Subj : *NIH admits US funded Wuhan gain-of-function research - despite Fauci? To : John Dovey From : Alan Ianson Date : Tue Oct 26 2021 03:48 pm Hello John, JD> The claim against Fauci is that he knowingly lied to Congress when JD> asked about the research at the Wuhan lab. Congress is going to be mad as hell! JD> It is now proven fact that the NIH WAS in fact funding research taking JD> place there, which Fauci at first denied then admitted to, albeit JD> claiming that the research wasn't "gain of function". It is well known that NIH was doing this research and possibly more we don't now about. JD> That is now factually disputed by the NIH itself. The term "Gain of JD> Function" is a term used by the NIH itself in defining the type of JD> research that they are permitted to fund. It's illegal for them to do JD> so. That's why Facuci denied doing so. What makes you think it is illegal? I just read that in 2017 the NIH had resumed funding gain of function research that was paused in 2014. JD> Rand Paul was using the term as it came from the NIH. Rand Paul and his ilk are a different issue. JD> Then there is the lab funded by the NIH where research ws done on JD> puppies who had their ability to make noises removed so researchers JD> wouldn't be bothered by the sounds of them crying and whimpering. This is terrible but this is not the issue here. Things like this probably happen in research settings. JD> No matter which way you slice this, the narrative has gone against JD> Fauci and his supporters. Once there are crying puppies involved, it's JD> all over ? Wrong. Ttyl :-), Al ....
