and walks to his own
stride... that is not how we do things here. The Hounds of
Justice destroyed him for the reason being... he does not belong
here. We sought out the weakness in this company and we fixed it
and now he's disappeared like a forgotten memory.
We faced a temporary roadblock on Collision, but that doesn't
matter. We are the brotherhood in charge of this place. We are

upon themselves to attack Jeff Hardy. Now, Jeff’s been on a roll

All three members of the Shield are to their usual spot.
Rollins: I get the night off... What a shame. I guess I'll make
sure to be out there for your title defense, Dean.
Ambrose: I don't fear Jeff. He is stubborn and tough, I'll give
him that. But stubbornness can be quite the sin when not used
right... We will make an example out of you... You ain't taking
this International Title away, Jeff. The only thing you'll take
away after Collision will be your dignity.

Hardy: A shot at the International title? I love it, but I know
that Rollins and Reigns will be waiting around the corner. My
focus will be on Ambrose, but I'm going to prepare myself to
face all three of those goons. They consider me the meat for the
hound to eat? I'll prove that I'm the gun that takes the hounds
down.

When we return, Ambrose has Hardy in a Single Leg Boston Crab.
Hardy had to use a lot of his leg strength to get out of the
predicament and hit Ambrose with a sitout jawbreaker which sends
Ambrose into the corner, where Hardy hits a one man Poetry in
Motion which makes Ambrose go seated in the corner which means
Hardy can hit that lovely Hardyac arrest. Hardy waits for
Ambrose to come back up and kicks him, going for a Twist of Fate
but Ambrose counters it into a Double Underhook Suplex, takes a
while to get his breath back and goes for Dirty Deeds! He hooks
it but Hardy slides out and hits a Twist of Fate! He goes for
the pin!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
TH-NO!!!
That damn Shield have ruined it for Hardy. Reigns dragged the
referee out of the ring and Rollins nailed a Curb Stomp to
Hardy. The referee calls for the bell as Roberts calls for the
DQ. The Shield regroup in the ring and look as though they want
to dish more punishment out to Hardy, until The Coach storms out
without music and with a mic.
JC: I’m not having it, my first title match as Collision GM
won’t go down like this. Reigns, Rollins, get out my ring and
don’t re-enter it. You don’t want to know the consequences if
you do. Referee, restart the match…under no disqualification
rules!
Ambrose shouts at Coach as Rollins and Reigns reluctantly leave
but he turns round into Hardy who nails him with another Twist
of Fate…but Ambrose just kicks out! Hardy is in disbelief and
looks back at Ambrose before deciding to go up to the top rope.
He looks to hit a Swanton but Ambrose gets the knees up, helps
him up and hits him with Dirty Deeds…but Hardy kicks out at two
again!
JBL: Ambrose nearly had him!
Tenay: Great resilience by Hardy…
Cole: Who’s going to win this one now? Remember it’s no DQ!
Ambrose rolls out of the ring and walks over to the timekeepers
area. He grabs a Steel Chair but Hardy hits a Whisper in the
Wind to the outside! Hardy recovers around the same time as
Ambrose incidentally and the count is at 3. Hardy grabs onto
Ambrose but Ambrose drives Hardy back first into the barricade a
couple of times and throws Hardy back in the ring, before
grabbing his title and leaving through the crowd. Hardy
struggles in the ring to get up as the count goes all the way
down to ten and Ambrose is nowhere to be seen! Hardy’s music
plays as he is announced as the winner, but still the champ,
Dean Ambrose. Hardy looks exasperated as we go to credits.

