They train hard and are known to be vicious warriors. The men and women that make up the Marines are professional soldiers and make jobs out of their military career. Their job is to secure a safe, big area for the Army to deploy and continue the invasion. The Marines are also in charge of Homeland Security and guard the borders. Because of this they often work closely with the Navy. Also as a result of this, they work as their own army and have a small Air Force to themselves as well as land vehicles. Army- Commander: Field Marshall Blackman The Army are the men and women that make the push inland after a beachhead is established by the Marines in enemy territory. The Army is one of the biggest branches in the Spartan Military and is made up of men and women that are trained for 7- 12 months depending on their individual skill. The officers of the Army train at the Spartan Army Academy for four years and then jump right into their positions. The Army works closely with the Air Force and depends on the Navy or Air Force for transportation. Navy- Commander: Admiral Nelson The Navy is the most funded part of the Spartan navy and one of the most advanced branches. Because Sparta is surrounded by water and connected by bridges, the Navy's foremost job is to secure the Spartan waters and keep it safe. They also have a small division called Skippers, which their sole job is to patrol the waters and carry submarine detecting equipment. During times of war, the Spartan Navy's jobs are to secure Spartan waters, prevent the enemy from blockading the Islands of Sparta, giving advance warning of bombing attacks, supplying Air bases for the Air Force, and transporting the Marines and Army to their invading point against the enemy. Air Force- Commander: Air Marshall Doerring The Air Force is the second most advanced branch in the military. They play an essential role in keeping the Spartan Air Secure. The Air Force is split into two parts: the AirGuard(AG) and the AirWing(AW) The AirGuard is in charge of securing the air above Sparta and also works with the Navy to combat submarines. The AirWing plays a bigger role and are used for recon, bombings, taking control of enemy air, and they scout the waters of the Pacific for enemy fleets. Royal Guard- Commander: Lieutenant Grant The Royal Guard is a small branch that is tasked with the security of Sparta City, and they guard VIPs when they leave or enter the country and they guard the Royal Palace. Gladiators- Commander: General Jackson The Gladiators are first and foremost a guerrilla division. Their main job is to deploy deep into enemy territory and create confusion, observe enemy positions, and also to secure vital positions. They are highly trained in the arts of stealth, hand to hand combat, sabotage techniques, guerrilla tactics, and parachuting. They work closely with the Marines in helping the initial invasion of states and securing and holding vital points for the Marines. Black Angels- Commander: General Washington The Black Angels officially don't exist and only the King and his advisors know that they exist. The Black Angels are the best of the best and trained in all arts of combat and deployment. They specialize in assassinations and are used when Sparta cannot act publicly, but it is essential to act. There are rumors that they exist and are nicknamed the No Mercy Brigade because of their use in the Spartan Civil War where a base of Rebels was found completely destroyed with all its occupants killed and no trace of who did it was found. Falcons- Commander- Air Marshal Justinian The Falcons is the biggest secret of the Spartan military. It consists of unmarked stealth fighters, bombers, and interceptors. They are used when needed and there is no sign it even exists. There is one base that isn't recorded on an unoccupied island. The base is underground and the runways are underground with the exit emerging onto the beach. It is heavily guarded and the Falcons are used to bombard the enemy if they are a threat to Sparta. Since they do not use typical aircraft of the Spartan Air Force, they attack civilian targets and military with indifference. #Post#: 6437-------------------------------------------------- Re: Spartan Factbook By: Sparta Date: August 14, 2015, 10:22 am --------------------------------------------------------- Tanks used in Spartan Military HTML https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b9/Abrams-transparent.png Name: Viper (Based off IRL M1 Abrams) Weight M1A1: 63 short tons (57 t) M1A2: 68 short tons (62 t) Length Hull length: 26.02 ft (7.93 m) Width Weapon systems and Armor: Classified HTML https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2c/Al-Khalid_IDEAS_2012.jpg Name: Black Knight Weight: 46 t Length: 10.07 m Width: 3.50 m Height: 2.40 m Crew: 3 Armor: Composite Armor Main Armament: 150 mm smoothbore gun Secondary armament: 7.62 mm coaxial MG, 3000 rds 12.7 mm external AA MG, 500 rds Engine: Sparta 6-cylinder diesel 1,200 hp (890 kW) Power/weight Transmission Suspension: Operational range: 500 km (combat range) Speed: 72 km/h Name: T-14 Wolf Weight: 48 t Length 10.8 m Height 3.3 m Crew: 3 Armor: Classified Main Armament: 160 mm smoothbore Secondary Armament: Classified Engine: Classified Power/weight: 31 hp/t Speed: 60 mph Operational Range: 310 mi. Also, the B2 doesn't have that range. #Post#: 6488-------------------------------------------------- Re: Spartan Factbook By: Sparta Date: August 14, 2015, 2:39 pm --------------------------------------------------------- What do you mean? And yes I can show you a link. That is what the U.S. Military claims the distance to be and it never was proven to be wrong. #Post#: 6491-------------------------------------------------- Re: Spartan Factbook By: Caos Date: August 14, 2015, 3:02 pm --------------------------------------------------------- 150 mm? 160 mm? #Post#: 6493-------------------------------------------------- Re: Spartan Factbook By: Sparta Date: August 14, 2015, 3:13 pm --------------------------------------------------------- What about it? #Post#: 6497-------------------------------------------------- Re: Spartan Factbook By: Caos Date: August 14, 2015, 3:27 pm --------------------------------------------------------- It's kind of too big for your tanks. Your tanks would have MUCH different stats, and why do you need three different tanks? #Post#: 6498-------------------------------------------------- Re: Spartan Factbook By: Sparta Date: August 14, 2015, 3:44 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Most nations do have 3 tanks or more. Only the U.S. Doesn't really #Post#: 6499-------------------------------------------------- Re: Spartan Factbook By: Caos Date: August 14, 2015, 3:45 pm --------------------------------------------------------- No, not really. You have three completely different MBTs. They aren't upgrades, they are successive, they just appeared. It's called a Main Battle Tank for a reason. And that is it's the MAIN battle tank. #Post#: 6500-------------------------------------------------- Re: Spartan Factbook By: Sparta Date: August 14, 2015, 3:47 pm --------------------------------------------------------- Well I have 3. Kind of like Russia has I think 11-13 and China 15-20 ***************************************************** DIR Next Page
