Subj : Music Biz/Personal Assistants To : Doug Gilby From : Gary Gilmore Date : Thu May 17 2001 09:58 am DG> I am looking for a few personal assistants that have time to spend with DG> me on a buisness plan... Don't get me wrong... I'm not being rude, but... 1) You're not going to get much for free in this business. You're almost certain NOT to find anyone to "give there [sic] full attention" for free. I've been in the "music biz" (on a top-level professional level) for about 23+ years, and I don't think I've *ever* ran into anyone worth a damn that "did it for free". Again, not being rude, just honest. 2) You'd be better off running a small ad in a local paper, or perhaps some local "music scene" paper there. There's not many in this echo from Niagara Falls, so you're kinda wasting your breath. 3) You should be more clear as to what you expect this person to do (for free) for you and your career. You're giving no information now other than "I want you to do something, and do it for free", which really isn't going to attract anyone, sorry to say. --gary --- Maximus 3.01 * Origin: Support your local Guitar Tech! * (313)582-0888 (1:2410/400) .