(Byron Saxton is with Jeff Hardy backstage after Collision)
Saxton: Jeff, perhaps, this was one of the most frustrating
nights for you. Not only did the Shield try to take you out
again, you were not able to even get a chance to win the
International title after Dean Ambrose ran away. Tell me where
your state of mind is?
Hardy: Well, you said it yourself Byron. I'm frustrated as hell!
I want to thank my GM for restarting the match and getting
Rollins and Reigns out of there. At least, he gives me a damn
chance to keep fighting! Ambrose has a lot of fight in him, but
he's a coward.
The moment that I have a chance of becoming International
champion, he runs away. The International title was in my grasp
many months ago. Now, that I finally have a chance of winning
it, Ambrose decides to be a coward. I'm sick of the Shield. The
only time they are willing to put up any fight is when they have
the numbers game! As soon as Ambrose lost his buddies, he was
scared because he knew I would win! I'm not afraid to fight
three men! I'm ready to fight all of them whenever they want.
Yet, they don't want to fight me one on one because they will
lose!
I'm frustrated. It's just that simple. I want to see Ambrose
next Collision and not run away. I want him to come and fight me
like a man. Maybe, I'm asking for too much out of him, but I'm
never finished till my goal is reached. The goal right now is to
beat the Shield at all cost and win that Internation title! See
you later, Byron.
Saxton: Thank you Jeff.
(Hardy walks off. He kicks a wall as he walks down the hall
still showing his anger over the events that happened.)

Collision, it wasn't that time. Maybe someday, I will bring you
the fight that you should have never begged for.

Hardy: Hello St. Louis! Well, I'm going to get straight to
business. I want Dean Ambrose in the ring tonight! Last week was
total crap. I know it. The fans know it and if the Shield
doesn't know then they are idiots.
I pride myself on fighting against anybody, anytime, anywhere. I
won't run away even if I feel like something isn't going my way.
Ambrose did not do any of that. The Shield say they are fighting
injustice, but as soon as something doesn't go their way, they
back off. That's injustice. If you guys want justice, you better
fight for it. You can't restore justice like you guys claim by
running away. So Ambrose, walk out here and give me the rematch
I deserve for that title! Hell, give me the fair fight that I

The St. Louis's crowd goes wild for this theme song.
JBL: Why is that troll coming out here?
Tenay: Maybe he couldn't stand these guys beating down Jeff
again...
Cole: And it's not like Daniel Bryan hasn't had issues before
with the Shield!
Bryan quickly runs to the ring as Ambrose drops Hardy to go at
him. Bryan ducks and delivers a double running forearm smash to
both Ambrose and Rollins. He then avoids the clothesline attempt
from Reigns and start unloading with kicks. Unfortunately for
him, the other two members of the Shield had recovered and they
unload on Bryan with that pack of hounds mentality they're known
for.
Cole: For God's sake, can someone please help them?
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Juqm94sUV_E
The crowd goes even wilder this time... It has been so long
since this theme song was heard over on Collision!
Tenay: Ask and you shall receive!
Cole: Cena and Rock! The men who will face Rollings and Reigns
at Colleseum for the tag titles!
Cena and Rock don't waste any time going after Rollins and
Reigns. Ambrose would have loved to help but Hardy, who had
recuperated from the initial attack, is going at him and for
once, the numbers game is no longer to the Shield's advantage.
Rock takes care of Reigns with his trademark spit + right hand,
which drops Reigns over the top rope. Cena then catches Rollins
in position for the AA but Rollins holds the ropes. Cena then
decides to drop him over the top rope, leaving Ambrose all alone
in the ring with all four guys. Bryan is still slightly
recuperating but Ambrose is surrounded by Rock, Cena and
especially Hardy, who suddenly has a broad smile on his face.
JBL: And now, is it fair?
Cole: Well, the Shield have just been played at their own game.
JBL: And why are the NWO guys here...
Tenay: Well, they are the number one contenders to the Synergy
Titles, John. And remember what Hogan said after Ground Zero a
couple of months ago...
Cole: Ambrose has nowhere to go!
Ambrose tries to plead his case but Hardy and the NWO guys have
none of it. Dean then turns around... To a Running Knee from
Daniel Bryan, to the St. Louis crowd's roars! Hardy then goes up
top, ready for the Swanton... But Rollins and Reigns makes sure
to slide Ambrose out of here before Hardy can go for it. That,
of course, get some boos from the crowd.
Rock and Cena are begging for The Shield to bring it. All three
Shield guys looks like they are going to leave by where they
came from...

