       660 raptor rear shock fit 87 lt250r?

My 87 lt250r currently has an ltz400 rear shock and it's way to
stiff, has zero sag. I've got a good raptor 660 rear shock and
I've read a couple places they will fit the rear of the 87s but
I wanted to check with you guys to make sure before trying it.

I had a 91' LT250r with a LTZ400 shock on the rear. It to was
       way too stiff.
Now have an 88' frame with a works shock that was meant for a
Raptor 700. I had to make a bushing for either the top or
bottom shock mount to get it mounted, can't remember which.
Not sure about the Raptor 660.

The 660 and 700 shocks are almost identical except 700 being
slightly longer, so did the reservoir clear the frame and
       everything?

There's no issue with it hitting the frame. I'd upload a pic,
but the site is giving me an error message.
