       Ural Mountains to Tyumen in Western Siberia. From there the

       Through a series of anonymous letters Trotsky wrote to a
       journalist at each stop of his journey to Siberia. Berezov. The
       second part returns to chronicle form as the narrator tells the
       story of his escape from Siberia in the first person, taking
       notes in a notebook. The fugitive Trotsky feared at every
       entrusted his life and freedom to the alcoholic coachman
       Nikifor, perhaps against his will. The fugitive Trotsky became a
       traveling nation. Scholar. Wear it during the coldest season of