Finally, Hardy catches Ambrose with a DDT and both men are down!
The crowd is restless as Hardy crawls to the corner. Ambrose
catches his leg... But this time, Hardy hits a enziguiri that
allows him to tag the Rock to a outstanding pop! Rock goes off
on Ambrose with several right hands before hitting a couple of
overhead belly-to-belly suplexes. He then sees Seth running on
the apron towards him. He knocks him down and outside the ring
with a right hand, before doing the same thing to a standing
Reigns.
Ambrose then went up top but Rock caught him and threw him right
back down the mat. Rock goes for the Rock Bottom but Ambrose
blocks it and hits a DDT on Rock. He then hits a couple of
powerbombs for two counts. Ambrose then tries for Dirty Deeds
but Rock pushes him off. Dean charges but gets caught by a
Samoan Drop that allows Rock to tag in Bryan, who cleans house
of the Shield yet again. He then applies the Yes Lock! to
Ambrose... But before he can tap, Rollins and Reigns break the
hold.
It creates bedlam for a moment where all four guys go to the
outside. Ambrose gains control of Bryan and looks to finish it
with Dirty Deeds... But Ambrose didn't see Hardy make a blind
tag on Bryan. Bryan blocks the attempt and hits a thunderous
Running Knee while Hardy goes to the top rope. He then hits a
Swanton as Bryan throws himself at Reigns and Rollins, taking
them out as Hardy gets the winning fall for his team!

(Hardy is at his home in North Carolina with an HCW camera crew
with him on his front porch. Byron Saxton is the interviewer for
this piece)
Saxton: Jeff, at Colleseum, you get another shot at the title
that has been eluding your grasp for months against Dean
Ambrose. How does it feel to get a truly legitimate shot at this
title?
Hardy: It's something I feel I deserve. Ever since Shawn
Michaels got involved, I was consumed with vengeance. I just
wanted to prove that not only I can hang with the best, but I
can beat them too. I had something to prove to Shawn and to
everyone in the locker room and I did just that. Then, I was
moving on. Was I prepared to go from such brutal battle into
another war with the Shield? I wasn't expecting it. However, I'm
ready to fight anyone. Like I said, I deserve this shot. I
deserve a fair fight. No interference, no buffoonery, no running
away. I have proven that I have a right to fight for this title.
Saxton: What do you think about when the Shield says you don't
belong here?
Hardy: You know I've harped on this enough. I belong here. I was
born to be in that squared circle. It's what I am best at. It is
where my passion is. They aren't going to tell me that I don't
belong in this business because I have proven time after time to
them, to the fans, and to the whole world that I am man who has
every right to be in this business because I am damn good at it.
The Shield can stick their opinion up their collective *ssholes!
Saxton: Do you have any final words for Dean Ambrose?
Hardy: I have plenty of final words before our match. Dean, I
know you're listening. Listen well to what I am about to say. I
hope you are in some dark room with your buddies. I hope you're
cracking jokes or spouting some nonsense about justice. I hope
you're insulting everything about me. I want you to get whatever
joy you're having doing all that out of your system. I don't
want to deal with the coward who has constantly avoided a one on
