if it were me personally i think i'd go with the Win11+NTVDM64 setup. i don't
know that it's worth the effort to configure VMs if the machine is only for
the BBS anyways.

both of these are equivalent if you're only using the machine for the BBS.
mystic will never use the 3.5gb of ram nor would it use 8, 16 or more. it's
wasted. probably with a web server and an ircd and who knows what else you'd
still have a surplus of ram.

the only relevant thing i can think of is that you could move the VM between
computers easily (since it's just basically a hard disk image and some
metadata)
