I've been having some issues with my VM locking up around 3:00 in the morning a lot lately causing the system to be down until I think to check it. My BBS runs on a VirtualBox VM running Windows 10 32-bit, mainly because of the DOS Doors not working on the 64 bit Windows 11 host server.

So I was thinking I could move the BinkP/mail traffice back out to the host computer and let the VM be dedicated for Telnet/BBS traffic.

My BBS is installed on my host "D Drive" which is also mapped to the VM "D Drive". I know I have to install the BBS program in a second location and poin the data directory to the main path, but I'm wondering if anyone has done anything like this before and do y'all have any pointers?