one all these weeks. I want a match with the man who is no
longer afraid of the unknown. I know you don't want to lose that
title nor would I, but I wouldn't shy away from a fight like
this. So please, bring a fight! Bring tenacity! Bring ruthless
aggression because I'm going to deliver all that energy you
throw against me right back to you!
(Hardy takes a breath and looks off into the distance, then back
at the camera)
I've never been afraid of your group. I've never have had a
problem with your group. But, no man attacks me and thinks they
will get away with it. You, especially, will not get away with
this Dean. It's time we go to battle and see who really is the
best man. You can be sure that the man who refuses to back down
from anything is going to make sure he wins. This man is me.
(Hardy puts his head down contemplating a bit more. He has a
scowl on his face when he look back at the camera.)
There's been no justice in what you guys have done to me. You
guys are nothing but soldiers who twist a narrative for their
benefit! You guys are the Hounds of Injustice. I'm going to take
one of the hounds behind the woodshed and put him out of his
misery. I know the hound has some bark. I know the hound has
some bite when in a pack. I can take a few bites. I've always
put up with pain. Dean, you're not going to escape my pain
though.
(Jeff is rubbing his hands together. It's clear that all the
brutality that he has undergone in his career is swirling
through his head)
I'm the next International Champion. Now, that's proper justice!
Believe that!
(The camera fades to black as Hardy gives a sharp stare into the
camera)
The package ends with both men trading moves in their Collision
match before seeing the title being raised high.
TG: It’s going to be a good one, that’s for sure. First off I
want to talk to Michael Cole. If you were Jeff, what would you
prefer to be? An International Champion or a Battle Royal
participant?
JC: Probably the former, the Battle Royal after losing a title
match will be a hard, hard match to win. And if you’re The
International Champion, you’re guaranteed a spot at BoD VII
anyway…
TG: Ok, Hunter, if you were Ambrose, knowing the DQ and Count
Out situation, would you ask for the Shield to be at ringside
anyway, even if just for moral support?
HHH: The Shield looks like a unit out there. Of course, I would.
Ambrose just needs to remind them of the stipulation and he will
be fine.
TG: Ok, Michael, to you, will Hardy still be feeling the Cage of
Death?
Cole: I think he has to be, no question. But you could also say
is Dean Ambrose still feeling The Elimination Chamber, also at
Nowhere to Run. Either way, I think Ambrose goes in there the
most fit either way, but I don’t think that matters: Hardy
strives on adversity like that.
TG: So he is your pick right?
Cole: He is indeed, Jeff Hardy for me.
TG: And Coach?
JC: I agree Cole, Hardy.
TG: Do you agree with your panelists making it three out of
three for Hardy?
HHH: Hardy is on quite the roll... But he's a daredevil... And
as much as I appreciated his matches with my buddy Shawn, I
still see him as a man who will make mistakes. I have Ambrose
using one of these to retain.
TG: Well, thanks guys but now I believe it’s time to go to the
ring, it’s Collisions Battle Royal qualifier! Scott Steiner and
Sami Zayn v The Disciples of Darkness, Batista and Sin Cara.
Whoever gets pinned is out of the main event!

Re: HCW Colleseum 2014 Pre-Show
By: ControversyPersonified Date: December 18, 2014, 6:22 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
The Disciples of Darkness made their entrance first to boos.
Zayn then came in to quite a few cheers, before the pop of the
Pre-Show went to Freakzilla, Scott Steiner. Steiner and Cara
started and here we go.
Cara takes advantage after the lockup with a variety of side
kicks and chops, before applying a front facelock and attempts a
tornado DDT. Here, Cara’s offense is stopped where Steiner uses
his strength to reverse with a back-to-belly and tags in Zayn,
who ducks a clothesline and hits a Pele kick. Zayn, however,
after bouncing back off the ropes, is taken out by a dropkick.
Cara and Zayn face off in the ring with their highflying styles
for a while, before Cara takes Zayn to the outside and tosses
him into the guardrail and ringpost multiple times, before
Steiner assists him and clotheslines Cara. Zayn returns Cara
with similar treatment and a Yakuza kick. Back in the ring, Cara
reverses a tiger suplex and hits a superkick. Cara and Zayn
trade blows, with punches and kicks galore, before hitting
various suplex variations with both partners eager to hit the
ring.
Cara goes for springboard moonsault but Zayn catches him with a
powerslam and tags in Steiner. Big Poppa Pumps is riled up,
taking out Cara with clotheslines and elbows combined with
German and belly-to-belly suplexes in succession. Batista
interferes before Steiner can cover Cara, and nails him with a
short-arm clothesline. Cara springs from the ropes and hits a
hurricanrana into the ringpost and tags in Batista.
Batista works on Steiner with ground stomps and drops some
elbows, which goes on for a minute of so. A failed cover leads
to Steiner dropping Batista down with a drop toe hold, and
attempts to lock in the Steiner Recliner. After a while, Batista
starts powering out, but Steiner releases and spins around and,
after a boot to the head, hits a double underhook powerbomb for
a two count. Steiner, frustrated, goes to pick Batista up, who
reverses it with a spinebuster into the mat.
Batista goes to take Steiner down with clotheslines, but Steiner
ducks and tags in Zayn, who springs off the top rope. His
efforts prove fruitless as his attack is reversed into a Samoan
Drop. Zayn is knocked into the corner with a bunch of back
elbows and Batista starts working on him the corner. Batista
nails another clothesline in the corner. Batista attempts a
flapjack but Zayn flips out into a dropkick. Zayn crawls towards
his corner for thet tag, but Steiner drops off the apron and
mouths sorry. Zayn, confused, yells at him, but he's met with a
clothesline to the back of the head from Batista. Zayn bounces
off his turnbuckle, before Batista kicks him in the ribs and
nails a Sitout Power Bomb on Zayn for the win.
Winners: Batista and Sin Cara via a Batista Bomb to Zayn in
22:14.
The winners names are announced and Steiner walks away to a
split reaction, as the Disciples raise their arms in the ring.
We go straight back to Foley’s office for the final number
drawings.
We go for a last time in the number drawing room and we now see
the entire Disciples of Darkness group. Cara and Batista have
just won their match and are in their wrestling gear. They are
led with Taker and there's of course a slight staredown between
Taker and Foley after what happened after Collision. All five
guys pick their number for the Battle Royal. All five of them
seems content with their number as they give it to Coach.
Coach: Kofi, I must remind you that if you win the CDM title
tonight, Drake Younger will take your spot in the Battle Royal.
All five members of the Disciples leave and finally we get the
last guy to make his draw. Scott Steiner makes his way inside
the room. He has a stare with Coach as he picks the last number.
He looks happy of the number as he throws it to Coach before
leaving.
Foley: Thanks everyone! To all the people that will compete in
the 2014's Colleseum Battle Royal, Good Luck!
He shows his toothless grin and thumbs up to a good pop from the
Chicago fans as we go to the guys up top.
TG: Every man has drawn their number. We are now at our last
preview, the one for the 2014 Colleseum Battle Royal!
Twenty-five wrestlers will have the opportunity to obtain an
Universal title shot at Birth of Destruction VII, our biggest
show of the year! Let's see a video package for this match...
A match who can make careers!
HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=WcYOS4btnmE
OOC: It plays into the duration of the video package.
We start the video package with footage of last year's Battle
Royal.
Last Year, Cesaro entered number nine and competed for 41
minutes and 13 seconds...
We then see him eliminate Taz to win the Battle Royal. And his
celebration.
To win the 2013 Colleseum Battle Royal...
We then see footage from the 2012 edition.
Two years ago, Cody Rhodes came at number 16 and went for 24
minutes and 48 seconds...
We then see him eliminate Goldberg to win the Battle Royal.
To win the 2012 edition...
These two men didn't win the Universal Title at BOD but it was
the launching pad of their careers.
We see Cesaro becoming the top Un-American and being an
household name. We then see Cody claim the Universal Title and a
shot at him now once again holding it.
Tonight, 25 wrestlers will get the opportunity to follow in
their footsteps.
We see quick shots of the NWO, the Invasion, the Disciples,
Ziggler, Bryan, Hardy...

date=1418825709]Renee: Okay... well, lawsuits aside, coming up
at Colleseum, both of you will be representing Fusion in the
25-person battle royal. What are your thoughts on that match?
Torrie: I wouldn't be surprised if Stacy and I were rigged to
lose that match. I mean, come on, the Rock was CLEARLY given
anabolic steroids before our match on Fusion because there is no
way in hell he could've popped up that quick after me delivering
a Rock Bottom to him so quickly without an added stimulant. And
Stacy? Well, it was clear to me and the rest of the world that
Bret Hart and Magnus were working against her from the get go.
Stacy: We are so SICK of the politics and the misogyny in this
company! These guys want us to go away? Not a chance. We will
not leave until we have retribution for all the crimes committed
against us. At Colleseum, we will do anything to ensure one of
us gets the victory. And I mean anything.
Torrie: Anything.
Stacy and Torrie slap each other a high-five.
Torrie: Now, if you'd like to pay attention to the Torrietron
5000 behind you, we have prepared a little trailer video for our
upcoming short feature film, entitled "Mean Girls: Torrie and
Stacy's Revenge".
A pink graphic displaying "Mean Girls: Torrie and Stacy's
Revenge" flashes across the Torrietron 5000 and audio soon
begins to play with clips of Stacy and Torrie doing typically
girly things.
Who are The Mean Girls?
They're like royalty. If HCW were Us Weekly, they'd always be on
the cover.
That one there, that's Kane. He is one of the dumbest guys you
will ever meet. Damien bumped into him at a live event.
He asked me how to spell orange.
That little one, that's Torrie Wilson.
She's totally rich because her dad invented Toaster Streudels.
Torrie Wilson knows everybody's business, she knows everything
about everyone.
That's why her hair is so big, it's full of secrets.
And evil takes a human form in Stacy Keibler.
Don't be fooled because she may seem like your typical selfish,
back-stabbing slxt faced ho-bag, but in reality, she's so much
more than that.
She's the queen bee - the star, those other two are just her
little workers.
Sin Cara: If I am in the battle royal then they don't need to
prepare . Because I will be the last man between the ropes and
no one will change that. The Disciples of Darkness will be
strong and will reign supreme at Colleseum.
Bryan: Last year, I didn't compete in the Colleseum Battle Royal
so I went and checked what I did the year before...
It so happens that I lasted 18 minutes out there... And in those
18 minutes, I eliminated three men in that match, which was the
highest total tied with the man who won that Battle Royal, Cody
Rhodes.
Those three men? Big Show, HHH and HBK... That's a pretty good
list, if you know what I mean. I was almost in that final four
but Goldberg eliminated me back then.
But I was a different man back then... At Colleseum, I plan on
winning the Battle Royal... But in the case, I don't... I would
so love to eliminate Ziggler from it to see his face when he'll
fail again...
Anyway, this year, this is an even bigger test... But the Yes
Movement knows that excuses don't mean sh1t... I will go out
there... I will make an impact... And I will do my goddamn best
so that at the end of the night, I win the Battle Royal!
YES! YES! YES!
Undertaker: Perhaps a mistake was made on my part..
(The Undertaker raises his left arm and makes a weird motion
with his hand, within seconds the Disciples appear around him,
the camera then pans to the NWO as they are walking away. The
Undertaker then yells out towards them)
Undertaker: Hey!
(The NWO looks back and stops walking, while the Undertaker and
the disciples walk towards them)
Undertaker: Show, I'm not worried about having to go through you
or any other member of the NWO. I would expect y'all to stay out
of my business but if y'all can't I'm sure my disciples would
have some fun teaching y'all a lesson.. I didn't want it to be
this way, but I will not deny my Disciples a taste of fresh
blood.. Oh and Mick, id appreciate it if you didn't tell me what
I should or should not make a habit of, you are a mere mortal I
am a superior being and I don't care whether you approve of what
I do or not.. My Ministry is gonna grow and it's gonna grow
however I want it to and I am gonna do what I want to do,
resistance is futile.. Oh and guys, one more thing this weekend
at the PPV I'm gonna enter the battle royal, and I'm gonna win
the battle royal.. And if any one of you get in my way while I'm
in there it's not gonna end well...
Rock: The Rock is afraid that the Rock has some bad news for you
Wade Barrett. You want to toss all of nWo out of the battle
royal, but the whole nWo team won't be in the match. You see. I
have full intentions of walking out of Colleseum one half of the
new Synergy Tag Team Champions! If Shield doesn't have anything
better than what they brought at Collision, I am sure that will
happen.
Show: That leaves Bret and Me. Believe me Barrett. The whole

This is The British Invasion, the best super group you can find!
There's no doubt that one of us will win, in mine or anybodys
mind!
Once again, I'll tell you who we are, The British Invasion, you
don't need an introduction!
The Universal Champion versus a member of The Invasion main
eventing Birth of Destruction!
It could be Neville, the man that gravity forgot!
A Red Arrow to one particapant? How about a Red Arrow to the
lot?
How about Wade Barrett, the bare knuckle fighter from the North!
Big Show will be struggling to get one elimination, Wade will be
on his fourth!
The Anarchist, Douglas Williams, a two time tag champion with
me!
He can throw anyone over the top rope, you'll see!
And there's me, Brutus Magnus, the King of King's Lynn!
I'll happily win this thing and celebrate with beer and gin!
Me, Douglas, Wade or Adrian...it doesn't matter, one of us

The arena is practically empty, with a couple of people ambling
along backstage in St Louis, Missouri. All of a sudden, the
cameraman turns into...SCOTT STEINER!
SS: Well, it's pretty clear to me that things change quickly in
HCW. Man, I haven't been gone a great length o' time, but
there's been a GM change...wow, that don't happen to often roun'
here. And while some old threats have waded away, new threats
have arrived on the scene. Titles have switched hands,
friendships have been made and battle lines have been drawn. One
thing will remain the same in Collision though, and that thing
is exactly what all my freaks'll tell ya, Big Bad Booty Daddy is
back b!tch, and in Collision's past, present or future everyone
knows I kick ass. I love goin' to the ring in a bad mood, cuz
when I come out of that squared circle my mood changes! Why?
Because kicking ass is the remedy to all my issues! And I'm
lookin' forward to this here Battle Royale, where I will throw

Collision or Fusion, Veteran or Newbie, Friend or Enemy and Good
or Bad...you are goin' over the top rope courtesy of me! I AM
SCOTT STEINER! I am the only man to have ever won three matches

4-0 at Birth of Destruction, and I will extend that to 5-0 when
I defeat whoever the Universal Champion is!
Big Poppa Pump is your hookup, and this battle royal that Scott

Mick Foley. Mick, I am officially done with you. Our story in my
opinion is over and I’m glad about it, as now I’m going on to
bigger and better things. I’m going to take part in the
Colleseum Battle Royal and complete my comeback I started two
years ago and put the last piece in the puzzle and try and win
back the title that I never lost. That’s all I want to
do.
Several men with chip on their shoulders... All going for one
thing...
We then see the Universal Title hanging above the ring as the
video package ends with several of the people in this match
hitting their finishers.
TG: Coach, I'm once again starting with you... Your thoughts on
this year being a 25-wrestler edition?
JC: I look at the field last year, compared to the field with
five less last year and it's just so much more star
studded...this is 25 of the most elite wrestlers in the world
right now, and I love it.
TG: Hunter, you've been in that kind of match before... What
does it take to win the match?
HHH: A good draw surely helps but Cesaro proved that it doesn't
matter last year. So, a lot of toughness and a good
understanding of where you are at all times is very important.
TG: Michael, you probably love to call this match?
Cole: No doubt, Todd. We just don't know what can happen out
there. There's always surprises, shocking eliminations and
outstanding performances. This year, it will eb better with more
people in it.
TG: Coach, who do you see winning the match?
JC: There's so many options, but I'll tell you one thing really
quick: a lot of the people in the Battle Royal have issues with
other people in the Battle Royal, for example, even though the
Battle Royal is suited for him, if Big Show ends up in on his
own with two or three or however many Invasion members, I don't
care how big he is, he's going over the top...so, it's got to be
a guy who's kind of kept himself to himself in a way, and that
man, if he somehow doesn't win his title match, will be Edge.
TG: Hunter, of your two clients, who do you see getting the best
chance to win?
HHH: Easy. Dolph. Goldberg will win the Global Title tonight and
that would only leave him. And Dolph has an even bigger chip on
his shoulders this year than last year. And he is not competing
in a second match as well...
TG: Michael, who's your pick for that match?
Cole: It's so tough. I can definitely pick one out of ten guys
to win the Battle Royal... But I will admit that I have a
preference for Jeff Hardy if he doesn't win the International
Title tonight. He's in a state that I've rarely seen these days.
He looks as focused and as sound as I've seen him in his life.
It would be a great story if he was to win this match and go on
to BOD VII.
TG: Thanks Michael, well that’s it! We’re now very close to
Colleseum, my thanks to Renee Young, Matt Striker, Jonathan
Coachman, Triple H, Michael Cole, JBL, all the technical crew
and all the fans for tuning in. The details of how to buy the
PPV are on your screen, we’ll see you there!
The fans applaud as we go to credits.
